Fishing Vacation

Perfect and comfortable. Was able to eat all my meals and have coffee at the cottage. Quiet location and in a perfect spot to visit several fishing spots within minutes. This was the second time staying here. Communication with the host was always pleasant. Thanks

Anniversary

I’m writing for my husband. My husband and I stayed from July 30th- August 2nd for our anniversary . We looked at many other places and had to plan accordingly it is hard to do so with 4 kids! We have been going to Montauk for about 15 years and this was by far the best trip we have ever been on there. When we arrived we were able to meet Louis who was so warm and friendly! The house is so clean and welcoming. I loved everything about it! The bed was so comfortable, I haven’t slept that good in along time. The ACs worked superb and it made it so comfortable after a long day out. The backyard was so cute and the lights in the back added a cozy feeling. We rode bikes into town day and night , as well as the beach and having the house so close was absolutely amazing. We watched the sunset every night and our final day we watched the sunrise. I did not want to leave !! We have used Vbro for many years and Dana was by far the best! She is an absolute fantastic host so kind and thoughtful and so easy to get in touch with and easy to talk to. She did everything to accommodate us we couldn’t have asked for anything more! I cannot wait to get back to this little slice of heaven.

Great location, cute house

We stayed here for 3 nights with my family of 4 (two teen boys). With a twin air mattress we were able to sleep 4 no problem. The house is so cute and nicely decorated, and a great quick walk or bike ride to town. We had a lot of fun exploring the area, and it was great to have a kitchen to grab a quick breakfast before heading out or to pack sandwiches for the beach for lunch. The outside space is nicely done as well and we enjoyed sitting outside one evening.

Cute little house

We had a great time. It’s had all the comforts of home away from home. Love the privacy. Easy walk to town. Food was great. Dana was awesome. Very helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great Deal , Cozy Spot , great location

Five stars ....Dana was super nice and helpful. The Cottage was cozy , private and walking distance to beach, stores , restaurants and town. If you want to grill or use kitchen there is everything you need to make it happen. If you want to buy fresh lobster to make at home call Bennet seafood. Highly recommended! Nice clean and refinished bathroom . Good AC and Comfy bed. Thanks Dana

Amazing place in Montauk! So happy with my stay here, the cottage was great and had all that you needed! Great backyard area for BBQ. So close to town and the beach Dana was helpful with any questions and was very quick to respond I can’t wait to stay here again!

Perfect cottage for couple, short walk to town

My fiancé and I enjoyed our 5 night stay at Dana’s cottage. The interior is well maintained and was very comfortable. The property is in a very preferable location — a short 10 minute walk to town/beach and 5 minute walk to Surf Lodge. We hope to stay again next year!

Perfect Little Spot-Perfectly located

We booked this cottage last minute for a family celebration. Other family was staying at the Montauk Manor which is right up the road, but I'm not into hotels and wanted my own space with my husband and son. We brought our bikes and didn't even know there was a bike with the cottage. It worked out so well because my niece ended up staying with us (instead of her hotel) and was able to ride the extra bike. The house is everything you need, nothing you don't need. I couldn't believe how the bathroom was stocked. And there were plenty of clean beach towels. The futon was just big enough for my niece to sleep on-she said it was comfortable. Keyless entry was perfect for not having to worry about losing a key while on adventures. The location is perfect-you can ride/walk to town within a few minutes. We also biked north to The Dock for lunch one morning. In short, this was a gem of a property. We've been going out to Montauk for decades, and I'm so glad we found this place. Thank you to Dana for being very responsive and for maintaining such a cute little spot.

The place is great for two people, great location and overall nice but there is no table at which to eat and the couch (futon) is unbearable, and we didn’t know there was no working oven until after we paid

5 nights Montauk - perfect 1 bedroom “salt box”

Thank you Dana for sharing your home with us. Everything was perfect. Comfortable, quiet location, close to everything .4 miles from town/beach, .3 miles to Surf Lodge, Air Co was perfect 90+ outside, gas bbq, washer/dryer, plus so much more, better than a hotel room. Also, hurricane moved off shore, lost power at the house, thank you for letting us know and keeping us informed, we did not take out insurance and Dana was so wonderful, offered us an extra night due to the storm, we did not even ask, So much appreciated. We had beach chairs, coolers, kayaks and bikes left them in the back, by the patio for the stay, no issues at all, very safe location having the keyless entry was awesome, no need to carry keys. Dana thank you so much looking forward to coming back. have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend, Victor

Ideal Location

The house is very cute. The price cannot be beat! The location is perfect (5-10 minute walk to town and the beach) and it's very easy to get anywhere you would want to in Montauk. The host, Dana, was very responsive. I had a slight issue with the AC upon my arrival and she fixed the issue within an hour of my call. That was great! It would be comfortable for a couple, but I don’t think the space is big enough for more than 2. Two slight concerns that I do think could be easily resolved. First, the bedroom is a bit musty. I think this may be an issue with the AC, but I am not certain. Second, I do think the futon in the living area should be replaced. There is not enough room for a proper table, so this became the default seating area in the house. Alas, the futon is fairly worn. Finally, for dining in Montauk, we had a great meal at Muse at the End. We also had a good meal at South Edison. Have fun!
