Välkommen till Powder Haus. Ett hem designat för att låta dig uppleva allt det fantastiska pulvret som Kicking Horse Mountain Resort har att erbjuda. Skid höger till den specialdesignade skidörren som leder till ett område som är designat för din skidutrustning med skidställ, bagage / handsktork, bänkar för att ta av utrustning och en torktumlare för att torka dina våta kläder.

Powder Haus är ett helt nytt modernt hus i den exklusiva Cedars-utvecklingen vid basen på Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Fyra sovrum inklusive 3 master sviter med king size-sängar, garderober (två walk-ins), badrum med eget badrum (en dubbel åtkomst från resten av hemmet). Fjärde sovrummet är en våningssäng med 4 stora våningssängar och dedikerad garderob. Alla rum har mjuka premium duntäcken, egyptiska bomullslakan och premiumkuddar för en fantastisk och bekväm nattsömn.
Mediarummet har en drottningsbar soffa och angränsande badrum samt stor platt-TV med blu-ray-spelare, satellit-DVR och soundbar. Stadshusens bottenvåning har ett stort garage med utökad längd, skidrum med skidställ och bagageutrymme, entré / lera rumsområde perfekt för start och förvaring av skidkläder och tvättmöjligheter. Det finns två sovrum på denna nivå. Sovrummen innehåller king size-sängar med premiumsängkläder och kuddar, stora garderober, eget badrum, platt-TV och satellit-TV. Privat badrummen har fåfänga, full dusch och uppvärmda golv.

Övre våningen innehåller det moderna köket med sit-up bar, stort kylskåp, spishäll, ugn, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, skafferi och alla moderna köksapparater för den kräsna kocken. Precis utanför köket finns den stora matplatsen med 8 personer matbord och ljuskronan ovan. Bredvid matplatsen finns det stora vardagsrummet med sektionssoffa, gasspis och stor platt-TV med blu-ray-spelare, satellit-DVR och surroundljudmottagare. Precis utanför vardagsrummet finns ett öppet kontorsarbetsområde. På övre våningen finns ett stort däck som går från ena änden av övre våningen till den andra. Den har en 4-personers badtunna, stor gourmet BBQ-grill och vacker utsikt. Det finns ett halvt badrum precis utanför köket och skafferi.

Amazing Property

We came up for a family wedding and we couldn't have been happier. Attention to detail was best of all the VRBOs we have stayed at. Property was perfect, clean and had everything we needed. Views were amazing and just being in the mountains was amazing. If we ever go back to Golden, this is the place for us.

Great house but..

The house itself is beautiful, but there are some discrepancies between the listing and the actual experience. While the listing states the house sleeps 12, only 10 adults are allowed, despite there being enough beds for 12.Upon booking, I received immediate confirmation from VRBO. However, the host then required us to fill out a form detailing the name, profession, age, and marital status of every guest before our stay was officially confirmed. The host also needed to know if anyone in the group was getting married in the next year (does not allow bachelor weekends). This felt unnecessarily intrusive, and our reservation was initially denied because I was not explicit enough with who was dating who.Additionally, one of the bedrooms was locked from the inside upon arrival, and despite reaching out, the host never responded. Thankfully, we were able to unlock it with a hair pin.There are also strict rules, including a curfew and a camera facing the hot tub, maximum number of "single males". The ski-in/ski-out access is not as convenient as advertised and does not easily allow for quick stops back at the house.Overall, the property is lovely, but clearer communication and more accurate listing details would greatly improve the experience.

Great stay at Kicking Horse!

The entire area is a hidden gem and this home was no exception. Located in a quaint, new area just a few minutes drive to the base of Kicking Horse, this home was a treat to come back to after a long day skiing. It was very clean, spacious, and had nice views from the hot tub. The boot dryer in the garage was a nice perk. Thanks for hosting us for a few days, we hope to be back in the future!

