Detta hus är minuter från alla 6 av DuPont State Forests parkeringsplatser. Det är också en av de närmaste hyresfastigheterna nära Fred W. Symmes "PRETTY PLACE" -kapell, bara 7 mil bort. Det är en perfekt plats att bo på när man deltar i ett bröllop där eller bara åker upp på eftermiddagen för att se utsikten från korset.

DuPont State Forest är en utomhusälskares dröm med många vattenfall inklusive: Hooker Falls, High Falls, Triple Falls, Grassy Creek Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wintergreen Falls och mer. Det har 86 mil vandrings- / cykel- / ridspår på över 10 000 tunnland. Dupont är en av de bästa mountainbike destinationerna i sydöstra.

Huset har gott om parkeringsplatser för 3-4 bilar, en trevlig veranda för stjärntittning på natten plus ett stort däck utanför för att umgås med familjen och laga mat på gasgrillen. Köket är vidöppnat med nya bänkskivor, nyligen finfördelade skåp fulla av nya rätter, grytor, kastruller och mycket utrymme för att fixa måltider. Det finns gott om sittplatser överallt för avkopplande, soliga hickorygolv i hela huset, nya badrum och armaturer. Soffan, 3 sängar, handdukar, sängkläder, tvättmaskin och torktumlare är alla nya. Det finns en 55 "Vizio Smart TV i vardagsrummet och en 32" Vizio TV i sovrummet, båda med direkt-TV. Huset har 2 eldstäder inomhus och en eldgrop på gården.

Very convenient location

Thanksgiving stay

The property is just as advertised and is very comfortable. Our friends were very impressed with the bed and slept better than they had in weeks. It made for a very comfortable stay.

Love this place

This was my third time staying at this property, I absolutely love it. It’s location to the DuPont Forest and the Pisgah Forest is perfect, so many waterfalls and places to hike. Peace, quiet and tranquility abound, and the neighboring town of Brevard has everything you could need.

Great Stay - As Always

Wonderful time

The property was very nice and quiet. It met all of our needs. Great location for hiking and biking. Close to Jeter Mtn for Apple picking season and to Brevard for the Annual White Squirrel Festival.

Perfect location

Place of Peace

The place of serenity!! The bear trail walk right outside of this place was beautifully organized. The house had everything I needed, even down to the seasoning for my food, it was such a cozy and peaceful place to be. I will definitely rent again and add it to my travel business, must go ideals.

Anniversary trip!

Very nice property! We loved the convenience of where the property was located. Less than 10 minutes to beautiful waterfalls. 15-20 minutes to fine dining. Would recommend highly, my wife is already planning a trip back staying at the same property.

Cute house, great location

The house was cute and very clean, and the location was great. Unfortunately, the hot water heater froze because of the record lows they were having, and we had to move to another house. Patrcia was very helpful and immediately refunded our entire stay. We will definitely book this property next time we are in Brevard.

Great house, Great Location!!

Looking for something different than oceans, theme parks, and blistering heat. Found this cute home in Cedar Mountain, NC and headed north. The property and house are surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers by the porch. The owners communicated promptly with instructions and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The instructions were clear and easy to follow with a personal feel. The inside of the house is decorated with pictures of some of the sights and maps with directions of things to see. There were maps and guides as well as recommended restaurants close by if you are looking for stuff to do while you're there (there was WAY more to do than we could fit in a week and we really tried!). The house is in the perfect location close to Dupont and Pisgah trails and falls. We could've spent the entire week hiking trails and seeing the falls/ forest sights and still not done it all. There are tons of things nearby like fly fishing guides, canoeing/ kayaking/ tubing, the blue ridge parkway, the town of Brevard (shops), and more. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything needed to fix 3 meals a day if you want, there were cozy blankets on the couches, and plenty of towels/ linens. There's a covered porch with chairs in the front and a cute deck with a table & chairs in the back to sit outside and enjoy the view. Great house, great location!

Cedar Mountain getaway

We used this home for overflow of Thanksgiving guests and it was a great choice. It is clean, nicely laid out, and well maintained. The location is not excellent for hiking and visiting this beautiful area. Thanks for letting us stay.

Destination Pretty Place

We came to the area for my Nephew's wedding at The Pretty Place Chapel. My parents, my husband, and myself. We ended up with the happy couples 1 year old the majority of our stay. The house was very clean and welcoming. Patti was very responsive. We were located right between the Chapel and the house that was rented for the entire Bridal Party. It was a wonderful week. We felt right at home and the area was beautiful and quit.

Another awesome bike trip

Location location location. This property sits comfortably right at the edge of DuPont St Forrest. We’ve stayed here twice now for our annual mtn bike trip and it’s perfect. The hosts keep it clean and it’s perfect for what we needed. Supper close to the trails and comfy for us to relax and unwind in.

Roomy comfortable House

This place had all you could need. Lots to watch on tv but couldn’t get regular Chanel’s. Very well stocked. Close to all you need but tucked in the woods to itself. Ways navigator usually is spot on but it will take you a 1/4 past the house. Look for mail box # or you’ll drive past it. Bed was comfortable though a little soft. Sofas were great 4 recliners built in.

Third time staying!

This is the PERFECT location for an event we attended and bring so close to the parks, yet near enough to cafe and necessities is great. On-site laundry is a bonus too after a day of activities.

We've vacationed all over using VRBO for many years and always found ourselves coming back to the mountains, staying near Hendersonville, Brevard and DuPont State Forest. We love to mountain bike the trails, hike to the waterfalls and swim in Fawn Lake. We were actually biking in DuPont when they were filming The Hunger Games.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Location, Location, Location. As soon as we saw the house was for sale, we knew we wanted to be here, close to DuPont State Forest. It is the most convenient house to all the DuPont parking lots. We can bike early, hike later and swim in Fawn Lake in the afternoon. Then come home and sit outside by the campfire while supper is prepared on the back deck.

Staying here, you can get to any of the parking lots in the park in minutes. You can get there early, go home for lunch and back in the afternoon if you like. It's like having the whole place in your backyard. Plus the Cedar Mountain Café is only 200 yards away for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
