Du hittar detta hem söder om Mt. Hood Highway i Welches, där den ligger vid stranden av en liten bäck direkt intill The Resort at The Mountain. Tillbringa sommarmånaderna på den 36-håls golfbanan precis bredvid, fiska i Sandy River en mil norr och vandra de otaliga skogspåren i Mt. Hood National Forest. This house was great for a family getaway 3 kids 4 adults plenty of room for us to spread out and close to lots of activities! We saw a deer in the backyard one more the kiddos loved it and loved the little play set in the kids room. Only bummer is the hot tub broke before our stay so didn’t get to utilize it. Hosts worked with us regarding hot tub issue would recommend this place to stay!

Property is in a quaint and quiet neighborhood with good access to the Mt Hood area. Home is cozy and flows well for a group of up to 6. We went over one of the warmest weekends this summer and can confirm the AC worked amazingly. A few items for the owner / property manager. Home has an induction cooktop but has awful pans / pots for use on this type of stove. Many had a hard time making enough contact to register on the stove top. Very frustrating cooking experience. Additionally much of the kitchenware (while well appointed) is dated. Furniture and carpets are also in on the older end. Backyard is also not as well kept as the pictures. The bones for a great vacation home are there but a little TLC and regular checkin on the comforts would be appreciated. Thank you for letting us use your home.

Excellent home. Comfortable living room furniture. Loved the recliners. Only complaint is bed in master bedroom was very high. Unable to get into if you are short. Perfect for a family of 7.

Easy Living on Mt. Hood

We have rented this property for the last two years for three weeks at a time and plan to return. I really enjoy this house because it has really great flow for a small family who is looking to get out early in the mornings and come back for a good rest at night. I choose to rent this house again and again because of its flow, the clean hardwood floors and its proximity to the golf course and Mount Hood. I do think that the owners could invest in getting some new furnishings as they have worn shabby over the years but aside from that I would highly recommend this property and I feel like vacasa takes very good care of it. Over the last year I’ve noticed they’re not using fabric softeners or harsh chemicals anymore, which makes me really happy for a sensitive family. The washing machine is very large. It doesn’t clean super well, but I appreciate the space for doing lots of laundry. The kitchen is heavily stocked with any type of appliance you would need for cooking and the oven is adequate. The master has nowhere to hang your clothes and they could update the tv to a smart TV because there is no way to login to watch your shows. The deck is pleasant for sitting in the sun and it has a really nice garden. The outdoor furniture also needs an update. Lastly I enjoy the garage with the ping-pong table and a nice long driveway for parking cars.

Moose Meadow

We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. The hot tub is big and clean, and the layout of the home was perfect for our group. I would stay here again. We also loved the fenced in yard!

Moose Lodge- Welches OR

The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Neighbors are close but you would never know as it is tucked in and surrounded by vegetation. It is close enough to Portland and to all the outdoor activities in Mt Hood and Columbia River Gorge! Highly recommend

Disappointing Weekend

We had planned a lovely long weekend to ski/snowboard as a family. Unfortunately my daughter ended up in the ER with Influenza A and Pneumonia. She had passed out in the Dr office because of the severity. We wanted to change weekends as it was not advisable by the ER Dr to take our very ill child to cold and altitude. Our request was denied by VRBO, of course they are a greedy business but I was very disheartened to hear that the owner was just the same. Compassion is lost in this world and this owner was no different. We had booked for 4 nights, my husband went up for one night alone. The dishwasher is broken by the way! I wouldn't recommend booking with VRBO or this owner.

Great getaway!!!

This cabin is well done. Fun place to stay. Beds are comfortable. Hot tub is great. Kitchen is stocked. Amazing forest location with a small creek behind.

Sliding door not working properly. Not easy to access property manager. Check in instructions not sent until day of arrival after our calling. Sliding door not working right and screen also not intact. A pleasant stay after finally checked in other than back door

Adult family trip.

Had a great trip with my adult children. The finishes were great with plenty of room for everyone to have space. Close to food and entertainment. The fenced backyard was perfect for the dogs! Will stay again!

Clean, lovely spot

We had a great time here for a family vacation. It's nice that it's so close to restaurants. Wonderful for pups and the rooms for all clean and comfortable. FYI - you can fit a pack n play in the laundry room : )

Lovely Family Home

We loved our Thanksgiving getaway at Moose Meadow. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any vacation home we’ve ever rented with the highest quality cookware, etc.. The family room was set up perfectly for movie nights and the quiet, wooded surroundings made everything feel cozy. ** We did suggest a very necessary deep clean to Vacasa (after we checked out) to which we never received a response (lots of pet stains on the carpet and pet odors throughout the carpeted rooms), so we probably wouldn’t book the property again without confirmation that our suggestion was met with a proactive scrub down. The hot tub could have used a little love, as well, so we didn’t use it more than once or twice during our stay which is why we gave only 3 stars and under cleanliness. **

Nice Place

Very clean and updated with cute decor, nicely equipped kitchen, great hot tub and comfortable furniture. The only thing that was an issue was the remote to the fireplace did not have batteries in it to turn it on, but I happened to have some in my bag to put in the remote and use the fireplace.

Lovely and Cozy Girls Weekend

The house was just lovely!! Warm, cozy, felt like a home and not a rental. The kitchen has most everything you need. I would say a tea kettle and cocktail shaker would be helpful but does not impact the ability to function and fully enjoy the space. The fire pit was fun and it was all around a perfect stay. We are looking forward to staying her again. I suggest grabbing your best friends and staying here. #noregrets 🥰

Great place!

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. There is a great little strip mall within a mile or two. Had a small grocery, a nice coffee shop and an excellent Mexican restaurant -Chicali Cantina. The location was great for our drive around the area. In our full day there we drove all the way around Mt. Hood.
