Vårt hus är det enda som ligger på en offentlig strand i staden, där du kan gå ut genom dörren och vara direkt på stranden! Det ligger på cykelleden och ligger två kvarter från Dunkerque fyr, samt Point Gratiot Park. Det finns sjöutsikt från vardagsrummet, köket, solrummet veranda och 2: a våningen sovrummet. Det finns ett färdigt sovrum på baksidan av garaget som man måste gå igenom garaget för att komma till, det har 2 fulla sängar och har egen luftkonditionering. Det finns luftkonditionering i vardagsrummet, såväl som i båda sovrummen på övervåningen. Gå ut ur huset och gå vidare till Cedar Beach!

Det finns en sluten, privat uteplats utanför baksidan av huset som har ett täckt område med utemöbler för dig att använda och njuta av. Det finns gott om off-beach parkering med ett bil garage som hyresgästen kan använda. Det finns en propan grill grill i bakgården för dig att använda. Det finns en trevlig trädgård av stauder för att du också kan njuta av på bakgården. Huset är en trevlig blandning av stuga och strandhus.

Det finns två kajaker och två vuxna cyklar tillgängliga för användning.

This property is located right on the lake and you can walk down within 2-3 minutes. It’s also located close to everything in town but is secluded.

Perfect stay!

This is the second year my family and I have stayed at this property. It was wonderful both times! I appreciate how clean the house is and how well the house is stocked with essentials. One of my children in particular was so excited to stay here because of the toys and games she remembered from the year before. The owner is very quick to respond to messages and goes above and beyond! Highly recommend!

Perfect Place on the Beach!

This place was amazing. Gorgeous view of Lake Erie. Quiet, clean neighborhood. Beautiful restored house. Host went over and above when I left my iPad. She messaged me within an hour after checkout that she would mail it to me at no charge. Super great place to stay!

Lovely Lake Erie Stay

This was our second year staying at this property and it was again a lovely stay. The house is nice and private, set back from the road. Super easy and convenient access to the beach. If you want a few more waves it’s a quick walk to another beach area close by. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and Kathleen responded to any questions we had quickly. We hope to stay again next year!

Close to the beach!

My five sisters and our mom stayed here and we had a great time. The beach was close to the house and a park within walking distance. It had plenty of things to do at the house the well stocked with beach chairs and things for kids. Nice island with seating and a nice dining table as well. We go on a girls trip each year and stay some place new but we would definitely go back here.

This home is absolutely the best place to stay. From the fully stocked kitchen, every appliance imaginable to a room stocked with toys and games. This is the place to be. Walk right out onto Cedar beach. Great neighborhood and the house is,absolutely spotless!

Cozy Christmas on Lake Erie

So warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. A cute mantel decorated for the holidays in the living area. Soft blankets and towels, comfortable mattresses and just like home all around. Very clean, updated and new feeling. Will definitely be back for another stay!

Labor Day Getaway

My sister and I, with our kids and our mom visit the Dunkirk area every Labor Day. This was our first time staying at this property and it will not be our last! It was perfection. From the spectacular view, to the well maintained property, to the park within walking distance everything was perfection. Our hosts had everything we could possibly need and were excellent with communication. Thank you for an amazing stay! We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful cottage! Fantastic location on Lake Erie!

My best friend and I spent a wonderful weekend at this cottage. It was extremely clean, cozy and was exactly what we wanted. The home was stocked with all the essentials you might need. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace with a glass of wine and caught up. Would highly recommend!!

Sissies weekend

I spent the weekend with 5 of my sisters in law at this fabulous property. Our host Kathy was incredibly thoughtful! Not only did she provide us with all of the essentials, but there were many extras and little touches. She even has helpful hints everywhere to take any frustration out of your time there! The house is beautiful, and there was ample room for the six of us. There are more sleeping spaces than we could possibly use, even if all of the siblings came along. The property is right on the beach which made for beautiful views and easy access. Plus there is a beautiful grassy courtyard with a shaded relaxation area that just beckons you to take a nap. Truly this property and it's host are one of a kind. We will definitely be back!

I have been a City of Dunkirk resident for 28 years. I love my City and believe it has a lot to offer as a permanent place to live as well as a vacation destination! I work for the City of Dunkirk for the past 25 years and work in human resources. My husband Al and I live 2 short blocks from the Cedar Beach House, so we can be there for you if need be. It's a lovely area to live/rent.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The lake views are spectacular! There is lots of bird life to enjoy, as well as watching the boaters and beachcombers. The house is situated on a bike path. You can walk or bike on the path with the two vintage bicycles provided, through the public park. There is also a bird sanctuary beside the park that you can walk the wooded paths on. You can hunt beach glass right out your front door as well as bring a chair onto the beach and enjoy the sun, water, sand and a good book! The house is close to local restaurants. It is a short mile to the City Pier where there are free live bands that perform every Thursday night in the summer months.

Along with the lighthouse, there are many other interesting places to visit. The newly opened National Comedy Center is located in Jamestown, a 30 minute drive from the house. There is also Chautauqua Institution that has many cultural events in the summer. Roger Tory Peterson Institute is also located in Jamestown, and a longer drive, but still close is Niagara Falls. We are also located in the middle of the wine trail that runs along Route 5 from NY to PA!
