Would stay again

Overall the stay was very pleasant. The owner communicated quickly and efficiently, the room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The hotel itself was very nice, clean and had a plethora of restaurant choices on property. The location was perfect as you have beach access and the pools were heated which was great given the cool temps.

Excellent unit in Tresor Tower

We've stayed in several units in Tresor Tower. This unit is by far the nicest! Large sitting area, beautiful spacious bathroom and an amazing view! Will definitely stay here again!

Miami Beach Stay

Our stay was fine - the room was spacious. The bed and couch were not overly comfortable and there were a few dishes for the kitchenette (that had a stovetop) but nothing to cook with, which was limiting. Despite not requesting housekeeping to keep costs lower, they came and we had charges for cleaning on 2 separate days, that we ended up having to work with the hotel to correct. The hotel itself was very large with lots of amenities and all the staff were very kind, the elevators were slow at times (consistent with what the listing says). The shared pool areas were sometimes overly crowded with unsupervised children. There were lots of restaurants in the hotel, which had very good food and drinks. The location had nice access to the boardwalk, but is about 2-3 miles north of south beach area so a bit of a trek to get to more activities outside the hotel.

Elevator Chaos

I’m not the type to complain online but this situation annoyed me. The Tresor Tower has two working elevators and two out of service elevators. May not seem like a big deal. However with a packed hotel getting an elevator at times took 30-40 minutes. I asked a few of the staff and they said the elevator has been down for some time. Obviously they knew about this and should have disclosed this to give someone the option of chewing up time waiting for an elevator after the pool it was next to impossible to get out of the lobby as massive amounts of people would be waiting there. The room itself was nice. Great view. If you are going to book FB. Which I recommend you do as it is an amazing property. I would not book the Tresor tower without ensuring the elevator situation is resolved.

Great location, property is run down. Service is medicore.

The Fountainbleu Hotel is very nice but the service is lackluster and even worse in the Tresor tower. Good luck getting a response from the property management regarding this property. With all the great management companies to choose from not sure why they use this one. maybe they get a special rate or controlled by the hotel. and then even great location in the heart of everything you want to do but I would not rent this unit again unless it was the only thing left in Miami, and that's what happened for Super Bowl weekend
