Holiday vacation

Great location tired property

The location is great being right on the beach other than that the apartment needs a refurbishment and maybe get rid of the huge dining table on the balcony ( there is a similar sized one in the lounge)

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this condominium. We were right on the beach the sound...

Enjoyed getting up each morning and drinking coffee on the screened in deck and watching the ocean waves and listening to it. So peaceful, so relaxing.

Great condo, but 30 stairs (same as 3rd or 4th floor) no elevator

Wonderful condo but we hesitated to go to beach because of so many stairs up/down. Not why i rent a condo on the beach... i live in FL on 2nd floor, no elevator (1/2 as many stairs). So i would be cautious if over 45 years old...

On the Beach

Beautiful property! Right on the beach. We did have three days with no AC working. That was pretty awful - 85 degrees inside 85 degrees outside. Took 4 calls and 4 visits over 3 days to get it working. Also had a phone call with a maintenance employee who actually asked us if 85 degrees was too warm. The answer is yes. We had a wonderful stay and spent so much time on the beach. 6 turtles laid eggs within a short distance of the condo while we were there. Manatees swam by almost everyday of our stay.

Beautiful view

This condo was perfect for our family of 6. The location is wonderful!! The unit was very clean and it was so nice to have a back door to the condo balcony that led to the beach. Bedrooms are a nice size. The kitchen and appliances are dated however it had everything we needed. The only negative, It would have been nice for the unit to have beach items, however I was told you can rent a beach chair/umbrella at Beach Bums on the island for very little cost. Washer and dryer in the unit is a wonderful bonus! We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to others .

Tired and Worn out

The only good thing about this condo is the view and the proximity to the beach. This unit is tired, run down and worn. The owners and the rental agency obviously don't care about it. Almost every electrical outlet is useless because everything you try to plug in just falls out (a Fire Hazard). The toilets are so low, they feel like a child's toilet. When you read that there are stairs to get into this unit be aware that there are THIRTY steep steps (no elevator) every single time you go in and out the door. The balcony on the side of the house (parking lot side) that gets sun in the morning had multiple broken chairs and a dead plant, just another sign that no one really maintains this property. It's sad, this could be a great place if someone cared enough to update it.

January Vacation

We stayed for the month of January. The property was as listed. First the Pros - Good location, covered parking, great view, decent beds and couch, adequate dishes and cookware, washer and dryer. Cons - stairs, older appliances but worked, frig door had 2 broken and missing shelves, cabinets are cheap and one is broken, faucets in bathroom older and a little hard to use. a few holes in lanai screen which will be a problem in warmer weather with no-seeums. The biggest disappointment for an expensive beachfront condo was NO beach chairs and umbrella. Had to buy chairs, cheaper than renting. Lousy weather this January and had to use the heat almost every night. It quit working one night and Vacasa was great about taking care of it quickly the next day. There has been some updating but still needs more and some TLC. There are some broken chairs on the front deck that need thrown away. Dangerous to sit in them.

The View Makes It

Right on the water. A very peaceful (not too populated) stretch of beach right outside your door. The condo is nice too. It could use some general updates, to the kitchen and bathrooms specifically, but you're paying for the view, which makes it all worth it.

Loved our stay on Holmes Beach

This condo is in a wonderful location, is very clean, quiet and comfortable! We loved the large lanai overlooking the beach! Condo is truly beachfront and the beach was never crowded which was wonderful. Arrival and departure were seamless. There were a few things I would note about the rental. There is no elevator, so everything must be carried up the stairs to the condo, which technically is 3 flights up. Not a deal breaker, but inconvenient when carrying luggage and groceries in and out. I really feel this needs to be mentioned in the listing. I had also never stayed in a condo that didn’t have basic spices in the kitchen. Again not a deal breaker, just know if you’re planning to cook you might want to bring salt/pepper etc. this very well could be Covid related but having the basics would have been nice. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider staying again at this location.

Great location-needs to be updated!

We loved the location and proximity to the beach. Stairways are old and dirty. Furnishings and bedding in the condo are also very old and outdated. It has a lot of room, but needs an update!

Great beds

We were a little disappointed with the quality of this unit. The second floor unit is up 4 flights of narrow stairs. It was terrible to try to get our luggage and groceries up there. That alone would make us not choose this property again. Our phone chargers and computer plugs kept falling out of almost all of the outlets. The unit needs some TLC. The beach was great except for hauling everything up and down 4 flights of stairs that were so narrow two people cannot pass on them. You have to go back to the last landing to get by. The beds were very comfortable.

Perfection

We loved this place so much! It had everything we could ask for! Previous guests even left a blow dryer and beach chairs! We left some sant toys. One thing I will say is in the master bedroom the slider is broken and doesn’t open but it didn’t impact our stay at all. I will 100% be booking this condo again.

Wonderful stay

A little slice of Heaven

Ok that title was cliché but it’s true. A private balcony overlooks the gulf with a short path thru the sea oats and dunes to get to the white sands. I always read just a few steps to the beach, etc but this is true as it is ON the beach. Condo was really nice and spacious. Location is great for a family and a very uncrowded beach. Loved it!
