The property was perfect for our family. The outdoor space, particularly the rooftop patio, provided space for outdoor dining, relaxation and beautiful views. The property is conveniently located in the city center, a short walk to shopping and dining.Our host was wonderful, responded quickly to our questions.

overall very convenient but very noisy with early morning delivery trucks very early morning recycling trucks and at night til late very noisy people and motorcycles/scooters coming and going. The rooftop is very nice and the outside area out back.

Villa Mimosa provided a large and spacious accommodation for our group, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. In addition, the host was very communicative and offered suggestions for restaurants, beach clubs, trips to Mt Etna, etc, that made enjoying the wider area a seamless experience. We would stay again and highly recommend the property, especially for larger families.

My goodness! This is like staying at your fancy grandmother’s house, right across the road from The Four Seasons and just stairs from the main part of town. The garden was lovely—and the terrace was a delightful spot for coffee and croissants for breakfast, and one night we sat under the stars and enjoyed wine and charcuterie. (Parking is down the mountain if you drive in—so you’ll definitely get your steps in.) The property manager was incredibly sweet and patient with us. This was the perfect place to stay for a girls trip for a special birthday!

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location. When arriving, just put in the Four Seasons Hotel as your destination, as opposed to the villa address. It will be much easier to navigate the streets of Taormina and reach VillaMimosa. Park at Parcheggio Porta Carania- much easier to get there than the recommended parking.

A very interesting villa and we really enjoyed our short stay. Taxi took us right to the door. Check in was simple and communication with Nadia was excellent. Air conditioning excellent and necessary given the temperature levels. View from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. Minor improvements would be some instructions re kitchen appliances etc.

First the good. Great location for walking around, charming and we enjoyed hanging out on the roof. The problem starts when you are trying to sleep. One of the worst beds I’ve ever slept on and our entire party felt the same way. It was also ridiculously noisy. Trash pickup banging glass bottles EVERY night. Plus the area outside the house is dedicated to motorcycle and moped parking. Coming and going all hours of the night and early morning. We fell in love with Taormina but hardly slept during our stay.

Luxury in Taormina

Getting around by car in Taormina is very difficult, but once we'd settled in, this apartment was magnificent. The host was thorough in introducing us to the home and responsive to inquiries. Our 2 related families/8 adults had plenty of space. The terrace with comfortable seating was complemented by the multiple seating areas in the garden. The decor is tasteful, and many essentials were available in the well equipped kitchen. A multitude of restaurants immediately nearby and a close good-sized grocery store contributed to an enjoyable stay.

This lovely historical home was huge and amazing! The location was perfect to walk to shops and restaurants from. There were four of us and we each had our own bedrooms. The temperature inside was easy to control as well as the lighting. We stayed there over the weekend. Therefore, there was a lot of noise from the surrounding restaurants at night and recycling early in the mornings. But we got used to it quickly. We were still happy to stay there. We picked this place because of the spacious terraces located out back and on the rooftop. However it rained and hailed the entire time we were there so we never got to enjoy them. Thankfully, umbrellas are provided by the host. Check-in was easy and so was communication with the host. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautifully appointed home.
