Välkommen till Dune Cottage med otrolig utsikt över Lake Michigan och Beaver Island. Inför väster in i varje solnedgång, byggdes denna nyrenoverade 3 våningar stuga in i sanddynerna i en tid som gällande bestämmelser förhindrar. Allt du ser från det stora däcket är 230 graders panoramautsikt över ren Lake Michigan. Vi har en privat strand och en promenad på 100 går ger dig tillgång till 3 miles av orörda fjärrskyddade outvecklade mark!

Den nybyggda stugan innehåller allt nytt kök, vitvaror, 3 nya badrum, belysning, möbler, golv och inredning. Fyra sovrum är rymliga nog att rymma upp till 10 gäster bekvämt. Inbäddat inne i Fishermans Island State Park ger tillgång till 2800 hektar skyddad mark för vandring och jakt under säsong.

Dune Cottage är bekvämt beläget bara 12 minuter från centrala Charlevoix. Charlevoix har en ny-ish småbåtshamn och East Park, unika restauranger, shopping, bönder marknaden ... Det finns inte ett bättre läge i Charlevoix. Det finns många golfbanor alternativ inom kort avstånd från stugan. Snöskidåkning under vintermånaderna är också lättillgänglig.

Vi har varit i den veckovisa uthyrningsverksamheten i 2 decennier och njut alltid av att dela våra underbara fastigheter med våra gäster.

Wonderful Stay

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Sunsets were phenomenal. Charlevoix was only a short drive away when you wanted to go there but the best part was being on the Lake Michigan shore and having our part of the lake all to ourselves. Great for the little grandkids as well as for all of the adults. Everyone wants to go back. Owner's response time for our questions was great.

Love Being on the Water

The property was just as the listing describes, but the views were beyond description. Our family really enjoyed staying at Dune Cottage. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Lovely Up North Vacay

We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix and specially at Dune cottage! Was a great location with great views!! Loved looking over Lake Michigan and seeing all the different boats! The kids and I had lovely walks each evening - they said they had never been anywhere where it smelled like Pine so much! Found some Petoskey stones… and while we felt like we were by ourselves had a short drive to get to Charlevoix! The property manager was very responsive and kind! We would stay again!! would stay low

Special place

Dune Cottage is a special place. Comfortable, cozy. Great Location! Stayed 2 years in a row. Would come again. My granddaughters loved the beach for play, walks and the sunset. Great family time.

Beautiful peaceful getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Dune Cottage. We loved walking the beach and taking in stunning sunsets every evening. The home is well equipped and comfortable. Lake Michigan and the surrounding dunes are in full view from inside the house and on the lovely deck. Highly recommended!

Get-a-way at Dune Cottage!

Dune cottage is comfortable, clean and inviting. It’s attractively decorated without being too fancy, making for a home-like experience. It’s centrally located for 69-90 minute drives to some of upper Michigan’s premier attractions. The two separate living spaces are great for family activities when a age range is present.

A Kiss from Lake Michigan

Wonderful property, surroundings, hosts, ambience and environment. Everything was as depicted in the literature and we had a marvelous vacation escape from the noise, clatter and rush of our normal lives. The experience of becoming close to the pristine connection of land a lake were such a refreshing change of pace for us. We loved it!

Beautiful, quiet home on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Dune Cottage. The neighborhood is a quiet and serene little spot, secluded in the middle of Fisherman Island State Park. We hardly saw another person while we were here. The beaches are really nice and there are miles of secluded shoreline due to the state park backing up to this property. The 3-story cottage was large enough for 9 people. The house was fairly well stocked and was updated enough to make our stay very comfortable.

Incredible Views

We stayed here in early June of 2022. The house was great. The owners have updated the house and it was very comfortable. We spent alot of time on the deck admiring the views and walking the beach and dunes. Fields called us on the way and gave use some tips about the house and the area. He was quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Girls weekend!!

We found this cottage for our 9th annual girls weekend for our group of 7. We were not disappointed! The pictures online don't do it justice, the views were amazing and the house was beautiful. We had plenty of room and the house was very clean. We loved exploring Charlevoix, we checked out the mushroom houses, the castle and the cute downtown area. As much as we loved the town it was great to return to the privacy of our house each day, it felt like we were the only ones out there. Thank you for a great stay!!

