Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and stylish just renovated 2 bedroom cottage. Whip up a quick snack or fantastic feast in the fully-equipped kitchen. Take any game off the shelf to enjoy in the cozy living room with the sounds of crackling wood in the fireplace. Any good book would be a great accompaniment to the scenic stream side backyard filled with the sounds of nature. Central to many country attractions as well! A hidden gem!

Wonderful stay

This little property is a true gem. It's very close to Livingston Manor, yet very quiet. The lawn leading to the creek is just beautiful with the fire pit and lounge chairs. Inside, the kitchen has everything you need, and board games and and the wood stove make for cozy evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The location was great — close to restaurants and breweries — and the backyard was lovely, backing up to a peaceful creek. It’s a nice setting. However, the home itself could have been cleaner. The floors were chipped and buckling in several spots, and the towels/bathrooms didn’t seem very clean. We asked to drop off our infant’s milk prior to our check in time so it could be refrigerated while we were out (we had plans that did not allow us to be there at the 4pm check in time), but the owner would only allow it with an additional 50 early check-in fee, which felt a bit unreasonable given the small request.

Beautiful!

Cottage was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The outdoor space was so relaxing. My son played in the creek for hours, rested in the swing, and loved being outside. Jonathan was helpful and communicative. Great location. Perfect weekend break!

A great stay

A tiny bit cold in the winter with just the heat pumps, but the wood burning stove was a really nice touch! Very clean and well maintained.

Lovely and peaceful

The house was clean, roomy and well appointed. The outdoor seating was nice, especially the swinging basket chairs near the stream. Outdoor lighting in the back yard was nice. It’s near good coffee and good food.

Don't let the outside fool you

We were surprised when we first arrived, but were very pleasantly surprised when we got inside. The place was very clean and nice. Jonathan was very prompt with the few questions we had.

This property is stunning. I can't say enough about how comfortable and beautiful the house and property was. The host thought of everything. There were games, fluffy towels, wonderful beds and pillows, drinks like coffee, and even shampoo. It was wonderful. We will be back!

Great place. Relaxing location. Fishing.

Great place to get away. Clean, moderately well equipped, awesome place to relax. Having control over heat in each individual room was great. Bathrooms were good, having a grill was great and the stream was a nice extra. A good place to hang out, relax and fish nearby. 45 mins to West Branch, 20 mins to Beaverkill amd 5 mims to the Willowemoc. Would definately stay here again.

The attention to detail in the interior design created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The furnishings were stylish and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen and luxurious amenities added a touch of convenience and indulgence to my stay. The place was very well appointed with all the amenities that you could want, the backyard was beautiful. Although it rained, we didn't have much time to be out there. And we're at a wedding and didn't have much time to hang out there.I would recommend that anyone who rents this use the directions from Vrbo, and not from your g. PS, because the GPS takes you 2A missionary up on a hill, and the picture of 292 that the internet gives you for groohill, road is actually fifteen groohill wrote

Lovely property conveniently located to the main reason for our stay which was a concert at Bethel Center for the Arts. Host was very responsive and great to work with. Lovely outdoor area right on the water. Would visit again.

Nice trip

This is a nice, clean spot with a lovely setting. We had a lot of rain, unfortunately. We struggled with the coffee maker, but other than that everything was excellent.

Brook side getaway

This was a perfect fit for visiting nearby family. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the sounds of a babbling brook. The property’s offerings were great inside and out. Although Wi-Fi is available, there was virtually no cell service. (of which the host warned us) if communicating with anyone with an android, be prepared to use an app like messenger or WhatsApp. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Relaxing by the stream

My sister and I enjoyed some relaxation at this lovely home. Nicely updated, comfortable beds. We had rain most of the time and only got to enjoy sitting by the stream for a short time. We went during the week and discovered many places were only open on the weekends. That limited our choices for restaurants. If we returned we would either do a weekend or later in the season. The house is a bit isolated but we didn't feel unsafe. It was a shirt drive into town. Thank you for sharing your home. Elaine and Sue

Cute and Comfy Cottage

We enjoyed our weekend get away at this lovely, cozy cottage. The location was perfect! The cottage is clean and well stocked. We plan to return in the spring so that we can enjoy the backyard. The host is very responsive and wants to make sure everything is just right.

Absolutely Beautiful!

What an amazing weekend stay we had at Johnathans home. The house was clean and had all the necessary items stocked. We couldn't get over how beautiful the property was. Inside and out just an overall nice experience. Johnathan was helpful and communicative also. Would definitely return for a longer stay!

Cozy and modern

We loved the cozy yet modern vibes of this home, and especially enjoyed using the fireplace during our winter stay. Everything was clean and well considered. The town is close by and very cute. Communication with owner was excellent and super helpful. I would say if you have sensitive to light sleepers, there aren’t blackout shades, and I always appreciate knowing that.

Hope to stay there again

Don’t let the photos fool you. It’s a much bigger space than the listing shows. Great layout. Amazing back yard. Unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the yard and creek as much as we wanted to due to a blizzard (which was beautiful) and it became a little too cold to spend time outside. Perfect location too 10-15 min from bars, restaurants wildlife and stores. 5 stars!
