En spiraltrappa tar dig upp genom tre nivåer. Varje våning har sin egen privata balkong och gott om dörrar för att släppa in ljuset och havbrisen. Arkitektoniska detaljer och möbler är avancerade. Designerkök har marmorräknare, en 6-brännare gasspis, Sub-Zero Frig och alla redskap för att glädja alla kockar. Köket / vardagsrummet ligger på andra våningen med sovrumsviterna på 1: a och 3: e tillräckligt med separering och integritet för en flerfamiljssituation.

Sovrumsviterna är en glädje. Båda sovrummen är öppna för överdimensionerade badrum med dubbla fåfängar och stora, duschar i dusch. Huset har 4 bäddar (2 kungar och 2 murphy-sängar i full storlek). Full storlek sängar finns i en svit från varje kung, det kanske inte är tillräckligt privata för en separat familj, men säkert rum tillräckligt för barnen eller en annan vuxen. Great Beach Experience!

Very unique house! The steps are not for the feint of heart, but we didn’t mind it at all! Amazing view from every deck! Dolphins out there every day! We had groceries delivered from Walmart for 10 fee and totally worth it! Our family of seven had plenty of space and we would definitely stay again!

First Time At Folly Beach

The house is nice and fully stocked with everything you need for the beach (towels, chairs, boogie boards and sand toys) Beds were very comfortable.Location is great. Not in the crowded part near the town. Owner was responsive when I had questions. Overall, a good experience.

The home is beautiful and spacious, with a large number of stairs. However, we all viewed the stairs as a workout, and actually enjoyed them. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Tyler provided beach chairs, beach towels, high-end linens, bath towels, and every possible kitchen utensil one could need! I have never rented a home with every utensil I need to cook for my family. The best part of the home was the huge, rainfall showers with bamboo seats (perfect for my best friend who is a stroke survivor). Tyler was the perfect host who responded immediately to any questions I had. We incredibly enjoyed the outdoor seating on all four floors. The back door was perfect for in and out, daily beach days. The faucet on the first floor deck was quite useful for washing sandy feet and chairs... I can go on and on about how much we loved this house! Does it need a few upgrades? Yes. But with a house of this size, it is very obvious they are in the midst of upgrading areas of the home that are used the most. No one can remodel this huge house in a day and the choices being made are strategic for the comfort of all renters.Tyler, thank you. Your home is beautiful and we had the most amazing week!

This is one of the nicest homes that I have stayed at on any vacation.

The views from the home are spectacular. There are a lot of stairs, so it is not appropriate for everyone.

Great stay!

Waterfront location was outstanding. Views couldn’t be beat. Beds were very comfortable. Stairs are a bit much but we knew that going in and they were worth it overall. The owner was very responsive to our inquires and helping with all our inquires. If I return to Folly Beach it’s the house I’ll be staying at again

Another terrific stay

I love this property and we had a return visit this time. Please check out my previous review—everything that I indicated was fixed for this day. Bathroom light was fixed upstairs, there was a nice set of knives, there were more dish rags, and dish towels. There was a set of beach towels as well as a set of beach chairs, so we would not have had to bring that stuff along this time. All the beautiful casserole dishes and serving platters are awesome. Thanks Tyler!

Gorgeous Oceanfront Home with Amazing Location and Views

What a spectacular place!! From the grand front entry to the elegant spiral staircases, to the beautiful furnishings and incredible ocean views with balconies on all 4 floors... this place is a 10!! We loved stepping out from the house onto the sand and strolling along the beach to the lighthouse or town. Good proximity to Charleston and Folly Beach downtown. Kids and adults all loved it!

This house has the best beach views in Folly but as the host said lots and lots of winding steps. If you can walk all the steps the house is soooooo worth it! Ocean all around you! 3 miles to downtown Folly

Great views

Nice area of Folly and a house with great style. Property manager should take a walk through, some lights were flickering or completely out, and window curtains would be a nice addition, otherwise it was a great house. View is beautiful. House is spacious and has a great kitchen.

