Refreshing stay :)

We stayed for three nights with our two teenage daughters. They saw the layout of the home of 3 others staying in Sunriver and both agreed that this home was their favorite! We loved the giant windows and All the natural light and cute layout. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was functional and pleasant to cook in. We hope to stay there again :)

Perfect little place for small family. Very efficient use of space and a little walk or short bike ride to SHARC!

Small Family Vacation

This place is small but that’s what we wanted. Gives a great cabin feel and makes you feel like you’re on vacation. My wife and I have 2 kids 6 & 11 and our youngest slept with my wife on one of the beds, my oldest, daughter, loved the loft fold out bed and I slept in the upstairs bedroom. My daughter also loved the desk in the loft. She used it for her computer and playing games etc. Fun place.

Great weekend getaway!

This little A frame home was the perfect little getaway for our weekend in sunriver. The hot tib was a wonderful addition that we used frequently. Besides some blood spots on the sheets and residual dirt on the floor the home was clean and well kept. The images were accurate and the home was well stocked with dishes and linens. Would stay bere again!

Highly recommend

Just as advertised...clean, spacious and great location close to everything. We biked everywhere and very much enjoyed the house. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Awful

This house was a IKEA nightmare! Plumbing backed up. Was remodeled cheap. There were three of us and was small. Shower upstairs to small to even use. Curtains were shear so needed sleep mask and no privacy during the day. No lights on hot tub area so couldn’t use in the evening time. If you are cooking your meals good luck finding pots and pans you need (thrift store is where we went) who wants to do that on vacation. The door was a nightmare to get unlocked sometimes took three minutes. And seriously IKEA furniture is not comfortable at all. I feel we should have got a discount for the plumbing problem.

Clean Home!

The home was beautiful and clean! The property was lovely and the location was great. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend using the management company affiliated with this rental (Vacasa). Our check in date was 7/1 and we did not gain access to the home until the next day 7/2. The access code was left out of the space it was supposed to be provided on the email. We called several numbers, texted the numbers suggested on the automated system and messaged in the app with no response on check in day 7/1. Luckily, we had family to stay with that first night. We were able to get the code the next day 7/2 by finding someone to talk to physically. The company did not take any accountability for the mistake and we still paid for all of the nights on the reservation although we had no way to get in the first night.

Beautiful home, terrible check in

Before addressing the beautiful home and location I cannot understate how terrible the check in process was. The wrong code was sent in the online check in instructions and once the correct code was retrieved. A key that didn’t allow entry to the property was retrieved. So it took two hours of being on the phone with an ineffective Vacasa system after a day of travel to get access to the home. Someone physically had to come to the house and brought the correct key. Would not recommend Vacasa based off of that alone. However the home itself was exactly as described with beautiful light and nice details throughout. The Sunriver location seemed very quiet and family friendly.

Nice, relaxing place !

Ski trip

Big Downsides Outweigh Good Things

Two huge downsides: 1. The WiFi is poor and will not support business video meetings over zoom or similar nor Netflix or similar. 2. Guests who book through Vacasa and other 3rd parties to Sunriver are denied access to The Cove, the sweet resort type pool area with 2 poolside bars, 2 slides, and various pools. This is an unwritten policy you won’t see an any websites. You’re welcome in advance. We had other minor gripes but it is a nice house with a nice hot tube and other resort amenities are fine. The SHARC is overrated- you often have to wait in line to access it and it’s more of a community pool feel. Overall Sunriver is best for propeller used to a lot, and I mean a lot if HOA type rules.

Summer family vacation at sunshine in Sunriver

Pros: Great location to the Sharc and the village. The house had central AC and lots of fans. Semi updated house. Cons: did not have direct bike path access . Kitchen utensils were limited example: 4 very very small forks. Maintenance issues , ants seen upstairs every evening, sliding doors to upstairs balcony were very hard to move. Bathroom fan sounded like it was breaking, My husband cut his hand on a screw that was overhanging wood when putting trash away in outside can . Washer/ dryer combo was run once and my husband noticed leaking. Overall would not stay here again. We have stayed at many other Sunriver rentals that may not have looked as nice and updated but were taken care of and maintained. The

property at Sunshine in Sunriver

This A frame is cozy and roomy. The beds and furniture are comfortable. One wall is all windows which connects you to the outdoors. The hot tub is nice to get in at night and it's nice to have the option for a fire. The sliding glass doors downstairs have no screens so there was a bit of a problem with flies and you don't have access to the upstairs porch as that sliding glass door and screen don't open easily if at all. This is our third trip here. We'll be back.

Good choice for two adults and two children

Great location and nice house. Arrived to no AC the first day, 90 degrees outside, 80 inside. Fans were brought to us. AC fixed the next day.

Cute little Sunriver house!!

It was perfect for 2 people but there was definitely room for a couple more if you don’t mind being cozy. The hot tub was awesome, beds were comfortable, the gas grill was amazingly clean and worked great, the entire house was clean and comfortable. It’s the first time I had ever seen a all in one washer and dryer. I have to say, I didn’t love it but it got the job done and honestly I didn’t go on a two day vacation to do laundry anyway. Oh and the home has a regular coffee maker. You never know anymore if your going to find a Keurig style or the good old school coffee ground style. I looked before heading out and didn’t see that specific info so there ya go!! I recommend this place and would book it again. For those that weren’t satisfied, they should up their budget👍

Great spot

Great spot for a weekend ski trip. The SHARC center seemed awesome but we didn't visit on this trip. The town center is full of shops and places to eat. The home has most of what you need but we didn't spend a lot of time in it. The hot tub was clean and worked great.
