En byggnad fylld med karaktÀr och charm byggd 1877, en av nÄgra fÄ som överlevde orkanen pÄ 1900-talet. Den unika vridningen av byggnaden Àr vad vi förhoppningsvis hÀnvisar till som "karaktÀr". BelÀget pÄ torget, en privat tegelbelagd innergÄrd med stora ekar att varva ner eller bara njuta av det lugn som vÄr lilla by har att erbjuda. Butiker Àr inom gÄngavstÄnd eller bara nÄgra minuters bilresa frÄn restaurangerna. De 2 sovrummen delar ett Hollywood-bad (varje sovrum har sin egen fÄfÀnga och toalett men delar en klo fot badkar / duschvÀgg). Det första sovrummet har en drottning och en tvilling. Den andra har 2 fulla sÀngar. Dessutom finns det en hall halv bad. Köket Àr fullt utrustat med grunderna för matberedning tillsammans med frukostflingor, kaffe och te. TvÀttmaskin och torktumlare finns för gÀstanvÀndning. Minimal parkering pÄ baksidan eller fri parkering pÄ framsidan. Ingen parkering eller blockering av sidan eller bakgatan. Gratis WiFi, Netflix och TV med 50 + lokala kanaler, DVD-spelare

Adorable and cozy

Perfect getaway

The house was extremely clean and comfy. Lots of extra amenities that were a nice touch. I may have over indulged in the chocolates😉 Great location and easy to access all of our planned day trips.

Girls trip

The property was comfortable and has more than enough room for sleeping and relaxing. The living/dining/kitchen is huge. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/utensils/pots, and pans. Loved the large island and the claw foot tub/shower. We arrived on the coldest day of the year and there are plenty of extra blankets for the beds.

Wonderful Place!

We loved our stay! Everything was very clean and the place is beautifully decorated. Everything we needed plau more was provided including food basics like coffee, tea,cereal, etc. The beds were comfortable and the Jack & Jill bath was perfect for two women. There was plenty of privacy between the two bedrooms for people who may not be on the same sleep schedule. I highly recommend this property for two singles or two couples.

Small Town Charm

The Holland Haus is as quaint and charming as in the pictures. It's a peaceful property yet close to cute shops and wonderful restaurants. I enjoyed a relaxing week exploring the area and just resting. It was a much needed break from the hustle and bustle. Donna has thought of everything one might need during their stay and quickly responded to my questions. She even sent me suggestions of some things happening nearby on the 4th of July. Only an hour from Houston---this may be my new favorite getaway place.

Perfect Girls’ Weekend!

Holland House was the perfect setting for a wonderful time with my daughters and granddaughter. The location was ideal for shopping and dining on the square. We could just step outside and walk. Bellville has terrific shops and restaurants, but isn’t overrun with other tourists, so we were never bothered by noise. Also, we loved sitting in the back courtyard listening to the birds and watching the cat. There was also a park nearby for my five year old granddaughter. The house itself is charming and comfortable. I really enjoyed the big bathtub! We would definitely stay here again!

High School Friends (40 years of friendship)

We had such a great time! . Donna has created the perfect comfortable, classy spot. We stayed here for two nights and drove to Round Top. We ate next door at 22 North Holland. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will be back for sure!

Market Day on the Square

We had a group of ladies stay for the weekend during one of Bellville's market day weekends. This was our second time to stay here, and we will definitely come back again. The house is amazing and very comfortable, the host is warm and helpful, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend!

I was born and raised in Bellville and proud to call it home. Brad and I live off site and are proud parents of our daughter who is a recent Aggie graduate.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The building was originally home to a newspaper that had been moved from where the library currently stands. Through the years it has been a bar, antique store and many restaurants. Built in 1877, it has lots of history. Brad and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in the early 90's when it was a quaint, romantic restaurant called Holland House. When I purchased it, the floor and walls had many license plates covering holes. Some of the holes in the floor, we were told were bullet holes from the days when it was a bar. The 1936 plate which is hanging by the front door was taken from the floor and restored. The sign above the dining table was made with the flooring from the back rooms of the building in which the lumber is a mixture of species, textures and patterns.