Mold - needs a lot of maintenance

Beautifully home but the mold was unbearable and a lot of maintenance is needed. The home has obviously had water infiltration that was not properly fixed. One of the girls has an allergy to mold and had difficulty the entire time we were there

Can't beat the location

The location and views were absolutely amazing, the house itself could use some tlc and updates. There were multiple outlets that did not work, the outside door lock to the porch did not work it and could not be opened from the outside, the door knob to the upstairs bathroom was also broken. If you have issues with stairs this house is not for you.

Thanksgiving weekend

Terrific home. As said before, stairs are challenging. Murphy beds are ok for family, but not private enough for friends. You will all have to share shower. Also bedroom windows face east, and there is NO coverings for the windows, so plan on the sun in your face when it rises. However it makes for a fantastic view. : Note to owner. Your cleaning service is suspect on a few items. No toilet paper except what was leftover from last guests. Second floor toilet not even a TP holder. Numerous lightbulbs are out and need to be replaced. Just small items that need attention. You also should alert guests that there is only a Kurig coffee maker in home. Home was clean. You might want to have your family stay there for a few days and see what needs repair or attention. Just a suggestion. With that said. Those are the most majestic views of the ocean we have experienced in a rental home.

Cool, quirky beach front house.

The Spanish House is unique. If you cannot handle stairs, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for beach front and you don't mind stairs or a little bit of mildew..this place is for you. The house itself definitely takes a hit from the wind/rain and you can see and smell water damage. Musty smell but we opened the doors and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. Views from every deck and window. Comfy beds, awesome showers and nice kitchen. The teens loved their level with their own deck. The adults loved the comfy den, deck and access to the beach. Folly was a fun town. Parking is a challenge but we figured it out. Teens loved to drive into town and get ice cream. We will come back for sure!

Great view but that's about it

If you want a place for the view then this is it, but this house needs a lot of updating! I can name off so many things but I will name off a few. The bathroom light upstairs did not work we had to use a flash light just to have light, the dish washer is pretty much useless! I understand that things happen but the house really needs an update! When you pay good money to stay in a house for two weeks you expect at least appliances to be in working conditions!

Wedding on Folly

My son was married on the beach in front of this beautiful Spanish home. It was the perfect backdrop for photos and the inside of the home was beautiful in every ornate way. The host was very chill and the Vrbo owner behind was also accommodating of our wedding day. They allowed us to use their patio furniture and were fun during our stay. Each morning I sat out on a balcony with my coffee listening to the waves. During the day we walked out to the beach with our body boards, bocce ball and sand toys. It was fun to ride e-bikes to Bert’s )a local market that is open 25 hours and has literally anything you want or need) At the end of the beach (1 mile from the Spanish House) is Morris Island Light house. It is a beach the is great for Dolphin viewing and fishing. I jogged around and met my husband each day there. He loves to fish. There is also a cool graffiti road leading to Morris Island. My son had our wedding guests venture there and sign his wedding guest book with spray paint. There is a ton to do in town. Lots of places to eat and some of our wedding guests did the escape room. We loved our stay and recommend it as the perfect vacation retreat or wedding venue for smaller weddings. There are a lot stairs…55 steps from top to bottom. My 80 year old mother had some difficulty. We enjoyed the way the home was split up. Each floor had a balcony to relax on. The kitchen was excellent. Plenty of space for family meals. We have stayed at many places. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous!

Beautiful home with fabulous location and view. King beds were very comfy, showers were amazing. I was sad to leave the shower with multiple heads including a rain style. Kitchen appliances all great, I’ve never seen this drawer style of microwave but it worked super well. Washer and dryer very nice. Yep, a ton of stairs as listing specifically states. I counted 56 from bottom to top. You can access roof but it’s a fixed ladder through a small hatch, not an area you would hang out in. But I took some amazing pics from up there. Patio furniture on every balcony and very comfy seating on porch/patio. Great swimming waves right out your door, just make sure you’re a strong swimmer. Cool to watch the surfers and ships coming and going from Charleston. Walked every morning down to the point and around, shells everywhere. Some previous reviews are critical of this house, we found it to be lovely. Of course it’s not perfect, it’s a beach rental! Would definitely recommend and book again!

