Double King Cabin - Royal Gorge Cabins

Royal Gorge Cabins ligger precis tillräckligt långt i Rocky Mountains för att erbjuda en autentisk Colorado-upplevelse, men ändå nära till en mängd olika spännande utomhusäventyr och attraktioner. Beläget bara en timme från Colorado Springs och några minuter utanför Cañon City, är fokusen på våra stugor att ge dig en unik logiupplevelse.

Vår dubbelsäng har två sovrum med en king size-säng och platt-TV med kabel. Det stora badrummet har ett regnduschhuvud i spa-stil och golv till takplattor. Halva badrummet är precis utanför det andra våningen sovrummet. Köket har kylskåp och frys, diskbänk, mikrovågsugn, spis med två brännare och kaffebryggare med gratis kaffe. Vardagsrummet har en soffa, storbilds-TV, samt en eldstad som kan avnjutas inifrån eller utanför på den privata uteplatsen. Double King Cabin har högst 4 gäster.

Fun place

We loved the two sided fireplace! Everything was very well appointed and comfortable. We loved all the grasses blowing in the wind! It was so fun that our cabin was named Sunshine. That is my nickname so we were so excited! Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Love Lesley,Lisa and Missy

Trip to the Royal Gorge

We really enjoyed our cabin, however we did have some issues. The upstairs bedroom was extremely hot. We went to the office to inquire about it and the took my number and said they would be in contact about a fan. They never followed up at all and we had to go to Walmart and purchase a fan ourselves for the cabin. The office also seemed really stingy with toilet paper. We had four people staying and we still had a day left and less than half a roll for two bathrooms. When we went to the office, they seemed reluctant to give us two rolls for each bathroom. Other than that, it was a beautiful cabin in a nice location for rafting. However, I don't know if it was worth the price tag that it came with.

Windy night

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed to have a windy night so we could not enjoy the outdoors for most of the evening. However, when it was calm, we did not sit outside because the table was filthy. Sadly, if the weather is bad, the interior does not really accommodate 4 adults for eating, playing cards or games. There was also a blind missing from across the bed in the upstairs room. Finally, grass being mowed at 7am Saturday morning was rather disruptive to the morning. But there were many wonderful things as well, including very comfortable beds and pillows, loved the hammock and the fireplace.

I loved the property. We locked ourselves out as the door automatically locks when closing, minutes after office closed. They came back from home to let us back in. ❤️

Quality & Cleanliness

Initially thought price was a little high, but completely worth it because the quality and cleanliness were excellent. Although, offering a military discount would have been nice.

Great place

Everything was great. Only issue was the privacy of the patios and no fan upstairs. Awesome atmosphere and surrounding town.

Modern and Cozy

Very convenient to town, the Gorge, and outdoor activities, this cabin is modern, very comfortable, and seems secluded with lovely views from the patio. The indoor/outdoor fireplace is lovely and welcoming. Small kitchen is just fine for a short stay and simple cooking (no oven), but the place is so convenient to town, going out is easy and worth it to experience the town. One thing is, VRBO will not give you entry code or your specific unit. You'll have to stop in the office to pick up your info and register. Not a problem but I didn't realize it, so was kind of nervous that I received no info. Only nits are that it is a bit bright at night because the lights outside do not dim or go out (at least as far as I could tell). All in all, we loved the place and would return to enjoy it again.
