Luxury Living Savannah's Washington Square Collection ligger på Savannahs pittoreska Washington Square 2 kvarter från River Street! Denna torg, uppkallad efter George Washington, ligger på Houston Street nära platsen för den gamla Trustees Garden.

Denna cirka 1790 - 1810 historiska Washington Square House är en "prisbelönad" historisk restaurering. Efter att ha ställt sig ledigt sedan 1992 behöll mirakulöst de allra flesta av sina ursprungliga detaljer! Det ursprungliga trapphuset, hjärta tallgolv, alla dörrar och hårdvaror, fönster, pärlskivor med skärm, eldstäder och mantlar, etc, etc.

Den noggranna restaureringen genomfördes med strikta riktlinjer som lagts fram av Department of Natural Resource i Washington D. C. Dessa riktlinjer följdes för att rädda hemets historiska integritet och dess betydande bidrag till Savannahs landmärke historiska distrikt. Allt detta och och 2 kvarter till River Street!

Ingen kostnad sparades för den korrekta moderniseringen av denna historiska egendom. Helt utrustat gourmetkök med ösittplatser för 3 personer ligger bredvid den formella matsalen med plats för upp till 8 matgäster. Vardagsrummet har en stor smart-TV för gruppunderhållning med historiskt påverkade möbler. Det avslappnade Sun Room har utsikt över den lugna innergården och fontänen för att njuta av uteservering och koppla av. De 4 sovrummen har alla badrum, rymliga badrum!

Och bara några steg bort har du ytterligare två sovrum och 2 badrum i det privata vagnshuset. Vagnhuset är en fristående stuga bakom huvudhuset med egen privat ingång utanför körfältet. Det ligger på andra våningen över garaget. Liksom alla vagnshus i Savannah, är vagnshuset där föraren bodde på 1800-talet ovanför hästar och vagnar som de tog hand om.

Perfect location

Such a great house and carriage appendix! Lots of old school charm and nicely remodeled bathrooms! Epic location and easy walking distance to all the places. Really enjoyed the courtyard. This property was everything we wanted and needed.

Charming and Perfect

We had a wonderful time in Savannah for my daughter’s wedding. The home was excellent. From the minute we walked in the front door we felt at home. Plenty of space to be together and as needed time alone. We would all highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home, great location. Our group loved int.

The bedrooms are big, quiet, and everyone enjoyed a private, remodeled bathroom. Plenty of room in the house for nine seniors to move around, enjoy talking or just being quiet. The courtyard was a favorite for breakfast. Right off Washington Square, and an easy walk to River Street and Broughton shopping district. The house is right on the hop-on hop-off tour bus route. Two garage spaces were very convenient. The house is beautiful and was perfect for us, but it's time for some TLC: scrape and paint exterior, fix some falling cabinet doors, update dishwasher. Suzanne was great to work with.

Weekend getaway.

We rented both main house and carriage house for the weekend and was very pleased with the lodging. Parking was an issue due to limited availability and small alleyway access. The welcome book was very detailed but did lean moreso to a rules and regulation standard operating procedures guidebook rather than an informative insight to the property and city of Savannah. The historic charm was truely the highlight of the weekend as this property does deliver. Neighbors are welcoming and were a pleasure to correspond with. The home being off the main roadway did make for a quiet nights rest. I overall do want thank the owner and VRBO for the opportunity to stay in such an historic charm.

Perfection!

My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. The house and location were perfect. We were within walking distance to restaurants and the riverfront, and yet we felt secluded and private. The courtyard area was an extra bonus. We enjoyed family conversation and games there. In the morning the birds seemed to enjoy the area, also! They serenaded us with song. ☺️

Savannah Girls Trip

Amazing location!! We walked just about everywhere. We had a twelve woman girls trip and this house fit us perfect. There was a tiny problem with one of the brand new AC units but Suzanne took care of it within a day. Suzanne had great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Even a personal chef! We used all 6 bedrooms and each bedroom has a separate bathroom. Perfect place for us. we would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great trip

A group of 12 stayed here. The house is great and had ample room for all of us. Close to restaurants and shops so were were able to walk to everything. Owner was very quick to reply to a plumbing issue and sent a repair person immediately. A great way to spend a few days enjoying Savannah!

WOW!!

This property is truly amazing. The location could not be better - within walking distance of everything, yet far enough away from the action at night so you get a good night sleep. The amenities and furnishings were very suitable and it was SUPER CLEAN. The property manager was prompt on all communications and was very accommodating to all requests. This is a must stay property for anyone looking to enjoy Savannah.

Gem of a rental in a great location

Fantastic property well located for exploring Savannah on foot. We rented both the house and carriage house which gave us full access to the courtyard as well. Home was spotless when we arrived and nicely furnished and appointed. Binder with recommendations was very helpful though it lists more options than we could explore in a long weekend! Definitely recommend this rental for a group or large family.

The home and carriage house were very nice. Only complaint was the temperature in the home got a little warm. The thermostats were set to 72 and would not change.

Great Victorian Home

A group of us stayed at this home and it is super charming, very spacious and so lovely. The furniture is very victorian and each of the rooms has its own bathroom, which was a lifesaver with 10 people staying. The carriage house is super cute and has it's own little kitchen, it's basically a small apartment. Everything went well, the only minor thing is that the lockbox is a little hard to open and close, not sure if a bigger one should be placed but that is minor. Overall, I highly recommend this home and it's walking distance to everything!! I would rent this in a heartbeat. Loved it from beginning to end.

Fantastic Location

I can't say enough great things about our experience here. First, the location is perfect, you're within a 15 minute walk to everything in Downtown Savannah. The house is beautiful and wonderfully maintained with everything you need, including a cool courtyard. The extra apartment above the garage allowed us to spread out a bit instead of all cramming into one place. If my group returns to Savannah, this will be the first place we look to stay.

Wonderful Savannah Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautifully restored 4 bedroom/4 bath house with a 2 bedroom/2 bath carriage house above the garage. We had a large party and rented the entire property. The bedrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The attention to detail explains why the owner has been recognized by the Savannah Historical Society. We didn’t cook but we could have.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is stunning, pictures do not do it justice! We had a group of 11 adults, everyone had plenty of space with 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. The location of the home was perfect to walk out the door to shops, restaurants and all the historic places. The only minor inconvenience was getting an early check-in at 3pm. When we arrived the cleaners were still there but they quickly had the place ready and the property manager did apologize.
