Denna handgjorda stenstuga har en ruinliknande yttre och fortsätter temat när du går in. Dess välinredda grottorinredning kommer att wow dig med sin tankeväckande layout och intressanta konstruktionsteknik.
På bottenvåningen finns ett fullt utrustat kök med betongräknare och matbar, en sittgrupp med bekväma stolar, ett badrum med en stor kakel dusch och ett sovrum med en queen size-säng och en privat veranda med utsikt över Lookout Mountain. Uppför stentrapporna hittar du ett söt sovrumsl loft med en fullstor säng och massor av fönster med fantastisk utsikt. Säg hej till Tlaloc, den aztekiska regnguden och "det som groddar" på vägen uppför trappan.

The Cavern on The Green är vår andra av två hand snidade, ruiner stil stugor. Den andra, Bedrock Cave Cottage (vrbo # 971299) ligger bredvid. De två stugorna sitter mitt i en tomt på 12 tunnland och ligger så att varje stuga har privata områden utanför. Det finns gott om plats för utomhusevenemang och det är en ganska söt inställning för en utomhusfest med val av bålplatser.

Breaking up travel

My kids and I stopped and stayed here for 2 days as we were traveling to visit family. Loved the house! We all did! Everything was clean, quiet and peaceful. Rick was an amazing w answering questions that we had and gave us suggestions. We can’t wait to go back!

Gorgeous and Peaceful

This place is on a beautiful piece of land looking up at Lookout Mountain. The house is unique, the hot tub was great, and we loved seeing bunnies out munching the grass of the sloping hills. Highlight was watching ultra lights haul hangliders up over the mountain and soar down, over and over, right from the hot tub!

Great weekend getaway!

The property was exactly as advertised, and very clean. Rick sent great instructions on how to get there - a must since we arrived very late and wouldn't have found it without (would be no problem during the day). Short drive to Cloudland Canyon State Park, and Chattanooga. A great weekend! Can't wait to stay again.

Great Spot

This is a very unique property. It is off the beaten path and away from everything. Great place to get away for the weekend near Chattanooga. Rick is a very nice and responive owner.

Perfect Weekend Escape

Perfect weekend getaway for the family. Off the beaten path, but still 15 minutes to everything. Loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the hang gliders. The only thing missing was a TV for the kids.

Amazing return visit

This was my fourth time staying at Rick’s property since 2020. The property is amazing with beautiful views and an amazing place to just kick back and relax for a few days. I’m definitely coming back.

Gorgeous View & Quaint Property

Everything about this place was gorgeous, inside and out! The owner was communicative and very friendly. The AC dripped on the carpet during our stay and the shower wasn't as clean as we hoped, but overall the experience was worth it!

Cavern on the green

We loved the hot tub and really enjoyed evenings. The creative vibe is there with comforts of home. There was no TV, so we told scary stories on the roof, played go fish and rummy when we were in. It is a peaceful get a way to enjoy nature, disc golf at Cloudland and the Park were a great day visit. We did not see anyone gliding although it was mon and tues. May be more on weekends. Thank you for the thoughtfulness you put into this cavern!

An adventure in itself

This property was the best disconnect from the real world. It was peaceful, relaxing, and mesmerizing. Watching hang gliders during the day and stars from the hot tub at night was just what we needed. The property was easy to locate and everything was clean (even the hot tub).