Wowza!—and I’m picky

This was out of our budget but we saved extra and I do not have one single complaint about this property. It was breathtaking, and I felt like a princess in a castle the whole week. Here are some things you might want to know (but none of these things are a complaint): Sharks teeth! So many! Bring toilet paper. There was only one roll per bathroom for us for the week. If you are the type of person who washes dishes, bring some dishrags and some extra towels. These were minimal. (Plenty of paper towels there but we are more eco-friendly). There is no dish drainer. There are tons of nice pans, lovely large serving dishes, casseroles, etc. Knives are ok. Was glad I brought my own chef knife. Only a partial set of measuring spoons. There are no blinds on any of the ocean side windows if that sort of thing worries you. Most of the time the water is so close that no one could be out far enough to see in, so wasn’t an issue for us. Bathroom light on fourth floor still isn’t working, but we brought a battery lantern—problem solved. If you aren’t too squeamish to climb through the narrow passage to the roof, it is the best view on the whole island. The entry level is perfect for storing all your gear inside—beach chairs, towels, toys, bikes, etc. Bring all that—there are not towels or chairs, etc. It was nice not to have to find a place to set all that stuff in the “living area.” This is a one of a kind truly spectacular location. Can't wait to return to the Spanish House

This property is amazing. It is everything we were hoping for and more. We read every review on the house before we went and we were happy to see how many things were addressed that people complained about. There are a ton of light switches in the house, but they are labeled. Yes, a few did not work, but there was still plenty of light in the house. We received a document from Tyler with all the info of how to get into the house and what to do at checkout. Tyler is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Things were not as clean as some might like, but to be honest, I was too busy looking at the view to let it bother me. The views from this house can't be beat. You can be on the lower deck, a balcony on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor, or you can venture onto the roof for a 360 degree view (which I highly recommend for sunset). The two master bedrooms with its own bathroom and separate room with a full bed in it are great. One master is on the second floor and the other is on the fourth floor so if you have two families staying, it gives good privacy. We found the beds to be comfortable, but a little softer than we usual prefer. There are no dressers, but the closest have plenty of shelves to put things on. The bedroom windows are not covered (which was great for us to wake up and see the sunrise and ocean), but I could see where that might bother some. Both master bathrooms have two sinks, a separate toilet area and a huge walk in shower. The showers have a rain head, a regular shower head and jets. It is amazing. There was plenty of hot water as well. The living room/ kitchen/dining area on the third floor was comfortable and a good size. It also had a 1/2 bath. The dining room table seats 8. The living room had a couch, and four chairs. There is a fireplace for looks only- don't expect to have a fire. There were several board games and a puzzle provided which we found to be a nice touch. The kitchen is very well stocked. It had a Keurig, a regular coffee pot, a toaster oven, a toaster, a blender and plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and glasses- including coffee mugs and wine glasses. The only thing I did not find was measuring spoons and dry measuring cups. The lower level has a huge deck with many chairs and direct access to the beach. There’s a hose to rinse feet after returning from the beach. There are a lot of stairs. I counted a total of 56 from bottom to top. There are no bathtubs in the house.

Castle on the beach

This house is perfect! It offers privacy for a large family by having 4 separate sleeping areas in addition to the large kitchen and family room. The balcony decks on each floor and the rooftop provide amazing views. When you go outside, you are literally On The BEACH! Love this house and all that it has to offer. This is the second time that we stayed at this property. The first time things seemed pretty much perfect. This time, we noticed some basic wear and tear that would be simple to address to make the house amazing again. The air filters in the rooms were very dirty and needed to be changed and the 3rd floor bathroom had a very bad smell and some stains on the wall. The handle to the shower on the 3rd floor was falling off and the door to the 2nd floor bedroom with the murphy bed was not connected to the track. One of the stairs had broken tile on the edge. I also noticed that many of the smoke detectors were taken off the walls and missing.These are all part of basic maintenance and would be so easy to repair.
