Great for a COUPLE

Pros: Very clean, great view. Cons: the couch is said to be a queen that sleep 2, it is VERY uncomfortable for sleeping. There were no towels in the bathroom or kitchen which was REALLY inconvenient since there was a terrible storm amd water was flooding in from the patio doors in the living room. I spent the evening mopping up water to keep it away from our sleeping area

Over all exactly what we expected. Downstairs neighbors were extremely loud after midnight. I tried to reach Dan by email and phone to ask a question, but he never replied.

Location!!!!!

This condo is a minimalist dream but bring your own toiletries; soap, shampoo, etc. Location is amazing. All the basics but limited on a few things. Forks, spoons, etc. Communication with host took a minute but once we were in contact things were fine. I loved it. Would stay again.

Oak Bluffs Apartment

Property was new and in good condition and location was very good for a stay at Oak Bluffs. Check in time was late in the day, 5:00 with no considerations to check in earlier. The amenities were scarce. When we arrived, there was only one set of towels and only hand soap for 4 people. When we requested additional supplies we were given 2 more sets of towels and a couple of bars of soap. The pull-out bed that was to accommodate two additional people not staying in the bedroom was very uncomfortable. Frankly speaking, you could find better places to stay on the island.

Best Location!

The pro’s: steps from the ferry terminal, carousel, shopping, restaurants, beach, gingerbread houses, and more! Spotlessly clean. Everything in working order. Very cute! Detailed and clear instructions were sent to email and text. The con’s: listing said sleeps four, but beyond the king size bed, there is only one couch that I wouldn’t count as a pullout. The listing should say sleeps two plus a couch. There were only bath towels for two people, and no beach towels. I texted and left a voicemail with two simple questions and did not receive a reply. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but with only two people next time.

MV Trip!

We had a wonderful trip to Martha’s Vineyard! This was a great location in Oak Bluffs, very walkable to everything nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Great apartment. Great location. Bigger than I expected. All new appliances. Clean. Very minimal furnishing (no side tables or coffee table in the living room) We loved our stay here and plan to stay again.

Best Possible Location

Fantastic location right on the water and just steps to the ferry and shops and restaurants. Balcony overlooking the ocean was amazing! Would definitely return if we’re in Martha’s Vineyard again.

Terrific

We have stayed before and will again. Amazing location could not be any better. If you love a perfect sunrise or to people watch this is the place for you. The bed was comfy and rooms were very clean. We needed to talk to the owner and conveniently found him right downstairs. There are pay laundry machines that you share with neighbors. So convenient to restaurants and ferry. We took the fast ferry from New Bedford which lands right across the street. We love Dockside beach and to watch the ferries come and go.

Great spot with onsite Laundry and plenty of space. The location could not be better walking distance to all ferries and taxis. Perfect place for Beach Roach Weekend.

Wow! Perfect stay

Which I could have stayed longer. Perfectly advertised. In fact it’s better in person. Large, pristeen, modern 1 bedroom, with amazing view of the harbor- across the street from the Oak Bluffs ferry and next to my fav restaurant Lookout Tavern. Very responsive property manager.

This property is clean and located in an exceptional location although it is very sparse in furnishings. There is no table in the living room to rest a drink or place your items while watching TV and the TV is very low so you feel like you are looking down. The sofa is not very comfortable and it’s cumbersome to bring your own towels. However, it’s still good for a quick stay.

Lacking….

The location of the apartment is super convenient for ferry, rentals, beach, bus, dining, & shopping. It’s new and clean, but there are some points to be aware of. It’s right next to a busy Tavern, so there is foot traffic in the area, but the noise from the Tavern was not a problem. The kitchen is very sparse. Not even enough utensils for our group of three. Any cooking, other than reheating can be a challenge. There was 1 set of bath towels provided, but no hand towels, or beach towels. I emailed the owner several times to ask about sleeping on the couch, but I never got a reply. The couch is not a sofa bed, and more than one adult, would be tight. The walls of the apartment are paper thin & you can hear your neighbors, like they are in the same apartment. Which is a problem if they have crying babies, or loud kids who wake up early. The laundry machine, which is in a shared hallway, cost $3 per load to wash and $3 per load to dry. There is no soap provided-not even hand soap, or dishwasher soap. If you bring what the apartment is lacking, enjoy the views and the sights of MV.

Amazing Location

We had trouble finding the door as it was on the side of the building but we called the property manager and they answered right away and showed us where to get it. The view was amazing and to our surprise the sound proofing in the room was really good. Located next to lookout tavern I expected to hear loud noises all night and we heard nothing. We are definitely looking to rent this place for a weekend get away in the future.

Great location with beautiful views

Scenic beautiful views. Apartment is nicely done and modern. Location is really fabulous we enjoyed convenience of being next to lookout tavern and near all of oak bluffs town center. Few things not great we arrived and someone else’s trash was still in apartment and was never removed which was a turn off. Owner was apologetic. The unit next door to this one you can hear everything through the walls. The people next to this unit partied every night and made a lot of noise so that was annoying. Shared porch so no real privacy. The unit really would benefit from properly fitted blinds all around and some decor to warm it up. Bar height chairs for front porch would be amazing. Great for 3 people not more than that. Appreciated linens being included but having towels too would be awesome for travelers. The ad may want to specify that washer and dryer is coin operated $3 each load so bring quarters if you plan to wash and towels. Overall great place if you don’t mind being woke up by the ferry horn!

Amazing views in OB

This place truly has amazing views. We went in early June, so the weather wasn't super nice, we even saw a thunderstorm -- very impressive view from this place! It is also incredibly convenient, you're two blocks from the main drag in OB, bike rental, shops, restaurants, whatever you want. The place has all the regular amenities, though we didn't use them much -- mostly went out. Strong recommend if you can snag this!

Clean unit across from Oak Bluffs Ferry

Nice upstairs location located directly across from the ferry and a minute walk to local attractions. Located next to a bar but no noise is heard unless you open windows on a busy night. Nice patio. Could benefit from blackout curtains in bedroom and bathroom. Coin operated laundry ($3.00 each for washing and drying as of May 2023). Shabby walkway and surrounding areas but clean and attractive unit. Comfortable for 3 adults.
