Bara 18 meter frÄn en avskild, ren och privat stenstrand Castlewood Cottage Àr liten, privat, totalrenoverad och vackert inredda. Utsökt detaljering hela!

Nytt kök med granit bÀnkskivor, nya apparater (skÄl lÄda, mikrovÄgsugn, gasspis och ugn, kylskÄp, Keurig och brödrost. Utanför finns en rostfri gasgasgrill.

Vardagsrummet har en 51 "plattskÀrms-TV, Hampton-gasspis och ett Rinnai-uppvÀrmningssystem. Solen veranda serverar som matplats men har ocksÄ en liten dag sÀng för ytterligare sovande. (1 person)

Den nedre vÄningen har ett badrum samt ett mysigt sovrum som erbjuder en dubbelsÀng.

Waking up to sunrise over the water and nearby harbor is so nice. The house has everything possibly needed if you just want to chill out at home, which we did frequently, and we're not talking about garage-sale finds for pots, pans, dishware, cooking utensils, etc. It is all very nice stuff and the kitchen has good, quality appliances, too. The entire home is absolutely nice inside and out. Well cared for. The bed was quite comfy which is very important to a good trip. Although it seems remote, it is not more than 15 minutes' drive to a number of decent places to eat. If you want to explore, the sky is the limit in the area. We've been to Maine a number of times though and do tire quickly of the salty prices for very average food. Nonetheless, we had plenty of it though. We found many restaurants do not keep advertised hours meaning they were closed when we got there. This led to at least one amazing discovery for food and another on the exact opposite end of the desirable spectrum! It was the end of the season when we arrived, so some places mostly just shutdown.The owner, Gordon, was thoughtfully communicative about travel, check-in and was hands-off after we arrived (thanks). This is great place to stay and is every bit as beautiful as any of the photos. We highly recommend this property. You'll be far happier here than being stuck in any of the nearby tourist trap communities. Thank you again for this beautiful property.

Beautiful quaint, cozy cottage with amazing views. Clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. Great master bedroom with amazing view overlooking the bay (great views from all rooms). A nice peaceful place to relax after spending a few days at Acadia and Bar Harbor. We all enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Close to rockland and port Clyde. Amazing property on the water of a beautiful lobstering harbor. It was our second stay and we are planning another next year.

Always a delight

This was our fifth year staying a month and we didn’t want to leave! Staying here is a delight. The setting and views are unmatched in mid-coast Maine. The house is charming, well decorated and fully equipped. We have booked for next year for a month, and can’t wait to return.

Another great stay at Owl's Head

Our 4th time staying here and hasn't disappointed yet. A perfect couples getaway. Right on water, close to all theOwl's Head/Rockland area has to offer but with a secluded feel. Owners are awesome with great communication.

Maine Heaven

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful home overlooking the ocean. The home was cozy, very clean, has everything you could possibly need and the views simply spectacular. Listening to the lobster boats puttering out of the harbor, watching shore birds running along the beach and the evening sunsets were simply magical. So quiet and peaceful. We even saw a bald eagle land in the maple tree next to the house -- now you don't see THAT everyday. We hope to return again soon!!
