Summer Family Stay

This was an amazing property! Plenty of room, homey, close to beach and gorgeous back yard. The location is very close to restaurants and Publix supermarket. We hope to return!!!

Great for large extended family

We stayed with 12 members of our family. The house was so clean and well taken care of. Very nice having 2 kitchens and such a short walk to the beach and Times Square. The pool was so nice to come back and relax around after a day at the beach! I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect place!

The home was beautiful, spacious, and perfectly located. We couldn’t have asked for a better spring break stay. The owners answered any and all questions we had from the moment we booked until the moment we checked out. They were fantastic!!

Paradise

If you want to be close to beach and have a pool (which is huge) this is your place! Plenty of space for our family of ten. Very comfortable beds, second kitchen in lower level a plus. Teenagers enjoyed the lower level playing PS5 on the large TV. Can’t wait to come back!

Labor Day Trip

This house is in a great location and had everything we needed to just relax near the beach for the weekend. The abundance of baby/kid supplies made it super easy to bring our one year old on his first vacation. The communication with the host was super easy and quick. If we find ourselves retaining to Fort Myers Beach, we'd definitely stay again!

We couldn’t have had a better place to stay, great location & great people that own the property, great communication, they went over and above to make sure we were set & even let us know that the bridge was going to be closed down about the time we needed to check out. Great family vacation spot

It was a beautiful house with all the amenities you could think of. We have stayed at several vrbo’s this was the first one that had 2 pack and plays for infants. Our whole group thought the place was amazing we will definitely be coming back. Even the neighbors were great .

Great communication with host. Easy to access the propriety. It was still under renovation when we stayed but host was clear upfront and very honest about it. Enjoy now as it is not yet too crowded in FMB

My family and I absolutely love this property and the owners! Upon arrival, you will walk into a clean, fresh house. Everything you need to enjoy your vacation is already there and ready to go. You can immediately tell that the owners care about the property and they want you to enjoy their house and your vacation. Not only that but if you do have any questions or concerns, they’re only a phone call away. Super simple. Love it! 10/10

Such an amazing home

I was so excited to bring my family down to Fort Myers and this house held up to my expectations! Tons of space, it has all the amenities you'd need. The pool was incredible! Truly a great find. Shelley and Brad were in communication with me the whole time and helped make the check in process smooth. Thank you again!

Perfect Spot For A Large Group

Absolutely loved our stay. The home was so quiet, comfortable, and clean, and even with 9 of us staying we never felt like we were in each others way. The pool area was so nice that we spent most of our time there even though the beach was only a short block away! The property is a very close walk to many restaurants, shops, and bars. The entire area around the house is very clean, upkept, and quaint. Working with the owners was very easy - our texts/questions were answered immediately before, during, and after our stay. This really is a great place!

Great for groups

The house was great for our big group with enough space and amenities to make beaching and hanging out at the house enjoyable. We had the unfortunate experience of having one of the 3 air conditioners stop working while we were there but the owner was prompt in getting it taken care of so we had less than 12 hours of disruption. The hot tub and pool were well taken care of. The beach cart and beach supplies were hugely helpful. The owner even bought a pack n play for the property so we didn't have to travel with one. Overall, the owner was very responsive and took care of issues as they arose.

We fully enjoyed this property!

We had such a wonderful stay Brad & Shelly’s home. Upon arrival we found the property to be pristine clean. It’s way bigger than I thought it would be. We had two families stay and there was plenty of room! The beds were all super comfy. There are essentially 3 floors & the basement area could be an apartment on its own-there’s a kitchenette, full bath all down there. There’s 2 sets of washers and dryers which helped keep our towels clean and dry. Lots of thoughtful additions if you have babies, like high chairs, pack and play, toilet seats and steps, baby spoons etc. It was HOT the week we stayed and the air conditioning kept up nicely. The pool area was so wonderful! The outdoor space was large with lots of chairs, a grill, garbage cans etc and was nice and private. Essentially everything felt new at the house and freshly renovated and modern. It was nicely decorated as well. There were tons of beach gear, chairs, sand toys, shell collecting bags, a wagon and cart to carry the supplies. Only 1 umbrella but you can rent additional gear at the beach. The walk to the beach was short. The beach itself wasn’t overly crowded and the water was shallow and nice and warm. We walked and walked far out and it didn’t get very deep. We looked at several properties in FMB and are certainly glad we chose this one!

