Beautiful Townhome

Four of us rented this place for a quick weekend getaway to Mountain Bike and enjoy the town of Salida. No surprises here. The unit is just as described. We had a great stay.

Great Modern Home, close to trails and town

We had a great stay. We had a minor mechanical issue, and it was handled by the owners and property manager very quickly. We would love to stay again! We love Salida!

Great property!

This is our second stay with friends at this home and we really enjoyed both times. The living/dining area is nice and open for us to hang out and we did some stargazing on the private back patio. We’ll be back!

Spacious, clean, well-equipped property walking distance to downtown Salida. Really appreciated the roomy garage. Entire property was nicely furnished. Cute backyard area. Would stay here again!

Great stay in salida

Some friends and I were in Salida for the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! Plenty of space to hang out indoors and the back patio was wonderful also. It was a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the main river park area of town. The host was very easy to communicate and work with. The place was clean and quiet.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here with our family and another family. The air conditioning on the top floor was a nice surprise for the hotter days. Everything was well stocked. We especially enjoyed the back patio!

Great family stay in Salida

In town for a family wedding. The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable and loved the view of the mountains from the living room. Wish we had time to use the patio. Walking distance to town but if you choose to drive, parking was easy. Would certainly recommend this property.

Very nice and within walking distance from everything you need.

Very well stocked kitchen and all amenities you might need for bath and laundry. Very clean and will definitely stay again. I definitely give 5 stars. There are a lot of stairs but not a problem if you do not have mobility issues.

Great place!

The property is very spacious and new, and it was very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we loved the open shared space and outdoor area. Kitchen is awesome too and had everything we needed. Walking distance to downtown and running/walking trails. Check in was easy and everything worked great, we had zero issues with our stay :)

Rafting the Arkansas

Property was perfect. Lots of space. Awesome backyard. Close to downtown about 10” walk. Rafted Browns Canyon and the Royal Gorge. 5 star property all the way around. Quiet area. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and clean & comfortable stay

We enjoyed the proximity to everything in town with an easy walk with the kids to the river, shops and restaurants. The layout of the house worked out well for us! especially the kids room with multiple kids. The backyard was really pleasant to hang out in in the mornings and evenings when things cooled down. The kitchen was especially full of everything we needed with lots of extras for anything we wanted to cook. Wendy was in close communication making sure we had everything we needed for check-in. We would definitely stay again.

Clean and close to town

The place was very clean and close to town. There is a king bedroom and a bedroom with bunk beds and a single (and more if you want them) upstairs, and both are a very good size. The queen bedroom is downstairs next to the kitchen and is smaller. Town is close by (we walked to town to eat a few times and to go to the playground). The property is as described online and one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at. The decor was cute and the art great.

Nice spot, good hosts.

We had a lovely time in Salida, skiing powder days at Monarch, walking into town for good eats, hiking straight from the house to the top of the hill we could see from the living room and back, with a stop for hot pizza and cold beer on the way back. We did cook in the kitchen a few times and found it well-stocked and easy to use, e.g. oil, spices, pots, pans, plenty of plates, bowls, and silverware all available. Of note, it was relatively convenient to plug in our car via 120V outlet next to the driveway, which was a nice plus for us. Putting an extra 15 or 20 kWh in the car overnight meant we didn't need to spend as much time hunting a charger. We had an issue with the hot water, which the host had preemptively warned us about the week before, but we successfully got hot showers using the trick the host told us to try. I'd want to confirm with the hosts, but I think you might also be able to park a short trailer in the driveway (e.g. raft on short neck trailer), which isn't always easy to find. We would gladly stay again.

Salida in the summer is almost heaven- Bill loves the mountain running (and biking) trails, Suzanne loves the crisp air, and the kids love the river. The winter isn't bad, either.

I love sitting on the couch on a sunny afternoon watching the bicycles weave down the paths around Tenderfoot hill, and I love walking to town to get the $5 lunch special at Moonlight Pizza.
