The cabin was very cozy and inviting. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I do not usually sleep well away from home, but I did here. I loved the red decor in the kitchen, We cooked quite a few of our meals there, and it worked well. We had everything that we needed.Carol is a gracious host and very available by email for questions. I would recommend this place to others for a comfortable and fair-priced accommodation.The bear themed kitchen towel that we got to take home delighted me.She is attentive to details.

A great spot in Arnold

The cabin had everything one might need. We had a comfortable stay and the proximity to hikes, state parks, and a handful of restaurants was a huge plus. Highly recommended.

The cabin has everything we needed aha was put together in such a thoughtful way. We really appreciated how hard the hosts went to make us feel comfortable and at home. From the electric mattress warmer to the quality kitchen supplies, it was easy to see that the hosts truly care about providing an exceptional experience. This is a region we frequent and we have already decided that this will be our go to rental when we visit.

We really enjoyed the cabin. Loved the outside deck for night sky viewing and all the animals we saw. The cabin was comfortable and loved the heated beds! Such a great location and Carol was great!

Quiet and Peaceful

The cabin was just as advertised and in a great location near highway 4, but far enough away from the highway for it to be quiet and tranquil. The deck is great for enjoying coffee in the morning and listening to the sounds of nature.

Cozy clean cabin

We loved our stay! The cabin was very clean and fully stocked with utilities, board games, cleaning supplies and towels/blankets. We really enjoyed how the property was tucked away from the main road which made it quiet and a more enjoyable stay (quiet nights and mornings). We highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful time at Brown Bear Hideaway

We had a wonderful time at Brown Bear hideaway in Arnold. We were looking to go on a weekend getaway with our new baby girl and this was the perfect spot. Carol was a wonderful host and made sure the cabin was spotless and made sure we a keyless handoff.

Home from home

Brown Bear Hideaway is like home from home. We've stayed 5-6 times now, whether visiting in summer or winter we have always has a fabulous time and the house is always clean, tidy, comfortable & well equipped.
