Lovely Beach Cottage for small family

Quiet locartion at end of the street. Screened porch overlooking small pond. Bathrooms & Kitchen were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Located short walk to the boardwalks for easy access to the beach.

A new cottage for an annual Kiawah Christmas trip. Listing info is accurate. Positives: charming interior, about 50 yards from beach entrance, clean and well equipped, quiet neighborhood, great shower and hot water, plenty of space. Other: a bit dark inside due to tree canopy and a 10 diget entry code. Overall very satisfied.

Has potential

This property is very close the beach and Night Heron Park. Unfortunately, the home has not been cared for well and needs many updates (furniture and bedspreads not clean, rusted out grill, moldy washing machine). I wish I would have known these (and other) things before booking. After 16 years of family vacations on Kiawah, this area is our favorite part of the island. We enjoyed our time with family, but it is difficult to relax when you have to contact the property manager multiple times. I hope these issues are resolved for future guests

Awesome Home

This trip was our 2nd consecutive year that we stayed at this home - two weeks each time. Very nicely decorated and plenty of room for four adults. Short three-minute walk to the beach. Would definitely want to stay here again.

We’ve gone to Kiawah for years but this was our first trip to this property. It’s a short few minute walk to the beach or a 30 second bike ride. The house has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation; updated kitchen and baths, comfy furniture, good WiFi. And the price was unbeatable, especially considering the location.

Lovely family gem

Everything you need to enjoy your time at beach is there. We are a retired couple staying for a week. Beach is very close for fishing as well as biking and walking trails. Kitchen is loaded with tools/spices and dishes. Nice garden room that can be closed off provides a retreat within the cottage as well...lots of outdoor seating to enjoy also.

Perfect location for family beach vacation

Wonderful private location on a quiet street with a quick walk to the beach. Adjacent to a pond with a nice forest view and relaxing night time sounds. Two full bathrooms and well equipped kitchen.

Vacation2022

The house was great with a good location to the beach (a very short walk). It had a wonderful setup for our family. The kitchen was greatly equipped with the ability to cook with ease.. The screened in porch was wonderful and used daily. We even had two deer come by to visit one afternoon.. We would definitely rent again if we return to Kiawah Island.

Great location, great screen porch

This the third time we have stayed in this house. We love the location - easy walk to the beach, and at the end of a cul-de-sac with a view of the marsh - quite private feeling, however the thing we like the best about the house is the screen porch. It is the biggest one we have found in Oceanwoods, and we just love sitting out there reading or eating meals.

Great location

This place is really well located and very quaint inside. The kitchen is well equipped. My only complaints are that the beds are super uncomfortable, there is no way to black out the light in the rooms (weak blinds), and the bath doesn’t have a proper plug so I couldn’t give the kids a bath. It would be great if pest control was done more frequently (roaches and other bugs) and a dust pan couldn’t be found. I would stay again if the beds were updated.

Great location.. cute cottage!

This is our second time staying at this cottage. We find the home to be warm and inviting and comfortable for a family of 4. The kitchen is well equipped and you can't beat the distance to the beach. Some improvements we noticed from last year's visit..the owner patched up the holes in the screened in porch so it was alot less buggy. They added more pillows in the master bedroom which made the sleeping more comfortable. The coffee table was updated and had some fun tables games inside the drawers. You can tell they spruced it up a bit! The walking distance to the beach feels like less than 5 min.. which is a plus! Overall it's difficult to find better value and we will likely be booking this cottage again multiple times in the future.
