The property was kept up and clean and communications with the owner (Dinah?) were great. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there was abundant space, including bedrooms, for the 7 of us. Beds were comfortable. No complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Door County Farm House.The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Dorin is an excellent host- very responsive and helpful. We will definitely return!

Very nice house and yard. We really enjoyed the fire pit each evening. House was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Only thing was the walk to town wasn’t easy. With a baby and a stroller it didn’t seem safe.

Clean and spacious - bigger than it looks in the listings. Feels secluded but a very quick walk to downtown. Easy check in/out and great communication. Already booked for next year!

Quiet Home Close to Everything but away from Everything

Nice remodeled older home. Quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of all the shops/restaurants in Sisters Bay. Wonderful host that was most helpful with all our inquiries. Loved our stay and will be renting again when we return to the area. Hopefully soon.

Very clean home & extremely nice owners

This was the perfect home for our long weekend. The owner is quick to respond, helpful & always ensured we had everything we needed for a great time. This is one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stay in- absolutely immaculate. The house had tons of space and had everything we needed.

The home and property were great! The house was spotless and ready to go when we got there. We had plenty of room for all of us and very convenient to the downtown area while being on a quiet street that felt like we were out in the country. Beautiful area for an early morning walk, late night cards, and lots of laughs together for our girls trip! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and comfortable for a party of 7. The main floors were very dirty (black socks and feet for everyone), the driveway was in total disrepair, and the lawn was overgrown, which made it difficult for toddlers to walk in it.

House was very clean and comfortable fior the 7 of us ladies. Host was awesome to work with. Very quick in responding to any questions. There is 1 bedrm and full bath downstairs. The steps going upstairs could be challenging for someone with mobility issues. Overall, great place and would rent it again with no hesitation.

Door county trip

We had a great stay! Close to Sister Bay but far enough off the main road it was quiet at night. We had plenty of space for our group. The host was great! Overall would stay again and recommend.

Great place

We stayed at Dorin’s place with our family and extended family. The house was nice and big with plenty of beds and bathrooms. It was a convenient location in Sister Bay just a minute from downtown. Dorin was a great host and very responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

3 of us stayed at this location and we all enjoyed it very much. The house is spacious and quiet. Close to the main drag but far enough away not to be bothered with a ton of traffic.

Homey Comfort

This large home provided a great stay for our family. We loved the location as it was central to many of the destinations we visited. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We had no issue with housing our party size that ranged from a low of7 to a high of 12.

Girls Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. Sister Bay is a great location and the sunset boat cruise with live music was wonderful. The hostess was extremely responsive, and the house was very clean. We used the bonfire a couple times - perfect for a Fall evening. There is one bedroom on the main floor and three bedrooms upstairs. We appreciated having our own rooms and the 2 and 1/2 baths. A memorable trip and the location can't be beat. Highly recommend it.

Perfect Accommodations

This adorable farm house is spacious, has everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook meals, all of the beds and pillows were very comfy, and the location could not be beat - just a couple of minutes from the main road without all of the traffic. Dorin made checking in and out a breeze and was quick to respond to my texts. The outside fire pit was the perfect end to the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location/layout

Overall a great stay. The host was pleasant and quick to respond to questions, etc. The location was convenient and a short drive to everything in DC. Grandparents stayed on the main floor, 2 adult kids/spouses upstairs, and all the grandkids/cousins together in the bunk room upstairs as well - worked great. The yard was nicely shaded and the fire pit was great. The dining and kitchen area were also nice and open - especially important for our group size. There were a few quirks, such as a bathroom door that was very difficult/loud to close (especially at night with sleeping kids not to wake), a bathroom fan that didn’t clear the steam, not nearly enough surfaces in the bathrooms to put any personal items (upstairs), not enough towel hooks, the grill was quite dirty, and the washing machine controls were inconsistent to start. There were also quite a few bugs inside, which I noted to the host after our stay and was assured the property was sprayed the following week. I would probably stay here again because of the location, but not without seeing what my other options were first.
