There is also a weekly market every Friday. Take a stroll to the banks of the River Welland which winds its way through Stamford and enjoy some lovely walking and an abundance of wildlife. There is a great deal to enjoy nearby with a huge range of attractions in and around Stamford, with the beautiful Elizabethan stately home of the Burghley Estate, a variety of golf courses and Rutland Water to name a few.
