Villa Ambra är en mysig villa på 3 våningar med kvalitetsinredning, två kök (inomhus och utomhus) och alla moderna bekvämligheter inklusive diskmaskin, satellit-TV, luftkonditionering och WiFi. Från alla terrasser kan du njuta av en hisnande utsikt över Etna och havet.

Du kommer till villan från två fina vita trappor som leder till verandan med lavastenbord (perfekt för utomhuslunchar), den privata poolen och ett solarium med solstolar.

Bottenvåningen består av ett rymligt vardagsrum med satellit-TV, en matsal, ett välutrustat kök och en toalett.

Sovområdet är på de övre våningarna och det är helt täckt av ett svalt parkettgolv. På första våningen finns två sovrum med dubbelsäng med tillgång till panoramaterrassen, ett sovrum med två enkelsängar och två badrum.

Den sista våningen har en dubbelsäng, ett badrum, ett extra litet rum med en enkelsäng (som du bara kan nå genom det andra sovrummet) och tillgång till en terrass med bord, stolar och en fantastisk utsikt som sträcker sig till kusten av Giardini Naxos.

Poolen är öppen året runt och den mäter 9 m med 5 m och dess djup är mellan 1 och 2. 5 m.

We all enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was spacious as were the outdoor areas. The location was quite good. The drive to Taormina was relatively easy and only took about 20 minutes. The view of Etna was impressive, but the views of the sea were unfortunately hazy because of the smoke from Etna. The only negative was was abandoned construction directly across the street; however, it did not obscure the view.

Fantastiskt bra boende med mycket bra poolområde. Jag, min fru och våra två barn med respektive gjorde aktiviteter på förmiddagarna och hängde vid poolen på eftermiddagarna. Bordtennis, läsa böcker och svalka sig i poolen var underbart skönt. Fin utsikt från balkongen mot Etna som en kväll visade upp eld mot mörk himmel. Kommer aldrig glömma det

We had a wonderful stay. The villa had excellent amenities and was even better than the photos. Highlights were the views over Etna and the fabulous pool and terrace where we spent many hours relaxing. Thank you also to Orazio for the excellent welcome and for his kindness and understanding. Ancient Beauty

We stayed in a beautiful, well appointed villa in the Tripitello section of Taormina. It is a lovely neighborhood with many villas. Our villa had a wonderful view of Mount Aetna which has its own weather. There are many significant historical sites to visit in the area. We enjoyed the town of Naxos with its spectacular ocean views and restaurants on the water. The food in the area is terrific especially if you like seafood.

Lovely large villa, great pool. Easy to get to places…Etna, Taormina, Catania. Great views of Etna, pity about the view of the partially built apartment building opposite, although not noticeable from the pool area. Well equipped kitchen, good sized bedrooms. All very clean.

Lovely villa

A lovely villa. Lots of space, big bedrooms. Gorgeous outside spaces, terraces and verandas where you can find a peaceful corner, or catch the sun at different times of the day. Lovely pool. Car definitely needed.just over an hour to Etna, 10 minutes to Taormina, 50 minutes to Catania.

Lovely well equipped villa with beautiful views

Villa Ambra was a relatively easy drive from Catania airport and had everything we needed for a week's holiday. The Pool was lovely and refreshing and well maintained. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. The garden was attractive with beautiful views out over Mt Etna. It was nice having a variety of options for eating outside during different times of the day. Trappitello itself is unremarkable but has a well stocked Eurospin supermarket which was inexpensive and a couple of restaurants. Gian Franco's s Steakhouse were very welcoming and friendly with great food and wine, so much so we ate there twice and were greeted as friends. So far as excursions are concerned, Taormina is a must (we parked at Porto Catania carpark after reading hideous reviews about the vehicle clearance at Lumbi parking). Siracusa/Ortigia and the centre of Catania were lovely. Savoca is worth a visit and has connections with the Godfather film. We also did a 4x4 sunset tour of Mt Etna which was very enjoyable. The only negatives were that there were some dogs in a neighboring property which barked constantly. I wonder whether the owner might have a word with the neighbour? Some of the pool loungers were a bit worse for wear and getting the car into the designated space was very tricky. But overall we loved the property and would recommend it.

