Great place

We stayed at Dorin’s place with our family and extended family. The house was nice and big with plenty of beds and bathrooms. It was a convenient location in Sister Bay just a minute from downtown. Dorin was a great host and very responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Lots of room, and open space to hang out. Loved the fire pit. The kitchen had a ton of countertop space. We all loved the house and the location!

Great place!

3 of us stayed at this location and we all enjoyed it very much. The house is spacious and quiet. Close to the main drag but far enough away not to be bothered with a ton of traffic.

Homey Comfort

This large home provided a great stay for our family. We loved the location as it was central to many of the destinations we visited. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We had no issue with housing our party size that ranged from a low of7 to a high of 12.

Girls Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. Sister Bay is a great location and the sunset boat cruise with live music was wonderful. The hostess was extremely responsive, and the house was very clean. We used the bonfire a couple times - perfect for a Fall evening. There is one bedroom on the main floor and three bedrooms upstairs. We appreciated having our own rooms and the 2 and 1/2 baths. A memorable trip and the location can't be beat. Highly recommend it.

Perfect Accommodations

This adorable farm house is spacious, has everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook meals, all of the beds and pillows were very comfy, and the location could not be beat - just a couple of minutes from the main road without all of the traffic. Dorin made checking in and out a breeze and was quick to respond to my texts. The outside fire pit was the perfect end to the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

The perfect house to stay at! So close to downtown you can walk for morning coffee and enjoy the view. Will be staying here for future visits, too.

Great location/layout

Overall a great stay. The host was pleasant and quick to respond to questions, etc. The location was convenient and a short drive to everything in DC. Grandparents stayed on the main floor, 2 adult kids/spouses upstairs, and all the grandkids/cousins together in the bunk room upstairs as well - worked great. The yard was nicely shaded and the fire pit was great. The dining and kitchen area were also nice and open - especially important for our group size. There were a few quirks, such as a bathroom door that was very difficult/loud to close (especially at night with sleeping kids not to wake), a bathroom fan that didn’t clear the steam, not nearly enough surfaces in the bathrooms to put any personal items (upstairs), not enough towel hooks, the grill was quite dirty, and the washing machine controls were inconsistent to start. There were also quite a few bugs inside, which I noted to the host after our stay and was assured the property was sprayed the following week. I would probably stay here again because of the location, but not without seeing what my other options were first.

Country Comfort with just a few minute walk to downtown

Dorin was amazing to work with. So friendly and quick to follow-up on all questions we had. It was really nice be in the country setting but yet able to walk to the down town area. Thank you for help making it a stress free trip.

Summer vacation.

7 of us had a wonderful time. Easy walk to Sidter Bay beach but far enough away from all the traffic. Place was perfect and plenty of room. Host was helpful and quick to respond.

Fabulous place close to town but away from the crowds

Great house. Ten minute walk from downtown, but you would never know it because it feels like you’re out in the country. Nice kitchen. Comfortable beds. Pretty wood floors. Great washer and dryer. This house is great for a big group. We enjoyed the backyard picnic benches and fire pit. Host is very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We will be back!

Great BIG house in a great location walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

This house is big and spacious……larger than the photos in the listing ! Loads of parking, well maintained, tons of hot water, big tv, fast internet and well furnished. Only 10 minutes from town and a very quiet location. Host was fast, friendly, caring and efficient. Highly Recommend Property and Location.

Girls Weekend

Sister Bay Stay

There was 8 of us staying for NYE weekend. The house is at a great location being in Sister Bay and just a 10-15 minute walk to downtown area. I bet it’s even better in the summer when the weather is warm. Any questions we had about our stay, were answered quickly. A cute house in a great area! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Krist Kringle Market and festivities.

Large farmhouse, updated kitchen, great common space. Only suggestion is add a cabinet in the main bathroom to set toiletries on and towel bars to dry bath towels. Warm and cozy home. Owner response was spot on. Only blocks from famous Sister Bowl!

Mom/teen daughter getaway

This property was the perfect getaway place for what we needed. Three moms each to their own bedroom and three teen girls shared the bunk room but each had their own bed. There was plenty of space to sit around playing games, watching movies and eating pizza. The house is in a quiet location yet close to town. Beds were super comfy. We loved our time together and this “home away from home” was perfect!!