The best rental property experience I’ve had

We booked this property for our family vacation after our initial choice in Marco Island unexpectedly cancelled. I was worried we wouldn’t find anything, but this property was open and had great reviews so we went with it—and let me tell you, things definitely do happen for a reason. Brad and Shelley were amazing from our first interaction with them to check-out. These property owners manage the property impressively well, and don’t miss a beat. Before we even arrived, we were notified the A/C was serviced and if any issues were to occur they would have someone over ASAP. It wasn’t an issue at all, but it was definitely reassuring to have Shelly check on us through the first day to make sure all was working. The property has it all and some! The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, drink glasses, and even fun cocktail plastic ones ones we took poolside. There were plenty of beach towels for us to use, as well as a cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas for use as well! The amenities in the pool area were perfect for our stay: retractable awnings for shade, gas grill, pool floaties and noodles, etc. Sleeping arrangements were stellar as well. The top floor has four of the bedrooms, and the main floor has the twin beds. The sofa bed on the ground floor wasn’t the best compared to the rest of the rooms, but they have made an effort to boost the comfort with a mattress topper provided. I haven’t really found an amazingly comfortable sofa bed, but this one is about as good as they can get. Overall, my family enjoyed the stay and we have Brad and Shelley to thank for that. Great beach town with lots of great eateries and experiences to check out. Shout out to the welcome book they gave us with recommendations! It was a great resource. Don’t think twice about this place, you won’t regret it. If we’re back in Fort Myers Beach, this is the place to be.

Our Best Florida Trip Yet

Exceptional host communication, property location, layout of the home, and one of the most well stocked kitchens for cooking at home would be enough to unquestionably return to this VRBO again and again. The neighborhood and neighbors will seal the return deal. In fact, for the first time in our extensive travel planning we were looking to book next year before even leaving for home. We are two families traveling together. The layout of the home provided enough space and privacy for everyone. The pool is large and the area around it is easy to gather in. The kitchen was so well stocked we lacked for nothing in all seven days of breakfast, lunch, and dinner at home. Drip and Keurig coffee machines. Dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent provided. Spices. Coffee filters. Paper towel. Plenty of towels. All of those things that just make setting up house so much less costly and more convenient. It is clear these are experienced and aware hosts. Maybe five minute walk to the beach and that is with small children (ages 5-8). There are not many businesses open post hurricane on the island and the devastation is real! This never subtracted from our experience (except the sadness you can’t help but feel for this community), as we felt so welcome in this home and by the neighbors. Brad and Shelley were completely transparent in what to expect during our stay and every part of this experience exceeded our expectations. I think our kids will be sending Christmas cards to the neighbors for years to come—that’s how great they are! We could never say enough good things. We fell in love with this place. That’s probably the best way to say it. : ) As with all my reviews—easy and friendly running and biking on or off the beach.

Plenty of room, great pool, good amenities & location

We were in FMB during the worst hazardous algae bloom event ever, creating red tide and suffocating much of the wild life. This created dead fish on the beaches and water that we shouldn’t go in. Brad & Shelley were attentive and even gifted us a $100 credit to a nearby restaurant, Hoosiers in Paradise. That was greatly appreciated, we know they cant control the weather and nature! Southern Serenity made a big impact on our vacation. It was great to have a conveniently located home to congregate back at. We enjoyed the upstairs covered deck & The pool and hot tub were our saving grace this week! (One of the maintenance people we spoke to said it’s one of the biggest private pools on the island!) our family loved it! There were pool floats and plenty of outdoor seating. We left a couple more floaties to pay it forward! There are plenty of beach towels for your whole party and best yet-laundry to wash and dry them and the rest of your clothes (coming home with clean clothes makes a vacation!!) The outdoor speakers didn’t seem to work. We could get very minimal sound out of one of the four so it wasn’t our device or the connection but something with the speakers or wiring itself! The welcome book was very helpful especially in making sure we had everything ready for check out and had a lot of tips for the house. Publix is about 2 miles away so it’s pretty far to walk. Rent bikes right down the street from the house or at Quickys! Lots is within walking distance too, including the beach, Times Square and Yo Taco! The electronic key system was nice but only worked for some in our group, we never figured out why. There were also various things in the home that needed maintenance, which the owners are aware but i feel should be mentioned. The free standing ice maker sounded like it worked but then didn’t all week. The fridge is leaking water. We just kept a towel there constantly and changed when it got too wet. And the gas grill is pretty rusted out and therefore cooks very unevenly! We grilled burgers and steaks but didn’t want to chance it after that. All other appliances worked well. It was nice to have a blender, coffee pot & toaster!! There is a ton of beach “stuff” like chairs and an umbrella, beach tote and dog stroller we just didn’t spend much time on the beach due to the conditions so didn’t use those. If asked, everyone in our party said they enjoyed the house and would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you to Brad & Shelley

Perfect Spring Break!

Stayed at this beautiful home with our children and grandchildren for spring break. They had everything we needed for the pool and beach. All the toys, chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, coolers, too much to mention. All you need for the baby of the family is there as well! Plenty of room for everyone. Any time we needed to reach out to Brad and Shelley with a question, they responded almost immediately. Close to Times Square, restaurants, bars, shopping. Great location. We hope to return to this amazing property in the future!
