Villa Gorgone is everything you hope it to be when you look at the photos. The house is spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated. We appreciated the large main area with room to gather, have dinner, or just relax together before bed. The Sicilian artwork through really made you feel at home. The outdoor spaces and views really make the villa something special. The very large main patio has stunning views of Taormina and the sea, Mt Etna, Naxos , Castlemola, and distant villages. You can also see Calabria off in the distance. Many in our group thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub which is on anupstairs patio. The house itself is very nice, clean, and very well equipped. It should be noted the Villa, as in all Taormina, requires the ability to climb many stairs. There is garage parking for one vehicle as well as an open space for a second one Enza was a pleasure to work with while planning our stay in her beautiful villa, and stayed in touch during our stay to make sure we didnât need anything. Prior to our visit she recommended a chef (Fabbio Vassalo)to come to the villa to prepare dinner. What a treat that was. She also recommended a tour of Mount Etna which was truly something not to be missed. If you are looking for a fabulous place to stay in Taormina, with an excellent host,this is it.