Vi bodde 6 personer i detta boendet. Vi var jättenöjda. Alla 3 paren fick en dubbelsäng och egen toalett. Rent och snyggt. Det fanns allt som vi behövde. Huset ligger i ett lugnt område med en fantastisk utsikt. Värden var mycket trevlig och svarade snabbt. Rekommenderas verkligen.

Our extended family had a wonderful time in Villa Ambra! Everyone we dealt with was very nice from the online booking to Piero and Orazio who met us at the house to give us a tour and information we would need. They even left a bottle of wine and some snacks. The house was beautiful with more than enough room for 7 of us with 3 bathrooms and an outdoor shower outside. The outside area was spectacular with a view of Mt. Etna, and the sea, and the towns of Taromina and Castelmole. The kids really enjoyed the pool and it was a comfortable place to gather with a gorgeous table and chairs by the pool and out front. Piero gave us the name of a man named Charlie who came to the house with his assistant Antonio and prepared an amazing feast for us to eat outside to celebrate our anniversary. I would highly recommend doing this!! Plenty of loungers too, along with an outdoor kitchen. It is walking distance to town and we took advantage of that by going every morning for a cafe and cornonetto, and even tried one of the restaurants, which was great! There is a grocery store called the Eurospin that has everything you may need. We had a great visit at this beautiful spot and would highly recommend it!!

We miss it already!

We traveled to Sicily from Massachusetts, USA in June 2023 and spend 5 days at Villa Ambra. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 teens. We really enjoyed our stay. We liked how it was located a little bit away from the tourist area. We walked down the hill to the town area every morning and enjoyed getting coffee and pastries and practicing our Italian (thank you Google Translate). It was a wonderful experience for my family. There is everything you need a walk away including a grocery store. It was in a great location! Only a 15 minute drive to Taormina (we use the Lumbi parking garage and then took the free 3-5 minute bus to town, easy). We drove to Giardina Naxos for dinner a few times (5-10 min). Did a day trip to Mount Etna and another day trip to where our family is from about 1 hour away. The house was clean and the pool and patio were fantastic. Great views. I little bit of an eyesore with the house across the street being what looks like abandoned after pouring the base concrete but on the positive the view wasn't blocked. There was a wonderful view of Etna! We all can't wait to go back some day!

Feels like home

This villa is great! A lovely place to stay - pool and big outside area, as well as a lovely house. We are a family of 3 couples and we all had big bedrooms and separate bathrooms. The property is situated in the village of Trappitello. Walking distance to shops, supermarket and a couple of cafes. You need a car to get into Taormina and around the area. We had a van - the access road is narrow but fine once you get used to it. Definitely recommend this property.

We loved our stay in the villa of Trappitello. It felt very grand and bohemian at the same time. Loads of space, bedrooms with enough storage and super comfortable. Swimming pool was beautiful if a little cold in October! We used the kitchen often and would walk down daily to the village to get supplies. Just a ten minute drive to some great beach clubs in Naxos and a 20 minute drive to Taormina (tip: use the multistorey to park!).

We had an amazing stay at Villa Ambra. The Villa worked great for our group of 9 (two families) as there was good space both for privacy as well as for joint dinners outside enjoying amazing view of mt Etna. We were warmly welcomed by Orazio and Piero whom gave us a good tour of the property. The Villa turned out to be more spacious than what we though based on the pictures. The kitchen worked well for us, and we also enjoyed using the outside charcoal grill. The pool space was also great. Location worked well for reaching Taormina and nearby beaches by car. We'd highly recommend Villa Ambra for any group looking to explore Taormina and Sicily!

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit guter Anbindung. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich um alle erdenklichen Anliegen kümmern. Allerdings braucht die Einrichtung an ein paar Stellen Erneuerung und leider sind nicht alle Betten für Erwachsene geeignet.

Tous les renseignements qui m'ont été communiqués par Giulia étaient juste et précis. je veux souligner l'excellent accueil de Piero le propriétaire, lors de notre arrivée dans sa villa et sa réactivité pour répondre à une demande de notre part. La vue sur l'Etna est sublime surtout en soirée au soleil couchant (Préparez vos appareils photos) Le seul point négatif, mais totalement indépendant de Airbnb et du propriétaire, c'est les aboiements fréquents de deux chiens, pas voisins mais à proximité. Nous ne regrettons pas le choix de cette villa.
