The Gathering House (unit 1) is nestled between Bellville and Sealy, Texas, It offers the perfect countryside getaway with expansive views, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of room to relax and explore — all just an hour from downtown Houston.

You’ll love our central location — only 20 minutes from Brenham, 30 minutes from Round Top, and with easy access to Katy, West and North Houston, three major airports, College Station, Austin, Waco, and Temple.

Inside this peaceful country retreat, you’ll find cozy farmhouse touches throughout. With three inviting bedrooms—one with an en suite bath and another full bath nearby—it’s perfect for families or groups looking to unwind together.

The fully equipped kitchen features cookware and a pantry stocked with dry goods, making meal preparation simple and enjoyable.

Step outside and breathe in the fresh country air with a gorgeous pond in your view! There’s plenty of open space for barbecues, outdoor games, or simply relaxing on the lawn. Enjoy our large, well-stocked pond — perfect for fishing or a peaceful kayak ride.

Traveling with pets? You’ll appreciate the spacious, fenced yard, which gives your furry friends plenty of room to roam. (A $50 pet fee applies.)

We had the best stay at this home! We traveled with our two teenage boys and dogs, and my husband’s brother. The house instantly felt like home for all of us. The space is filled with natural light, super cozy, and every piece of furniture—from the couch recliners to the beds—was incredibly comfortable.The kitchen was easily the best-stocked kitchen I’ve ever used. I normally bring a travel spice kit and didn’t even need it! The pantry had everything we needed. The home was spotless, and little touches like the toiletries smelling really nice, the bathroom heaters, full-size laundry machines, and other thoughtful essentials made our stay so easy.Our boys and dogs loved roaming the land and exploring the lake, and we loved having such a peaceful escape from the city. The hosts, Patti and Larry were kind, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish.We stay in Bellville at least once a year, and we would absolutely stay here again every single time. Truly a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!
