Detta Hawaiian Style Home har en öppen planlösning som innehÄller en kombination av vardagsrum / matsal med ett kök med köksredskap i rostfritt stÄl. FrÄn de frÀmre vardagsrumsfönstren finns utsikt över Kailua Beach Park och havet. Intill det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet finns en hall dÀr det finns 3 sovrum / 2 badrum. Det stora sovrummet och tvÄ andra sovrum har dubbelsÀngar. BÄda badrummen har renoverats med bÀnkskivor i marmor och nya tegelgolv. Som en bonus pÄ vardagsrummet Àr en Lanai som kan anvÀndas som ett extra sovrum med tvÄ queen size-sÀngar. Utanför finns en stor trÀdgÄrd med en uteplats med utemöbler som kan anvÀndas för middagar. Efter en dag pÄ stranden Àr utomhusduschen perfekt för att fÄ sanden frÄn dina fötter. Huset inkluderar WiFi, tvÀttmaskin / torktumlare, kabel-tv, dvd, telefon, kol bbq, boogie brÀdor och solstolar. We had an awesome stay at the iconic Pink House. Great communication and responsiveness from the host. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. There was a pack and play and high chair for our eighteen-month-old.The best part about this place though is easily the location. To be able to walk to the Kailua Beach can’t be beat. The market, Sunrise Shack, Island Snow, and Buzz’s are also within easy walking distance. It really makes the beach vacation top notch to not have to load up the car every time we want to go somewhere.Driving anywhere in town is 5-10 minutes away and you can get anything you need.We had an unforgettable family trip and hope to stay here again in the future!

Everything about our experience was fantastic. The house is super close to the beach, and is stocked with everything we needed for a great experience -- from towels to beach toys. Everyone we dealt with was very nice whether by email or phone. They answered our questions and were incredibly helpful. the house was clean and the entire experience was lovely.

Wonderful Beach Bungalow

The Pink House was a 10/10!! Perfect location to walk to the beach (very close). Easy walk to a local market, shops, breakfast, and Buzz’s Steak and seafood restaurant! 1 mile away is a Whole Foods and many other in town options and shopping. Highly recommend this excellent Beach House - very spacious inside and out.

My Favorite Beach

This property was perfect for what we needed it for. It is as advertised 100 yards across from my childhood beach. It was such an awesome experience walking the beach to watch the sunrise every morning! This place is perfect for families or a couple! Will be returning to the "Pink House"

Best vacation in 2023

Location and description of the property is on point. My only dissatisfaction include the lack of response from Angela, the property manager. Lisa, the host was most gracious in my request for an earlier check-in and that I appreciated so much. A notecard was left in the home regarding a visit from ADT along with Angela for maintenance to their alarm system the next day at 8:00- 9:00 am. What I asked for was the code to arm the alarm while we ventured out and she told me it’s only armed when the home is vacant. Really? Ok so I wondered why the inconvenience during our vacation? These issues could have been addressed prior to our arrival or once we checked out. It didn’t ruin our stay however just seemed odd. Overall, Lisa the host was most gracious in responding to my texts in a timely manner. The home is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with towels, kitchen pots and pans and A/C! Looking forward to a future stay here.

Perfect location for beach access! The surrounding area was easily walkable with several restaurants close by. There was plenty of room for everyone and would recommend this location for anyone visiting Oahu.

The pink house was perfect for our "big" anniversary vacation with our children and grandchild, 100 yards from an incredibly beautiful beach and beach park. Walkable into the town of Kailua and there's a market and awesome smoothie/breakfast place just around the corner! The house has plenty of room for all 6 of us (even an extra bed for when The 3 year old took over his parents' bed! and is well stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen. The property has beautiful plumeria trees and a fuschia shrub, so beautiful tropical flowers everywhere! We had the most wonderful 8 days we could imagine and can't wait to come back again!

My Family and I ended up at this Vrbo by chance! We had no booked somewhere else much further in advanced- so when that fell through we had to quickly look for other options. The house was big enough for my entire family & was just a few steps from the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The house was in a quiet neighborhood & was close to cute little eateries, shops & places to rent kayaks. Buzz’s Steakhouse was a 3 min walk— excellent food. Angela was our contact for the house & she responded promptly when we needed something. It’s great for families— it has a nice backyard & a covered patio in the front yard where you can sit & read or play games. I would love to stay here again.

Great Location, Cute House

The location at the beach was perfect. We watched the sunrise every morning. Kailua is perfect, nice little beach town but close drive to Waikiki and Honolulu. The house was well stocked and clean.

Great place for family

This house has everything you could need: lots of towels, dishes, beds (comfy), hangers, bathroom counter space, beach gear ... you name it! We really enjoyed our stay and it was great being walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a great and it has warm water! Perfect visit to Hawaii without feeling like a tourist!

Perfect location to beach & town

Loved the charm & feel of the house. So close to the ocean, well stocked, and beds were comfy. This was our 2nd time here and we will return in 2025. There is no better location.

Even better than it looks!

As if possible, this property is even better than depicted. The location literally borders the Kailua Beach Park. Walk out the front door, and across from the driveway is the grass of the park. Nothing but grass and sand between you and the water. The house is immaculate. It feels like a home, not a rental. The style is classic Hawai’ian bungalow, i.e., some odd spaces, but all functional. The large enclosed back porch is really integral to the house, and has 2 comfortable punees for lounging or sleep. We were there in September, and the coolness from the uncommonly found AC was heavenly. When the trade winds would fall off, we’d just close the jalousies and crank up the AC! Plenty of beach toys in the back (could use an update on one or two of the chairs). The carport functions as an outdoor dining area. Sit with your morning coffee and watch the sun rise. The house is well-appointed, with gobs of towels and kitchenware. Our concern over ambient noise from the adjacent Beach Park was unjustified – there is no real noise noticeable from the park at any time. We wanted for nothing, and will happily return.

I grew up in this house and loved growing up on Kailua Beach. I currently reside in San Francisco. I work in real estate and own residential apartments. I enjoy frequently traveling back to The Pink House in Kailua I also love to travel to Italy (San Remo, Rome, Venice), France (Paris, Nice, Lyon), and the UK (Gloucester, Cardiff, London).

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The Pink House has been in my family since 1955. It was bought by my parents two years after it was built. I grew up in this house and loved growing up on Kailua Beach. It was my parent's favorite beach so when they had the opportunity to buy this adorable home on the Kailua Beach Park they bought it. This home has had only had 2 owners, and the first owners built it and lived in it for 2 years when they sold it to my family. At the time, we did not have the Pali Tunnel to get to Kailua, just a winding Pali road that hugged the Pali mountain curves and steep cliffs. Since my Dad was a musician who worked nights, we were very happy when the Pali Tunnel was completed. One day my mother requested that we paint the house PINK, that was the beginning The Pink House!
We have loved our family home and love sharing it with other families over the years. One of our guests comes from Chicago every year for winter relief. She has been coming for so many years she feels the house is hers during her stay.
A lot of visitors feel the same way, very much at home in our home..The Pink House!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It is so wonderful to wake up to the view from the big picture window in the living room and look across the park at the beach. It is also pretty cool to just be able to dash across the park to the ocean. Nearby about a blocks walk is a shopping center for shave ice, pizza, paddle board, kayak rentals. Also a short walk to one of Kailua's best and famous restaurant, Buzz's Steakhouse There is also the famous Kalapawai Market which is one block away where you can get food , sunblock , postcards all while you pick up your morning coffee.