The property is new and very nice. Very good attention to detail for skiers, lots of shelves and hooks at the entry for boots and skiwear. The kitchen and pantry are very well equipped. Top notch TVs and provider with plenty of HD sports channels. We really liked the layout of the upper level with kitchen, dining & TV/fireplace all together and open. Nice new outdoor hot tub with great views of the mountains. Unfortunately snow conditions were poor when we were there Jan30-Feb2 with marginal skiing on the lower mountain and the ski in/out essentially closed so unable to comment on that. Also we were not given the access code prior to check-in time (5pm) and the PM did not respond to emails (VRBO app chat) or voice messages left on his contact number (which is a USA number, most inconvenient as most phone plans will incur a charge). I called VRBO directly and they were eventually able to trigger the PM to send me the access code. Thus we had a rough start to our trip and not great ski conditions but everyone really enjoyed the house and we would certainly stay again.

Amazing space close to the hill

We do an annual ski trip every year, and this year we picked Kicking Horse. The place looked great in the photos, and we were excited to experience the mountain. Unfortunately, we received a message the night before we checked in stating there was a problem with the unit. Gabriel immediately found us an alternative place in the same area. After some confusion and stress, we found the place and settled in. These units are incredible! The pictures don’t do it justice. The ski out is manageable, and the ski in is right to the door. Thank you to a great host who worked swift and hard to make our trip happen. Definitely recommend.

Great Winter Getaway

The accommodations were perfect for 3 families with little ones (4 kiddos under 3). The two master closets fit the pack and plays so it was like babies were in their own bedroom. Pictures and description were accurate and don't do the property justice. Kitchen was well stocked, very clean and the beds and linens were very high end. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Hot tub with great mountain views. We all snowboard so the ski in/out was a bit too flat for us (the video accurately reflects the terrain so we knew this at time of booking). Despite this, we could easily drive to Kicking Horse Resort - drive is less than 2 minutes. If you are skiing you will have no issue. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider staying again and making this trip an annual tradition. Would recommend!

Amazing Family Getaway!

Although I had been to Golden many times in the winter, this was my first in the summer but it will not be my last! Myself and my family (grandma, teens, adults, and kids!) ALL thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Powder Haus. With so many thoughtful touches throughout the home, it really made it feel like a home to create lasting memories in. Some of my favorites were: the baskets of outdoor patio slippers/towels, the ample kitchen spices (usually spice selection is slim in vaction rentals) and the well laid out instruction book for all things regarding the home. (we needed a couple of us to tackle the tv and all the remotes to put on something for grandma to watch.) The kids loved the outlets and personal lights in each bunk bed! Those staying in the cool basement may find the 4 flights of stairs up to the kitchen a bit tough after a long day of hiking. But the hot tub would make you forget all those sore muscles, great it was visible from the kitchen. All the rooms were spacious, the decor was simple, and the premium finishes didn't go unnoticed. 5 stars across the board! As our first gathering post covid, the home truly made it that much more special, we can't wait to return!

3 story town home. Top level has kitchen, living room and deck with hot tub.main floor has 2 master suites, large boot room and single car garage. Basement stairs enter living area with adjoining master suite and bunk room. Everything was as promised and place clean and fairly new. Very hot couple of summer days with no a/c, house cooled down nicely with windows open. Good water pressure for showers. Gas stove. All in all nice Vrbo.

Golden getaway

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The driveway and garage were a little narrow but still able to park our car and truck with trailer. We had a fantastic family getaway and enjoyed the skiing as well as sledding. Thanks for the memories.

Amazing mountain house

This place is fantastic. Expansive kitchen and living space with lots of room for the family. Well stocked and easy to use. The hot tub is a bonus after a long day on the mountain. I couldn’t figure out the stereo system so make sure you have back up music. Note: there is a camera above the hot tub.

Excellent property

Definitely a perfect place for our family for a week of skiing. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen and living area was perfect for a relaxing evening after a day on the hill.

Amazing Property

We had a pretty good experience with the property as well as the property manager. Highly recommend this property for guests traveling to Golden for a weekend or more. We'd love to stay here in one of the winters.

Great views, great hot tub and great set up

Really nice to have each room as a master room so everyone got there own bathroom and shower. Large space, technically it’s a townhouse but feels more like a detached house, only touching wall is the basement to the garage. Was a great location for biking for us.
