Fun family vacation home!

We loved DoctorsOrdersDestin! The house had many areas for our family to hang out. The neighborhood is cute and the private pool was very popular with our kiddos. They didn't even want to go to the beach-just the pool! We used our beach tent at the pool to give us a nice shady area. The owner was responsive with our questions.

Family vacation 2019

We loved this house. It was just right for our family of 12. We didn’t feel cramped. The bikes provided were very nice to get all our stuff to the beach! We enjoyed the pool too.

Great place to stay for your family

Doctors Orders 2 was a perfect house for our family of 10. There was room for everyone and our 11 year old grandson loved the 3rd floor crow's nest. The kitchen was wonderful with every appliance you might need. The short walk to the beach was great and as advertized, the beach was not at all crowded. The kid's had a great time in the pool also. Location was perfect to everything we wanted to do. Would stay there again!

Beautiful home, short walk to private beach

We had a wonderful stay here! This home is on a dead end street, quiet and private. The pool was perfect for a dip to cool off and hang out when we wanted time off from the beach. It’s a short walk to the beach where we had access to a private section of Crystal Beach. Beach is stunning! After a long day of fun and sun, we came back to rest up in this beautiful home. Ken and Franni were very responsive to our messages. We will be back!

Quiet peaceful tropical retreat.

Our family of 4 enjoyed every inch of this stunning property. The covenant private beach access as well as private beach accommodations made for a very relaxing 7day stay. Comfy beds, beach accessories, bikes, pool, multiple flat screened smart TV's and several screened in porches all with a variety of beautiful views. The high end linens and tropical decor was enjoyed by all. This place was light, bright updated and aesthetically pleasing. This peaceful beach retreat was sparkly clean with a well appointed kitchen & updated appliances, washer/dryer that my family truly benefitted from during our week long stay. You won't want to miss taking in the stunning sunsets every night on the breathtakingly beautiful white sandy beach. We were thrilled to have found this beautiful island gem. 🏖🏝đŸč

Family Vacation

“Doctor’s Orders” has a wonderful pool and the private neighborhood with private beach access is what makes this house amazing. Unfortunately we did have to deal with gas/plumbing repairs (apparently previous tenant left and grill stopped working and then a permanent gas grill line was being installed) and an HVAC repairman check (no HVAC complaints from us) both while we were there. As a fellow owner of rental properties I understand the need to schedule things but it was a bummer to have multiple interruptions. I also appreciated the attentiveness of the owners but also prefer less communication unless I feel the need to reach out. Overall the house was very nice and I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Just what my doctor ordered!!!!

Our stay at Doctors Orders Destin was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the serene ambiance of this beautiful property. The interior of the beach house is clean, cozy and perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends or family! Every room is tastefully decorated, with touches that make you feel right at home. The spacious living area was perfect for game night, and the screen in porches were perfect for morning coffee! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and we loved preparing meals while listening to music together. The bedrooms are comfortable and airy, with plush beds and linens that were clean and very comfortable! The bathrooms are were updated and clean as well. One of the highlights of our trip was the expansive deck and private pool. We spent countless hours lounging on the deck chairs, sipping coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The location of the beach house is ideal, offering both convenience and tranquility! We can't wait to visit again soon. 5 stars all around!!

July family vacation

The house was beautiful and the layout was perfect for our group! The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly think of for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the screened in covered porches! We were able to enjoy the outdoors even through an afternoon of rainy weather. It was nice to have the grill in a covered area so close to the kitchen also! The front room with the covered porch was a perfect spot for my mom to sit and watch the grandkids in the pool. The pool was very nice and well maintained. The walk to the beach was short and nice and it was great to have the private area of beach that wasn’t so crowded! The owners were wonderful and very quick to respond when I had questions prior to our visit. We definitely would stay here again and would recommend to other families as well!

Great home for families, and short walk to the beach!

