Bella Vista Salida är nyrenoverat och skickligt inredda i modern sydlig stil. Vi är bara 7 minuter från centrala Salida, 25 minuter från fantastiska skidåkning vid Monarch Mountain, 13 minuter från Arkansas River (Stone Bridge Access), 26 minuter till Mt Princeton Hot Springs, 21 minuter till Browns Canyon (Hecla Junction Access). Det finns gott om plats för flottan / snömaskinen så ta med leksakerna!

Salida är en underbar gammal gruvstad med en livlig konst och musikscenen och ett växande antal lokala hantverksbryggerier och destillerier. Hem till FIBark, Amerikas äldsta och djärvaste whitewaterfestival, varje juni och många andra festivaler under hela året, är Salida ett bra semestermål. Nämnde vi vädret? Vädret är fantastiskt i Salida nästan hela tiden.

Bella Vista Salida ligger i Pinion Hills, strax utanför Salida. Vi är bara 3 timmar (167 miles) från Denver International Airport och 2:15 (109 miles) från Colorado Springs Airport. Du behöver inte ens köra över ett högt bergspass för att komma hit!

We had such a fantastic weekend here! The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean, and the views were spectacular. Great birdwatching, too! It was close to town and good hikes, but one day we stayed in and around the house all day because it was so comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again then next time I'm in Salida!

Amazing Mountain Views

We stayed on a hot June weekend. Tons of space in the house with beds and bathrooms. No air conditioning so evening temps in the house were very warm, but cooled off overnight.Probably the most well stocked kitchen we have ever seen at VRBO home.

We had a nice weekend stay here. The house is in perfect order with everything you need. It’s a quick trip down to town, but we enjoyed the retreat up the hill for the quiet evenings.

Annual Girls Trip

We are a group of 6 Moms who fly out to Salida to escape our real lives. (I work for Monarch, so we go up to the mountain). The house had the most incredible views of the mountains, everything you could possibly need, and plenty of space. It was quiet, quaint and pretty centrally located to everywhere you needed to go. The owners were quick to respond and available for anything we needed. You wont regret booking this home.

Bella Vista is 100% worth booking.

The property was clean and very spacious. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. They did not skimp on pillows or linens. There are thermostats in every room. The heaters are on the base boards so the floors are warm in the winter months. I cannot fine anything bad to say about the property. Don was very hospitable and a great host.

Wonderful Friend Reunion

The location was wonderfully peaceful and scenic. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and lightning shows from the patio and living room. Very comfortable for 6 adults. Gave 4 stars on “accuracy of listing” because the online photos don’t do the place justice. I was worried the living room was a dark space (and almost didn’t consider this home) but it was bright and cheerful. Could use a nightlight and hairdryer in the master bath but overall very well stocked home.

Perfect Place for 3 Generations

This beautiful property had everything we could have wanted or needed for our stay in Salida. We had our two kiddos and my in laws with us and enjoyed the stocked kitchen and cozy living areas whenever we were not out and about at Monarch or in the city. We had a very comfortable stay and would love to come back!

Clean and lovely home close to Salida

Beautiful home in a great location - everything was perfect, they even had a Christmas tree! We (6 adults) had a wonderful time: home cooked meals in the well appointed kitchen, a short drive to fantastic skiing at Monarch, and cozy fires in the wood-burning fireplace. Our only (extremely minor) complaint is that the lighting in the kitchen is too bright and harsh. But truly, everything was perfect - beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for our family with 4 adult “children” to hang out, play games, watch TV, and enjoy the fire. The views from the front window and primary bedroom were incredible.

Wonderful vacation stay!

We had a great time in this beautiful home for our girl's getaway! The location is just a few minutes from downtown Salida but a world away in feeling. It was so quiet and peaceful at night and the views from the front porch were amazing. The house is spacious, with a very well stocked kitchen. I especially appreciated being able to use the garage to pull in my car at night. We all agreed that we would definitely come back for another stay in the future! Eileen S.

A Great Trip

There was plenty of room for five adults. The view of the mountains was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful after a day of hiking and fishing. A wonderful time for our family to be together.

Best place to stay!

This place was absolutely fantastic. They had everything you could need from blankets to 3 different coffee makers to insta pots. The beds were beyond comfortable and the location is spot on. The view of the mountains is a 360 view. The place for seven of us very comfortable and they were great hosts. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Amazing Home

We had an amazing vacation in this very clean and well stocked home! The location was perfect for enjoying the town in the evenings after skiing all day at Monarch. We loved watching the sunset from the front porch and visiting around the fire. This was one of our best VRBO experiences!

Buena Vista Salida does not disappoint!

From the spectacular views, fireplace (firewood), and warm inviting atmosphere, to the little things like leftover condiments in the fridge and staples in the cabinets, Don and Nanci have created a home that will make you feel totally comfortable in no time at all. Everything you'll need is here. Quick trip to town (~15 mins) for groceries, and you've got yourselves a home base without worry. Salida is charming, quaint, and super friendly with a Walmart and Safeway close-by. Very quiet neighborhood with calm, relaxed resident deer coming through every now and again. EASY check-in, and Don and Nanci were always a quick message away with any questions or concerns, rapid replies. I really can't say enough about this place, it was absolutely perfect for our trip to Monarch (~35 mins away). Lovely, lovely, lovely...one of our best VRBO experiences yet. Can't recommend enough.

I am a retired engineer and avid outdoor adventurer. I lived in the Atlanta area since 1977 when I was a freshman at Georgia Tech. I remained in Atlanta after graduating from Georgia Tech and married, started an engineering business, and raised 3 children (and now I am a grandparent). While Georgia is still our legal residence, today Nanci and I split time between our new home in Salida, our home on the Chattooga River in SC and the family farm in WV.

My passions include whitewater kayaking, fly fishing, hunting, skiing and just about anything out of doors.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I first entered the Arkansas Valley in 1997 on my first western kayaking trip from Georgia. I instantly fell in love with the Arkansas river and Colorado in general. I’ve visited there many times since and expanded my engineering business into Colorado in 2006. However, I did not return to the Arkansas Valley until 2013 when my engineering company was fortunate enough to work with the Salida School District on the new middle school. It took no longer than my first visit to Salida to reignite my love of the Arkansas and I immediately fell in love with Salida. Nanci, my wife joined me on one of my early visits to the area and she too fell in love. We had to become a part of the Salida community and the Arkansas River valley!

We began our search for that perfect Salida home. It took 4 years and we finally found it at Bella Vista Salida. Thank goodness for the patience of our realtor Maureen Shultz with Gore Range Group LLC. We toured a lot of homes in and around Salida until we found this one. We think it is perfect and we hope you do to. Enjoy!

Nanci and I have never had the chance to create a home starting with a clean palette so this was an exciting time for us. We can't thank Nicole Balaun at Su Casa Furniture & Sleep Shop in Salida enough for her wonderful design help and outstanding customer service making this house our new home!
