Renoverad 2017, är Blue Oak Cottage charmig men med moderna bekvämligheter. Beläget på en pittoresk trädkantad gata, är stugan bekvämt beläget några kvarter gångavstånd från Donnelly Street och downtown Mount Dora. Stugan är fullt möblerad, 650 kvm boyta med ett välutrustat kök, frukostkrok, full storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare, vardagsrum, 1 sovrum och 1 badrum. Utomhus inkluderar en 200 kvm skärmad veranda med möbler och en separat, asfalterad uteplats med Adirondack stolar och en kolgrill. En queen size-säng och utfällbar soffa rymmer upp till 4 gäster. Ägaren bor på plats, i huvudhemmet.

Perfection in Every Detail

Absolutely incredible stay! I have pretty high standards when it comes to vacation rentals, and this charming little cottage completely blew me away. It was immaculate, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully stocked with absolutely everything you could need, and then some. The extra touches throughout made it feel especially welcoming and truly above and beyond.The location was fantastic, just a short pleasant walk (under 10 minutes) to downtown with sidewalks almost the entire way. We also loved taking the provided bikes out for a relaxing ride on another day.This was the perfect getaway in every way. We can’t wait to come back!

Sweet Cottage

Exceptional VRBO. It had everything you might need for a week stay. Close to virtually everything, one or two miles. Very quiet and clean with super air conditioning. Theresa and Todd are great hosts.

Perfect Cottage

Great location, easy to get downtown and to the lake. Owners were fantastic, we were able to check in early and check out late. Everything in the cottage was fantastic and thoughtfully planned out. Will always recommend and stay on any other trip to Mt Dora

Lovely cottage in a great location

The Blue Oak cottage was adorable, clean, cozy and very well stocked. The hosts put a lot of love and care into the place, and we had everything we needed for a perfect visit. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the screened porch - just lovely!

Bucket List Visit

I am battling Stage 4 Cancer and am enjoying life to the fullest! As a Floridian, I have never been to Mt Dora and always wanted to visit. Well, I picked (by chance) the MOST awesome little cottage. There isn't enough space here to express the extraordinary attention to detail Teresa and Todd have provided! I must say that I enjoyed a couple of the best nights' sleep I've had in a very long time. I visited all the shops I wanted and brought back some of the cutest things so that I can remember this trip. And truth be told, I snapped a couple of pictures of the interior of the cottage so that I can steal some of the owners' decorating ideas! I would gladly stay here again, but if I can't, I can honestly recommend this little piece of heaven!!!!

Outstanding Accommodations

Blue Oak Cottage is a beautiful home away from home. We appreciated the exquisite wine awaiting us. The cottage is full of lovely books and paintings, including a colorful tropical scene which looks to be painted by local artist Jane Slivka who has a gallery downtown. Blue Oak Cottage engages all your senses from the moment you enter the garden. Most of our visit, the weather was a little too cool to really enjoy the charming outdoor setting, but we reveled in our last evening’s candlelit supper on the screened porch. Very romantic, especially with the magnificent Angels’ Trumpet flowers blooming nearby. We only met Todd briefly, but Teresa responded almost immediately to any text or to pop over when asked from their home immediately in front of the cottage. She is a ray of sunshine. Away from the cottage, we loved taking the catboats, speeding across Lake Dora and idling quietly underneath the Cypress trees lining the jungle-like Dora Canal. Mount Dora is full of wonderful and diverse restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Mount Dora Bistro with its French vibe and charming owner, John, and the Goblin Market with its stunning hanging flowers on its dining porch. When we walked to town, “Rooster” was a hoot, giving us a ride back to the cottage in his golf cart. What a great, fun service that operates for tips only. Thank you Teresa and Todd for everything and more.

Christmas time in Mount Dora

What a wonderful stay we had at the Blue Oak cottage! This property is everything it showed in the pictures. I was impressed at how clean and tidy it was with everything labeled so we never ran into any issues. The proximity to downtown was perfect for us close enough to bike or a walk. We look forward to coming back next year.

This is my new home away from home when visiting Mt. Dora! The sttention to detail and location to downtown are spot-on. Brought my 2 dogs who enjoyed their walks along the peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend this listing to all.

The Shower!

I had a perfect experience and I didn't want to leave! This is a great one-bedroom place with a very cool screened porch that I used daily. The owners have gone to so much trouble to make this place special and have thought of everything. The best part? The shower! It's a roomy walk-in with gallons of hot water and great water pressure. I can't say enough good things about this cottage. Check it out!

Better than perfect!

This was our third stay at this adorable cottage, and it just keeps getting better! Our hosts, Teresa and Todd do everything they can to make sure our stay is as enjoyable as possible. The cottage is so comfortable and cozy and is decorated beautifully. And as for amenities, they have thought of EVERYTHING! If you’re looking for something, they’ve provided it. As for location, the cottage is just a short walk into downtown Mount Dora and all the shops and dining, yet it’s tucked away on a quiet residential street in a peaceful neighborhood. The large screened patio is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the evening or a glass of wine or a meal. This is a place that we will return to time after time and we highly recommend this beautiful cottage for your stay in Mount Dora!

Wonderful Cottage

Wonderful, cozy and exceptionally clean cottage. Everything furnished you would need. The owners were extremely nice and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this wonderful Cottage which is located 5 minutes to downtown Mount Dora.

First time to Mount Dora

This was our first time to Mount Dora and we were just getting away for the weekend and looking for a place to stay. This unit is an amazing unit with a close proximity to downtown as well as several restaurants. The owners Todd & Teresa had the unit set up with everything you might need and even some that you didn't know that you need. The unit is clean, nice sized, well decorated, and very comfortable. From the unit it was and easy walk to anything in town so we pretty much parked our car and didn't use it until we left. If and when we go back to Mount Dora we would definitely go back here again if the unit is available.

Absolutely perfect!

Everything about this property was perfect! The attention to detail was unbelievable. Everything you could possibly need or want was at your disposal. Loved the adorable town of Mount Dora- downtown was in easy walking ( or biking) distance. Great restaurants and breweries( with some impressive live music) all close by! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us- it was such a fun anniversary weekend!

Adorable Little Cottage

The cottage was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked with everything you would need. We have used VRBO for years and this was at the top of our list. It is so adorable and perfect for a couple. It is close to historic Mt. Dora with restaurants, bars and shopping. Teresa and Todd are great hosts. They provided us with so much information prior to our arrival. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Cute cottage

The cottage was well organized, cute, clean and a short walk to several restaurants. It’s walkable to historic downtown, but wear comfortable shoes because it’s a hike. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this cute cottage.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I both grew up in Florida; however, life moved us around the United States as we finished school, my husband served in the military, and we followed our careers as a pilot and nurse. Now back in Florida, we fell in love with the small-town charm of Mount Dora, with the amenities of Orlando not too far away.

From Renningers Antique Center and Flea Market down to the small bakeries and coffee shops of downtown, my husband and I are in love with the Mount Dora!