My parents, my family, and my sister's family had a wonderful stay at Doctor's Orders 2! The house location is great-- located at the end of a dead-end street, so we had very little traffic. It is an easy walk to the private beach gate at the end of the street, and the owners provide a wagon along with beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys to use during the stay. The house has a big living room downstairs and also four balconies/porches to hang out on. We utilized the big coffee table in the living room for puzzles and other crafts during the week. We enjoyed listening to the frogs, toads, birds and other wildlife in the lush area behind the house. The pool in front of the house was a big hit with our teens (and parents too!), it was a great place to hang out and cool off during the day. The owners are very responsive to any questions or needs-- I highly recommend Doctor's Orders 2 if you need a place to stay in Destin!

Truly what the doctor ordered...

From the location at the end of a quiet street, to the beach access an easy two blocks away, to the top floor deck - our family had a wonderful time unwinding and recharging. House was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the beach chairs were an added plus to not have to travel with so much "stuff". And the beach access - so happy to have picked a place that didn't require driving/parking/sharing public beach access with the masses. When back in Destin, will definitely stay here again.

Fun family getaway for an 85th birthday!

Incredible location with close easy access to the white sand beaches of Destin while being in a quiet neighborhood. Easy check in, house super clean, contents of house tasteful, arty and functional, lots of kitchen cookware and eating utensils of high quality plus numerous beach toys and 4 cruiser bikes. Owner very responsive before, during and after our visit. Have wonderful memories! Feeling very thankful.

Owner addressed any issues in timely manner. Short 5 min walk to the beach which was much less crowded than the public beaches. Well worth it. Lots of sand toys, few umbrellas and some wagons on property already which was great.

Great location

You honestly can’t get closer to the beach then be in the beach. The walk is super short, and they aren’t kidding when they say private beach is nice! It was super crowded everywhere else. Master bedroom bed was super comfy- having a washer and dryer was awesome, and they have so many beach accessories for the kids! Frannie was quick to respond and check in! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

Doctors Orders 2 was the perfect house for our big group. The kids loved the pool and getting to feed the turtles, that live in the lake, bread. It’s only a short walk to the beach. There are stairs going down to the beach that are a little hard when hauling a bunch of things, but the hosts provide wagons and beach carts, which helps a lot. The house was clean and comfortable. The hosts are very attentive to their guests!

Very nice property, & attentive host. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The neighborhood seems to be under revocation in a lot of homes. Each day we were a bit annoyed with all the jack hammering, & construction going on. Our vehicles were blocked in by worker vehicles parking at the dead end on most days. The other draw back was the walk to get to the beach, originally I thought it was a path to take through the neighborhood, but it wasn't. In order to get to the beach you must walk from the property to the beginning of Sunfish St & then cross a busy street. Toting 9 children, & beach equipment was a CHORE. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Sunny weather, soft sand, & crystal clear blue water.

I’ve seen it throughout my journey as a property manager. I remember when I met the owner of Doctors Order prior to purchasing it. I commented to him about how things were pretty beat up and his reply told me a lot. He said, “why bother fixing this stuff as the renters will just tear it up”.

So while most owners have the mindset that it saves them money to with hold the nicest things they have from you, I realize that it is those nice things that will make you feel good about the place you choose as a Destin Fl rentals. When I do upgrades on any of my homes, I always go top of the line. I’m never frivolous, but the wife and I do not skimp. We want you to feel like your vacation is at a place that is nicer in many ways than your own home. We want you to be able to enjoy all the activities that the area calls for.

So for the Crystal Beach area, everybody should be able to enjoy a bike ride, or go kayaking in the ocean. This is why at our beach house rental we have all those things, and share them with you. We also see those wonderful Beach Umbrellas and Chairs that you can have if you shell out $35 every day. We think you should have those too, so we had some made up with our custom logo on them. When you choose Doctors Orders out of all the Destin Fl rentals, you will notice things like a top of the line BBQ, Keurig and Cuisanart coffee makers, new pots and pans, glasses, adorable Bedspreads, etc.. All of this is part of the mantra that if you love our house as much as we do, you will treat it with respect.
