Thanksgiving Beach get away.

House was amazing, directly on the Atlantic Ocean. The hosts took care of everything and just allowed us to enjoy our stay completely. Easy walk to town with great food and nice shops.

Wonderful home in a perfect location

Even during a rainy weekend we enjoyed the waterfront view and walks on the beach. Shops and restaurants of Kennebunk/Kennebunkport are just a short drive away. It was a very pleasant stay!

Wonderful week at the beach

Lovely house by the ocean!

This was a lovely home base for a family vacation - very clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. The house was bright and airy, catching nice ocean breezes. Nice and quiet at night. Great communication with the owners.

Wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach house. It is minutes by foot to Gooch Beach, elegant and airy, and has beautiful views of the ocean. The host is thoughtful, quick to respond, and accommodating. We hope to visit again!

Great location for a family getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in Kennebunk. The house was set up with all the necessities for our family to enjoy a long weekend away. It's walking distance to town, a local playground and a great beach. We enjoyed having three of the four bedrooms with ocean views, a great front yard to play in, and great off-street parking. The house itself was large enough for everyone to spread out while enjoying our time together.

Great spot to getaway to!

We had a great time at this beach house. Right across the street from the ocean, just a few minute walk down to beach where there is sand, and is dog friendly (after Labor Day/before peak season they are allowed on the beach all day which is amazing). House was clean and worked perfectly for us. Close to town as well (quick drive). We hope we can come back again sometime!

Paradise!

The house was a perfect size for our family of 9 and the location was ideal. Walk to the beach was so short that we didn’t need to lug everything there. Kathy and Dave were super responsive to all of our questions and great hosts who had thought of everything for the house. Comfy beds too!

Terrific experience!

Everything about our stay was exceptional! The house is lovely and well kept, with everything we needed for our stay. It is right across the road from the ocean, and it was a joy to watch the water from the balcony in the early morning and at dusk. The neighborhood is friendly and upscale, and a short walk to Gooch Beach. The hosts were extremely helpful and thoughtful. Our stay was a great experience, and we will definitely be return visitors.

Location, Location, Location!

This beach house is in the perfect spot to make your Maine vacation complete! We’ve been vacationing in Maine annually for just about 20 years and can honestly say this was one of our best experiences. You can’t beat the convenience to go into town, step out the front door and there is the ocean, and the scenery is just breathtaking. Kathy and David made everything simple, we would certainly entertain another visit in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Excellent stay at Kennebunk Beach property! Very pleased with the cleanliness. Owners are most thoughtful in supplying the house with everything you need. Our family with two young children throughly enjoyed exploring the beach and stone areas. Owners are easily contacted and quite responsive! We look forward to returning!

Incredible Spot

Great house with incredible views throughout. House was clean, bedrooms had lots of space and living room/kitchen views were spectacular. Easy to leverage the outside with two Adirondack chairs and a dining table outside facing the water along, and a deck on the second level. Kathy is an exceptional host-- accommodating and excellent communication. We will definitely return.

Great Location, beautiful views, perfect escape

Kathy Deteso/David Deteso är värd

David and Kathy DeTeso currently reside in northern California, but they feel a deep attachment to Kennebunk Beach because David was born and raised just a couple miles from "The Beach House". They make an annual week-long trip to the house each summer with their four daughters to enjoy the beach and visit with friends and family. David and Kathy love to open up their home for rent by guests from all around North America for the remainder of the year. Many guests of The Beach House return year after year to carry on traditions with their family and loved ones. Thanks to their incredible friend and property manager who resides in the area, the house is maintained with excellent care.
