Ursprungligen byggdes 1890 som ett hus för att rymma landets tranbärsmöstrakter, var detta pittoreska lilla stuga uppgraderat till ett år runt hem 1980. Det ligger på 3/4 av en tunnland avskild skog och har sin egen väg till den privata delen av Lambert's Cove Beach - en 4 minuters promenad tar dig till toppen med utsikt över sanden och Vineyard Sound bortom. Själva huset är charmigt och ljust, fullt av rustika detaljer och anpassade ytor. Fullt utrustat kök, mysigt vardagsrum m / dagbädd, vedspis, en semi-wrap-around däck med kolgrill och utomhusdusch; Allt du hör är ljudets ljud och vågorna kraschar till stranden i fjärran. På övervåningen hittar du två sovrum, ett med en full size säng och ett med två enkelsängar, gott om garderob och ett välutrustat 3/4 bad. Vi ser fram emot att välkomna dig hemma!

Great beach

The house is quaint and rustic - the peace a quiet was incredible- and the walk to the beach and then the view from the top of the hill is the best I have ever seen on MV!

Beautiful cottage

This is our third year staying at our favorite cottage on the Vineyard. Clean, cozy and yards from one of the most beautiful beaches in New England. We hope to return for many years to come!

A magical spot

This charming cottage has everything you need for a seaside getaway. The wooded path leading to Lambert's Cove is a definite bonus.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! This is a spectacular location with the very short walk down a wooded path to the beach at Lambert's Cove. It was a nice location for food and shopping at Vineyard Haven and visiting our friends in Chilmark. I recommend you arrive during daylight hours as we did - I think it might be tough to find the place for the first time at night. Also, the size of the cottage is perfect for a couple but would work well with one or two small children in the smaller bedroom. Recommended!

Always magical!

Love this rustic house so much- we are regular renters and just love The Bog House and Lambert’s Cove beach. Early morning walks, sunsets and stargazing make it a perfect getaway!

Cozy cottage with amazing beach access

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage in the woods. The kitchen is fully equipped except for a microwave and the gas grill works perfectly. The bed was soft, but comfortable. The best part was that you're nestled in nature with private access to Lambert's Cove Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway!

Great beach access, but no reading inside

Easy access to a great beach is biggest attribute! We loved it, but we had good weather. But there is no comfortable place to sit inside and only central lights hanging from ceiling; no good for reading. Details: No microwave as listed; good A/C not listed; no directions for TV, so no local news/weather available; smoke detectors removed; no departure instructions for laundry or trash. Seems like the listing has been coasting on beach access, w/o attention to some details. But we had a great time at the beach!

Cozy Getaway in a Wonderful Spot

This simple house in the middle of a secluded property is just what our family wanted for a peaceful getaway. Walk to a stunning beach; take a quick drive to unforgettable hikes; enjoy the quiet of the house and woods. Lambert's Cove is a great location in and of itself and a great starting point for exploring all of Martha's Vineyard.

Perfect Vineyard Escape

Perfect rustic get away - private path to the best beach

Perfect beach getaway

Our family loves this compact cottage by the sea. This is our second summer and we have already booked for next year. The Bog House comes with everything you need for a great stay Our family of four was comfortable and we loved being able to walk (3 minutes) to the best beach on the Vineyard - Lambert's Cove. The owners are responsive to questions, the cottage clean, and again, the easy access to the beach is the best. We can't wait to stay again.

Charming Cottage

This was such a sweet and cozy, very charming cottage! It was incredible to be so close to the beach and have access to it. It Felt very private, while also being convenient to so many things. It was very well furnished and we really enjoyed our stay, thank you!
