Pink House är ett perfekt strandhus som ligger 100 meter från den vackra Kailua Beach. Detta Hawaiian Style Home har en öppen planlösning som innehåller en kombination av vardagsrum / matsal med ett kök med köksredskap i rostfritt stål. Från de främre vardagsrumsfönstren finns utsikt över Kailua Beach Park och havet. Intill det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet finns en hall där det finns 3 sovrum / 2 badrum. Det stora sovrummet och två andra sovrum har dubbelsängar. Båda badrummen har renoverats med bänkskivor i marmor och nya tegelgolv. Som en bonus på vardagsrummet är en Lanai som kan användas som ett extra sovrum med två queen size-sängar. Utanför finns en stor trädgård med en uteplats med utemöbler som kan användas för middagar. Efter en dag på stranden är utomhusduschen perfekt för att få sanden från dina fötter. Huset inkluderar WiFi, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, kabel-tv, dvd, telefon, kol bbq, boogie brädor och solstolar. The house was big enough for my entire family & was just a few steps from the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The house was in a quiet neighborhood & was close to cute little eateries, shops & places to rent kayaks. Buzz’s Steakhouse was a 3 min walk— excellent food. Angela was our contact for the house & she responded promptly when we needed something. It’s great for families— it has a nice backyard & a covered patio in the front yard where you can sit & read or play games. I would love to stay here again.

My Family and I ended up at this Vrbo by chance! We had no booked somewhere else much further in advanced- so when that fell through we had to quickly look for other options. Wonderful Beach Bungalow

The Pink House was a 10/10!! Perfect location to walk to the beach (very close). Easy walk to a local market, shops, breakfast, and Buzz’s Steak and seafood restaurant! 1 mile away is a Whole Foods and many other in town options and shopping. Highly recommend this excellent Beach House - very spacious inside and out.

Great Location, Cute House

The location at the beach was perfect. We watched the sunrise every morning. Kailua is perfect, nice little beach town but close drive to Waikiki and Honolulu. The house was well stocked and clean.

Perfect location to beach & town

Loved the charm & feel of the house. So close to the ocean, well stocked, and beds were comfy. This was our 2nd time here and we will return in 2025. There is no better location.

Great place for family

This house has everything you could need: lots of towels, dishes, beds (comfy), hangers, bathroom counter space, beach gear ... you name it! We really enjoyed our stay and it was great being walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a great and it has warm water! Perfect visit to Hawaii without feeling like a tourist!

Family trip

Loved the location right across the park from an awesome family friendly beach. The house was clean, with plenty of places to sleep and relax. Walking distance to shave ice, restaurants and a market that has coffee and sandwiches. Overall we were very pleased.

Perfect Kailua stay

We enjoyed our time at the Pink House and hope to stay here again! We really liked being able to walk across the lane to Kailua beach. The plumeria trees, beach sunrises, air conditioning, and all the home amenities made this a perfect stay! Thank you Lisa!

Perfect Location

This was our second time staying at the little pink house. We enjoy the location as it’s easy to walk to the beach and to Island Snow or the Market and other shops. We enjoyed everything and the place is great. Our only disappointment is in the beach chairs. Many were broken and unusable but other than that we had a great vacation.

My Favorite Beach

This property was perfect for what we needed it for. It is as advertised 100 yards across from my childhood beach. It was such an awesome experience walking the beach to watch the sunrise every morning! This place is perfect for families or a couple! Will be returning to the "Pink House"

PERFECT spot

We had a truly amazing stay at what we affectionately referred to as the Barbie dream house. The house was perfect, comfortable, clean… etc but the best part was location. Steps to the beach and so much to do on the Kailua side of the island. Walking distance to a few restaurants, market, and shave ice place as well. Highly highly recommended.

Island Get Away

The place was great. Pictures and listing are accurate. Everything was very pleasant. We have a great time and would easily recommend. There was a lot of street and park noise (esp weekends) given proximity to beach. Owner and house manager were both terrific and very responsive. Mahalo!!

Incredible location and house!

Beautiful open and airy house, spacious backyard and front yard. Hawaiian style home looks across the park lawn to the ocean. Location is in walking distance of everything. Sunrises on the beach very close by are amazing. You can also see the sunrise from the front yard. This house and property can’t be beat. We will definitely be back next year. Effortless check in and check out. property manager was extremely helpful and great to work with. We left our stay!

I grew up in this house and loved growing up on Kailua Beach. I currently reside in San Francisco. I work in real estate and own residential apartments. I enjoy frequently traveling back to The Pink House in Kailua I also love to travel to Italy (San Remo, Rome, Venice), France (Paris, Nice, Lyon), and the UK (Gloucester, Cardiff, London).

Varför värden valde detta boende

The Pink House has been in my family since 1955. It was bought by my parents two years after it was built. I grew up in this house and loved growing up on Kailua Beach. It was my parent's favorite beach so when they had the opportunity to buy this adorable home on the Kailua Beach Park they bought it. This home has had only had 2 owners, and the first owners built it and lived in it for 2 years when they sold it to my family. At the time, we did not have the Pali Tunnel to get to Kailua, just a winding Pali road that hugged the Pali mountain curves and steep cliffs. Since my Dad was a musician who worked nights, we were very happy when the Pali Tunnel was completed. One day my mother requested that we paint the house PINK, that was the beginning The Pink House!
We have loved our family home and love sharing it with other families over the years. One of our guests comes from Chicago every year for winter relief. She has been coming for so many years she feels the house is hers during her stay.
A lot of visitors feel the same way, very much at home in our home..The Pink House!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It is so wonderful to wake up to the view from the big picture window in the living room and look across the park at the beach. It is also pretty cool to just be able to dash across the park to the ocean. Nearby about a blocks walk is a shopping center for shave ice, pizza, paddle board, kayak rentals. Also a short walk to one of Kailua's best and famous restaurant, Buzz's Steakhouse There is also the famous Kalapawai Market which is one block away where you can get food , sunblock , postcards all while you pick up your morning coffee.
