Location is great!

Overall great stay and great place. I would say that the sheets for the pull out couches are not good. Didn’t fit and were dirty. Bought my own from the store for the stay and brought them home.

Great location, unfortunate construction

Al was great, very responsive to any issues that came up. And you can’t beat the proximity to beach and bay. Just one issue that was out of his control. There was a construction project going on right outside the window with beeping vehicles all day long. Would have a appreciated a heads up before check in.

Weekend with Family

Well located house with spaces and amenities as advertised making for a comfortable and enjoyable long weekend. The manager communicated well, instructions were clear, and the one problem we discovered was quickly remediated.

Always a nice stay

This is our second year renting this beach house. The location is perfect. 30 seconds to the beach. A 10 minute walk down to Belmont Park and a short drive to all our favorite local eateries and coffee shops. The house is large and the price pretty reasonable for a 3 bed 3 bath house that close to the beach. Yes it could use a little updating but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. We would rent this particular place again.

Finally found a place to come back to!

We spend time in Mission Beach each year with the family and this was perfect. Comfortable beds, plenty of room, good set up, the best location and best of all it was exceptionally clean! Nothing fancy, just well kept, nice, and comfortable. Location was perfect, close to beach and bay. Parking: no problems with our Jeep Compas and son in law easily backed in Honda Pilot. Boogie boards, chairs, beach items for kids. Had to figure out the A/C but worked great. Al, the owner was very responsive and good to communicate with. P.S. there is a cabinet behind the stools where you will find some nice kitchen appliances including an electric can opener! We have all agreed that this is the place for us. Looking forward to booking this next year.

Good location, ac and 3 full baths

Ideal for 3 couples because of 3 full baths and plenty of gathering space inside and outside. About 4 blocks away was an overnite parking lot for excess vehicles. Parking is usually an issue in mission but the parking lot always had space. Kitchen was well equipped and pans were in great condition

have stayed here before, nice place to stay with family, location is good, short walk to ocean. no issues to speak of, just tight parking space for larger vehicles such as SUV or full size trucks.

close to everything and steps to beach and bay side coffee pot didn’t work and al had a new one to us in under an hour. bikes in working order, beach chairs and anything for the beach is there to use. great stay

Excellent stay

Very nice property that is convenient to beach and bay. We were in town for my son's retirement from the Navy and the location was perfect. Al was a great host and even made special arrangements for our 12 passengers bus parking. Parking is a premium and the tandem garage was nice for my son's car when he visited. I would highly recommend this property when you are visiting San Diego.

Everything you need is there. The property is old and could use some upgrading. The carpet is worn, a couple of light switches worn, but the beds are great and the bathrooms are rooming and modern.

South Mission Vacation

Right on the boulevard, just a few steps to the beach. Lots of room nicely furnished. Due to unforeseen events, we could not have our family there, but friends joined us for dinner and a night. Everything was as advertised ot better. Parking is tricky at first, but easy after you learn the ropes.

Everything was as listed. We loved how close to the beach this location was . We had an issue with parking our oversized van in the garage, but was so grateful that the property Manager came by and offered us a spot very close on his property. Thank you

Great Family Getaway!

This property is in a great location! Minutes (walking on semi private pathway) to the beach in one direction, and the bay in the other. Close enough to food places and Belmont Park to walk. Three full baths a plus, although 1st floor shower can run out of hot water. Okay if you are quick! Bathrooms all updated and are very nice! Had a flat tire on one of the provided bikes, and the owner was quick to respond. Some of the furnishings are a bit older, but this is a Family Friendly rental, not the Ritz!! A great value for the price! 2 car tandem garage is good for mid size or smaller vehicles. We parked our SUV in it the 1st night, but then opted for street parking after, because it was just a bit too tight. Would definately stay here again!

Great location!

The home was clean and the proximity to the beach was great! Street noise was a little loud. The home is a little outdated and could use some updating in furnishings but we still had a wonderful time.

Fantastic location for a family trip

Fantastic location. The kids and adults had so much to do within walking distance. Felt very safe and relaxed. Disappointed by the bikes available for use. They are horribly rusted and in poor shape.

Great location in proximity to the beach!

This property is nice for a beach rental. As other reviewers have said, it is close to the street so you get some street noise. Not a problem for us as we sleep with a noise machine. A 2 minute walk to the beach which was super convenient. Lots of space for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids. Perfect size. Kitchen didn't have really any extras besides salt and pepper. Fridge was HUGE! Tandem garage worked for our 2 full size cars. Would have been nervous to have SUVs. Laundry does require coins. Overall great stay and would stay again!

Property Manager Responsive

We enjoyed our stay and Al was very responsive to our needs. Our unit was spacious and in a great location a short walk to the beach. We loved sitting in the sunshine on the patio!