Charlevoix Cottage

WOW, the beach & views are amazing! We had a wonderful vacation. The layout of the home worked well for our family (ages 7-74) with 3 levels to stretch out. Main level w/ kitchen, 1/2 bath, living room, dining & deck “perfect for sunsets” over-looking beautiful dunes & beach. Lower level w/ 2 bedrooms, full bath, laundry & additional family room. Upper level master, bunk-room & full bath. LOVED everything except house could use new linens (sheets & towels) and back-up toiletries (soaps for bathrooms). Thank you for having us & we are excited to visit again next summer.

Great family vacation!

We spent a great 4th of July week here, beautiful views and excellent location. There were 9 of us (6 adults, 3 kids under 10), and there was more than enough room for us to spread out, with the 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, and 2 living areas. The kitchen was huge, and open to the living room. The large windows and a doorwall gave us great views of the dunes and Lake Michigan. We really enjoyed the spectacular sunsets on the deck. A few yards away down from the cottage lake front takes you to an amazing private beach, where we had a great time swimming, and the kids had a blast with the big waves. The owners were very easy to work with, responding quickly to answer a couple of questions. We would definitely plan on staying here again!

Awesome cottage on Lake Michigan

We fell in love w/ this cottage as soon as we turned into the wooded driveway. The house has 2 seperate living spaces (one on the upper level and one on the lower level) which is great if you have kids or a group of people (plenty of room to spread out). We loved the 3 fireplaces, kept us very warm. This cottage is so cozy and homey! The kitchen had everything you could need and more. Best advice is to wake up just before dawn, there is a lot of wildlife stirring around. The upper level lake side of the home is almost all windows and it's amazing! We didn't want to leave and ended up extending our stay. Fields was so helpful with our questions and awesome to allow us to extend our trip a few more days. We cannot wait to get back. I can only imagine how amazing it is in the warmer months.

Beautiful views, lacking in other areas

We had a great time at Dune Cottage. The views were spectacular and most of the cottage has been renovated nicely. We did have an issue with the downstairs shower which has not been renovated and was very moldy. The bath tub upstairs didn’t drain and there were no window treatments on the window in front of the tub, which the shower curtain opened out to. We could see into the bathroom from the fire pit area. The sandy beach view from the cottage was great, it’s a shame it belongs to the neighbors. We knew this going in and were prepared to use the beach on the peninsula, however it was unusable. Very rocky, no clear path to get there, large piles of brush on the beach, algae along the shore and lots of snakes! We opted to walk down the beach and had it all to ourselves which was wonderful. The deck and fire pit area could use some tlc. Towels in the downstairs bath and pillows in both downstairs bedrooms could use a refresh. Kids loved the bunk room and downstairs media area. Overall, it was a nice property, but for the price point(and being a rental host myself)everyone in my group agreed that some improvements still need to be made.

Granny's trip

5 retired grandmothers rented this property for 3 days. We enjoyed the view, the weather was cool and rainy. We were sorry not to be able to book next years trip here but they changed availability to renting for a week only.

Wonderful week at the beach!

A great week of swimming at the beach, enjoying time with our family. A wonderful location to get away, private and quiet, and the house was great for our entire family. Loved the daily visits by the eagles, sitting in the tree directly behind the house.

Fisherman’s Island

Great location nestled in the park. House was a bit dirty when we arrived (sticky counters and had a fishy smell), but we we able to air it out since the weather was perfect. Great deck and view of the lake! Lacking in some basics like toilet paper and soap, but shops in Charlevoix are nearby. Loved the brewery up the hill and walks on the beach. Bunk bed upstairs was rickety, so, we were short one bed from what we expected.

Peaceful beach escape

Wonderful property for relaxing and enjoying the view. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Host had the place in great shape. Rules were easy to file and straightforward.

Wonderful again!

This was our second time staying at Dune Cottage and it once again did not disappoint! The house is wonderfully setup and in such a beautiful setting on Lake Michigan. It was so great to ring in the new year here and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Great place to stay

This property was in excellent condition and very clean. There were 180 degree views of Lake Michigan with beautiful sunsets. The house is designed nicely with 2 bedrooms, full bath, and sitting room on the ground floor; 2 bedrooms and full bath on the second floor; and a large kitchen, dining area, and living area on the first floor. It is close to Charlevoix for sightseeing. The owners were great to work with. I would highly recommend this property if you want to visit the area.

We all enjoy the beaches, restaurants, shopping, boating, marinas, golfing, library, orchards, festivals, neighboring towns, etc. We're so fortunate to have found this property located precisely where we wanted it: on miles of sand where the sunsets are INCREDIBLE) and a short drive from downtown (Bridge Street).
