Vackra sjön timmerstuga för uthyrning. Det är fullt utrustad med köksredskap och sängkläder. Du behöver bara ta med dina kläder och mat. Det är bara 40 fot från vattnet av Bethea Lake, som ligger i Suwannee County, Wellborn, Florida. Vilda djur såsom vilda kalkoner, olika arter av änder och sjöfåglar, rådjur och tvättbjörnar är flitiga besökare.

Alligatorer och olika arter av fisk som bas, bluegill, specifikationer, och havskatt finns i sjön. Det är en mycket lugn och avkopplande plats att tillbringa en lång eller kort semester. Perfekt för bas fiskare, konstnärer och författare. Också en underbar vinter reträtt från snön. Snowbirds välkomna.

Det finns många aktiviteter i närheten. Lake City, som har shopping och restauranger, ligger bara 15 minuter bort. Flygplatser (Jacksonville-1 1/2 timmar, Gainesville-1 timme, Lake City- 30 min.) I närheten av högskolor (University of Florida-1 timme, Santa Fe Community examen på in- stitut- 45 minuter, Lake City Community College-30-35 min). Stephen Foster Memorial på Suwannee River - 20 minuter. Olika fjädrar / floder för dykning / snorkling / bad / slangar - 30 minuter. St Augustinus är 1 1/2 timme. Gulf kusten är 1 timme. Suwannee River Music Park är 20 minuter.

Perfect getaway!

Michael was an amazing host and the cabin is perfect. It’s so quiet and serene, you basically have the whole lake to yourself. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Wonderful getaway

This cabin is wonderful. Quiet and secluded, but close to I-10 and I-75. The host, Michael, is very attentive and strived to make our stay perfect in every way.

Perfect get away

This property was just perfect for a peaceful getaway in the north Florida country. Host was great helping us get settled and left us to enjoy this awesome location in seclusion. We kayaked, fished, and slept well. It is a great escape for those tired of overdeveloped or big city congestion. A wonderful reminder of what is wonderful about Florida and the natural environment other counties are so quick to eliminate and develop. Just beautiful. Visited nearby springs and were amazed. This is close to I 75 and yet feels so rural and unspoiled. Would definitely stay her again!

Everything about this cabin is perfect, the scenery, location, owner’a hospitality. I enjoyed every second spent there. Is the perfect place to relax away from the city and the same time is close to restaurants and essential needs. We will definitely come back!

Amazing remote office view

Working out of town for a few weeks and did not want to be cooped up in a hotel room for that amount of time. What an amazing option this property was! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The “office view” was incredible!

Above and beyond

This place was everthing i hoped for and more. It was quiet and peaceful and not another Soul around. clean and beautiful right down to the fresh flowers in the cabin. The owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. the surrounding nature with everything you could ask for. I can't wait to go again

Short get away

Great place to get away and relax. Great view overlooking lake. Just 15 minutes from lake city and 30 from ichetucknee springs. The host Michael was great. I spoke to him about the fishing in the lake and when he got there to check us in he had brought me some bait to fish with. We had a bad storm come thru and he text me to make sure all was good. He didn’t have to do either of these but he did and it was greatly appreciated. If you are looking for some peace and quiet this is the place to go. It’s not real big so it’s perfect for one or two people. I will definitely look this place up if I ever stay in that area again.

A Perfect Fishing Retreat

This is our second time staying at Do Duck Inn, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The property is beautiful and private, and the lake is well-stocked with bass and bream. We went out on the water several times a day, every day, and only once saw another person (though we did see a rather large, but shy, gator)! We cooked out every night on the charcoal grill which made the food taste so much better than cooking on gas, and the evenings afterward were spent having long conversations sitting out by the fire pit. We especially enjoyed the hot tub for relaxing those muscles strained after hours of fishing! The cabin is charming and cozy, well stocked with everything you could need, and the beds are very comfortable. The screened-in porch is perfect for sipping a cup of coffee (or a mimosa) and watching the sun come up. Michael is welcoming and friendly and the best kind of host. He met us at the cabin when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed, including his contact information should a need arise. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be, and we didn’t want to leave! If you are looking for a getaway to fish and relax, the Do Duck Inn is the perfect place!

