Cozy cottage was the perfect spot! It is very well appointed and had everything we needed. Alina was responsive when we had questions and very graciously left a treat when we arrived. We all enjoyed time at the creek behind the house and it was a great home base for exploring the Catskills. I just wish we’d had a few more days.

Easy check-in and allowed to check in a little early on request, Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, great location for our fishing trips, nice fire pit, nice landscaping. All around nice comfortable stay.

Nice holiday weekend getaway

The house was comfortable. The yard was great for my dog to run around. The creek out back is lovely. The road is a dead end, so barely any traffic at all. Very quiet. There were games, puzzles, movies, kitchen supplies, etc. Everything was easy to find and navigate. Nice place to stay.

Cottage on River

As described, an immaculate cottage close to the Beaver Kill for fishing and the Little Beaver in the backyard. Very accommodating host with great communication. Would recommend!

Cozy cottage

My initial impression of the property was not great; the property definitely needs some external TLC.But, you can't judge a book.by its cover!The interior was lovely and has even we needed for a very enjoyable visit.

Just what the doctor ordered

Very clean, very sweet, true you can't let the outside scare you it's beautiful inside. Creek was perfect. If you go to get groceries there is a dollar general go there before you go to pecks market they're expensive

Peaceful Stay

The house was well equipped and clean. The property was very nice, lots of space to walk to the creek and I enjoyed the firepit. Quiet street so you can relax and listen to the creek and watch the stars. Theres an AC in the closet upstairs for the bedrooms that I didn't see at first. Overall great stay especially if you are going to Bethel Woods, 30 mins on back roads perfect place to stay for concerts. Thank you to the host .

Very cozy and clean

We enjoyed our stay here . The house is clean and well organize .Everything work well . Everything was provided no need to worry about personal needs ( shampoo ,soap , toothpastes , mouthwash, body wash )The place are quite and the ground well kept.

Spring flyfishing weekend

Great location for some of the finest trout fishing water in the world. The house was comfortable, welcoming, with attention to many helpful details, supplies, working WiFi. Quiet location right on the Little Beaverkill. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Website description incorrect

Only 1 of the TV’s out of the 4 in the bedrooms worked. The couches were not beds. Only 1 exit. The other exits were locked with no access. No playground. No lawn furniture. Couldn’t get water out of the refrigerator.

Pleasant surprise - don’t judge by the exterior of the house!

I was pleasantly surprised that this lovely house was still available and for such an agreeable price just three weeks before the New Year’s Eve weekend. I also kept thinking where’s the catch? I spare the suspense - there’s none! We spent three nights there with another family. Four adults and three kids - age range 13 - 17. The house does sleep eight people if you don’t mind that two kids share a bed. We didn’t and it worked out beautifully. The rooms are spacious for such a small house and well furnished. Each one has a tv-set, which we didn’t need, but the kids loved the idea. The kitchen is updated and well equipped, you only need to bring the food, everything else is provided. Dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer are all included along with detergents. The living room is small but easily accommodates two families and big enough to play the usual party games - charade, pictionary, card games. It also has a tv which is conveniently placed so everyone can watch. The house is pet friendly but very clean and there are no discernible sings of pets. Although Rt17 is nearby, the neighborhood is quiet. We spent New Year’s Eve up there and there were no issues. There are several fun hikes with varying difficulty levels within 30-40 minutes drive. Rosco has a good gorcery store, and there are a few petrol stations within 5 minutes drive that has a food mart as well. Restaurants are aplenty in the area: mainly diners, smokehouses, pubs and grills.

Cozy getaway

This property was a perfect choice for our family getaway. It was clean and well supplied with everything you needed for a relaxing vacation. Alina always responds quickly to any questions you might have. We enjoyed our stay at her cozy cottage.

Relaxing

The cottage is in a perfect location. At first I was al ittle disappointed that I didn't see a kureg machine. Upon further investigation, I found a very nice selection of coffee grounds for the drip coffee maker. You may have turned me into a re-convert back to a drip machine; The house was spotless. Very clean and meticulously appointed and very well organized. The pellet stove came in handy since the temps were dropping and it is very easy to use. The grounds are very neat and tidy and well maintained. Behind the house is the Little Beaverkill River. It has a nice selection of fast water, slow water, shallow runs and a few deep runs. I was lucky enough to have two very nice brown trout take my fly. I will stay here again if given a chance. Thanks for a much needed relaxing weekend in a great spot.
