Otrevlig förfining! Söt utsikt över Mussel Ridge Channel, Owls Head hamnen och Atlanten från alla fönster. Njut av det lugna, lugnande ljudet av havet medan du kopplar av i denna unika och eleganta stuga. Perfekt för en liten familj eller par på semester.

Bara 18 meter från en avskild, ren och privat stenstrand Castlewood Cottage är liten, privat, totalrenoverad och vackert inredda. Utsökt detaljering hela!

Nytt kök med granit bänkskivor, nya apparater (skål låda, mikrovågsugn, gasspis och ugn, kylskåp, Keurig och brödrost. Utanför finns en rostfri gasgasgrill.

Vardagsrummet har en 51 "plattskärms-TV, Hampton-gasspis och ett Rinnai-uppvärmningssystem. Solen veranda serverar som matplats men har också en liten dag säng för ytterligare sovande. (1 person)

Den nedre våningen har ett badrum samt ett mysigt sovrum som erbjuder en dubbelsäng.

Den andra våningen är Master Suite, som erbjuder en king size-säng, 2 byråer, en stor garderob, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, en 51 "plattskärms-TV, en 1/2 bad och en härlig sittgrupp med otrolig utsikt.

Maine Heaven

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful home overlooking the ocean. The home was cozy, very clean, has everything you could possibly need and the views simply spectacular. Listening to the lobster boats puttering out of the harbor, watching shore birds running along the beach and the evening sunsets were simply magical. So quiet and peaceful. We even saw a bald eagle land in the maple tree next to the house -- now you don't see THAT everyday. We hope to return again soon!!

Thanksgiving, coastal paradise

The Castlewood Cottage is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a 180° view of Owls Head Harbor is magnificent. The yard, beach and water views are memorizing! Watching the waterfowl was awesome! We saw: Loon. Mergansers, surf Scoters and best of all Long-tailed ducks. I made a lovely non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner that included Lobster. We dined at Long Grain in Camden, it was Fabulous. We had a MOST MEMORABLE meal at Primo on our last night. We could not have planned a better Thanksgiving holiday. We will definitely return the Castlewood Cottage. Thank you!

Lovely house on the water

Spent 3 nights in October and thoroughly enjoyed the property. Hostess greeted us at the house and was very kind to get the television set up so we could watch the NBA games and ensure we were settled. House was spotless, has fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and a wonderful view of Penobscot Bay. Was easy to find with GPS. Would highly recommend.

A true treasure in Maine

You could not ask for a better house on all levels, in Maine or anywhere else. Gordon was incredible with communication and just ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The house is perfect, the beds incredibly comfortable, it’s extremely private and is equipped with just about anything you could ever need. I didn’t want to leave! My kids also enjoyed playing at the beach, comfortably slept and loved the stay as well.
