The location is ideal for access to places such as Stithians Lake (5 miles) with its range of water sports; The Great Flat Lode (7.5 miles) and the Bissoe Trail (4.5 miles) – all ideal for walkers and cyclists – along with Kennall Vale Nature Reserve (1.5 miles), where you’ll find walking trails, waterfalls, babbling brooks and a flooded quarry amongst the ruins of a gunpowder factory. Falmouth (5 miles), known for its festivals and maritime scene, is a bustling hive of year-round activity with great restaurants and cafes to explore and four beaches to enjoy. Head to the north coast and in less than 12 miles reach Porthtowan, famous for its fantastic surfing.