Relaxing Anniversary Getaway

Wow! I don't really know where to start because there are so many amazing things to say about this hidden gem of a property! My husband and I spent the weekend here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Even though we arrived late Friday evening, Michael met us at the cabin and showed us where everything was and how everything worked, etc. His attention to detail as a host from the fresh flowers, to the robes for the hot tub, to the fishing tackle and gear and the supplies for the fire made our trip that much more enjoyable. The cabin and property itself is a perfect, relaxing, and peaceful paradise! The cabin is small and cozy and well equipped with everything you need. And the property and lake! There aren't enough words to describe how absolutely beautiful it is! It is so quiet and peaceful and you feel like you are alone and hours away from everything, yet you are only 15 minutes away from town and everything you need. We enjoyed waking up to stunning sunrises that you can see from the bed, seeing the wildlife (birds, bald eagles, turtles, and a gator), utilizing the kayaks and fire pit that is provided, and just relaxing! It really was the best way to celebrate our anniversary and we can't wait to go back! We would love to make it an annual tradition.

Most Fantastic Place on Earth- Cabin on a Lake

Not sure where to start, from the moment we saw it our breath was taken away. If you want a nice romantic cabin with the greatest host who have everything ready the moment you get there then don't let this slip through your fingers. We spent 6 days and every morning we had the most beautiful sunrise over the lake. We fished in the morning, afternoon, and the evening right from the pier (I would take the canoe out early early in the morning and catch 5 to 8 fish in less then an hour. We sometimes would be fishing till we couldn't see our corks any longer. We had a great fire in the ring pit with all the best firewood provided. I cooked twice on the grill outside, once on the wood burning grill and once on the gas grill. Lake City is not far, but we enjoyed going to Live Oak for lunch. The host recommended places to eat and for lunch you can't beat the Brown Lantern in Live Oak. There is plenty of wildlife in the area, we had a small gator up by the cabin pier one day, but never saw him again. One evening the host called us and told us there was a bobcat on their walkway to their pier adjacent to our cabin, it was awesome and we took many pictures. Now one thing I never saw in any reviews was any talk about the butterflys, I mean every color of butterfly you could imagine were there every day and at night the singing by the frogs was just amazing, I know who could get excited about hearing frogs, well if you ever go there you will see what I am talking about. There is so much to say about this place, I am trying to remember, but I know I will forget something. The host provides the fishing poles, canoe, kayak, hot tub, screen porch, and free wifi (which we had very little time using because of all the other things. The place is kept up so nice and it is just a place to go and relax. The host never bothers you, but is always available if you have any questions. I don't want you think you are a hop, skip, and jump to any big city, this cabin is out in God's country and you are all by your self. We saw one other canoe on the lake one day and that was it for the whole week. The Lake is not a public type lake which makes it great, but swimming should not be done, if you missed my mention of the gator, you might want to go back and read it above. If you are looking for a place for 2 people to have a romantic, relaxing trip, here it is. Visited Aug 4 - 10, 2018

Wonderful and relaxing!

My husband and I had a great time at this property celebrating our anniversary. The cabin is perfectly set up and the owner thought of everything. The place was clean and the linens all smelled great. You could actually walk around barefoot and didn't get dirty feet. LOL I know that sounds silly, but I loved how clean it was. When we arrived and entered the cabin there were fresh flowers on the table and music was on to welcome us. We were able to catch an incredible full moon rising in the evening (thanks to Michael giving us a text heads up) and a beautiful sunrise while sipping our coffee on the dock over the water. We will definitely visit again!!

Great Birthday Get Away

This quaint little cabin is a great getaway from city life. It would make a lovely writer's retreat. Summers in Florida are extremely hot, so we did not get to utilize the outdoor amenities, but the cabin is well equipped. The property is less than an hour from Gainesville and about 20 minutes from Lake City. As the property owner warns, there are alligators in the lake. We never saw any, but could hear them purring in the water during the early morning hours.

Quaint, Clean, Quiet

My husband and I stayed 3 nights for our anniversary weekend. We decided to keep it low key and out of the crowds. We live in Florida, so we knew it was going to be raining. Even with nasty weather we had a good time. We played scrabble and had brought a puzzle for the rainy times. Watched the sunrise from the dock (SO BEAUTIFUL) and just relaxed... We did not get on the lake in the canoe but plan on going back, so thats on the to do list! We were able to grill out one night. The cabin was very clean, and stocked with nice cookware. We had no issues, but I am sure if we did, I could just text Michael and he would make it right. We were informed before our visit that the hot tub broke and he was not able to get the repair guy in before we arrived. He made it right for us and we appreciated that. I think next time we will bring another couple and get the fire pit going! We will be back! Thanks for everything Michael!
