Stuga med utsikt över Mirror Lake and Beach med fantastisk utsikt över sjön och bergen från vardagsrummet, sovrummet på övervåningen, övre och nedre däck. Vedeldad sten spis. Öppet kök vardagsrum med skjutbara glasdörrar till däck på övervåningen med utsikt över Mirror Lake och Beach .. Lägre nivå har ett annat däck med sittplatser / bord och hand snidad sväng med utsikt över sjön / bergen och utsikt över floden. Njut av att svänga på stocken och lyssna på floden rusa förbi! Välskötta hundar välkomna! Ta dem till floden!
Steg leder ner till sjön, stranden, breda floden och vattenfallet med paviljong. Fyra bekväma, stora sovrum erbjuder sovplats för upp till 10 gäster. Det lägre sovrummet är öppet för spelrummet. Två privata däck har vardera sittplatser och vacker utsikt över bergen och sjön, lägre nivå har utsikt över floden utöver sjön.

Riverbend erbjuder en privat strand, sjö, fiskebrygga och en paviljong med utsikt över sjön med gungstolar, grillgropar och vacker utsikt över bergen. Allt detta kan ses från stugan. Gå över vägen från stranden till Riverwalk vid Broad River, med små forsar, picknickområde och vattenfall! Eller gå till badhålet, njuta av slangen vid floden, fiska utanför piren och simma i sjön!
Lake Lure i västra North Carolina har mycket att göra! Lake Lure Beach erbjuder sjön med en vacker strand omgiven av bergen med en lekplats och badvakter på vakt. We enjoyed our stay. The location is as advertised, a very short walk to the beach and the river. The cabin was clean and we had zero issues. We would definitely book again.

We had the best time at this cabin! Lake and river were just steps away. I went with my two best friends and they got engaged by the lake. Will definitely be back!

Pet friendly lake house

Enjoyed our time here and appreciated that we were able to take our dog. Not to many places allow pets and this place did. We were very grateful we didn’t have to board her.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved the location. House feels private at night but you have neighbors that aren't too close. So there's safety but privacy. The house was beautiful! Plenty of room, great kitchen to cook in. Easy access to the 'beach front' at the lake and a short trail running beside Broad River. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing setting and wonderful experience!

Location was just perfect! Was the perfect size for our family and everyone just really enjoyed having their own space as well as the community areas. We will definitely be staying again.

Such a relaxing stay!

We rented this cabin out for my mother-in-law’s birthday weekend. She wanted to relax and stay in somewhere that had a great view and great scenery nearby and this place nailed it! The cabin was super cozy and clean upon arrival and when we had questions about anything Liz was quick to respond and help with any issues. Overall 5 star stay!

Starting off the trip we lost cell service at the entry gate and didn’t get to put the actual cabin address in. The road to the cabin was a one car gravel road and not made for small cars. Once we finally found the cabin getting into the house was easy. Upon first glance the cabin looked okay. However, cobwebs all over the place, there was pee in the downstairs bathroom, the shower drain downstairs was disgusting. The cleanliness of this place is terrible. The pool table has broken sticks the balls are dead and the pockets are broken (terrible). I really wanted to love this place because it does have a decent view but was tempted to go stay in a hotel!

Relaxing vacation

Very relaxing location. Beautiful lake with great location without the crowds. Cabin was very clean. I would have loved to have 2 canoes. We did not use the one that was there because we wanted to canoe in pairs and not alone. I would stay there again. We were very close to the lake with sand beach area and nature trail.

We had a great stay in the area was beautiful. I did think from the description that the beach was adjacent to the property or right down the steps in the backyard. Well that's a not exactly true but it is close and we had a lovely time

Family Place!

We brought our adult children here for a weekend stay in mid-November . We enjoyed the open kitchen/dining area, pool table, walks around lake. Sunrise is magnificent. Bring linens for downstairs bedroom —- pullout and sofa bed. The upstairs bedroom is a loft that is open to the living room/tv area so arrange your early-to-bed people accordingly. You will love this place!

A little piece of heaven

The location was perfect! Across from the pavilion and atop a hill with perfect views of the lake. Peace and quiet reign ed suoreme. The house was perfect to suit our needs and the deck overlooking the lake was our constant hangout!! Kitchen was well equipped and the pool table was used a lot. The stone surrounds in the showers was striking. But the roads were were excellent...narrow in places but well taken care of. All in all...a memorable vacation in a lovely peaceful setting.

Girls weekend

I tried several times to get early check in. Had people coming from different states. Never received an answer. The house needs some updating. The house is advertised as four bedroom. It is a two bedroom, so it lacked privacy we were looking for. Had an ant problem. The view from the mountains and lake was beautiful.

Nice Views!

We were very happy with the wonderful view and the effort to have quality cabin furnishings and décor. Very much enjoyed the deck and fireplace. Seating area was smaller than expected but fine for the 4 of us. The kitchen is mostly furnished but only one wine glass. We used the two bedrooms, but be aware there is absolutely NO privacy between them and you can hear even low conversation. Also, the smaller bedroom could use a new mattress. The 2nd bathroom is in the basement with steep steps to it so unusable for us in the middle of the night. And very steep steps to the lake below. Pool table was a nice extra. The only real complaint is that the actual housekeeping fee was 50% higher than advertised on the listing and so was a bit deceptive. Would stay again.

Great location but precarious spaces

We just returned from a week long family vacation. The location of this cabin was perfect for our 3 children. We were able to pop to the beach or the river for a quick swim whenever the notion hit us. Beautiful views from the deck. However, the living spaces were a bit precarious for our family of 9. The main level, which is where we congregated as that's where the kitchen is, was a constant state of congestion and it's in desperate need of additional light. It was very difficult to see in the kitchen and dining areas once the sun started to go down. Also, there are only 2 true bedrooms as one of the "4" is a loft with no doors, completely open to the main level giving no privacy. And another being a sofa bed in the basement game room, which I can't imagine an adult sleeping on as it was pretty old. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location was the big draw for us and it definitely did not disappoint. But the setup of the house made our stay a bit chaotic.

Great Family Vaca

We had a great time! Beautiful view and enjoyed the lake and waterfall just down the way. My legs may be sore from all the steep steps but we loved it. Lol There are so many other things to see and do around the area we felt like we really made the most out of our vacation. Our only criticism would be no exhaust fans in bathrooms, you can hear everything on main level (which really didn’t bother us too much) and lots of spider webs out on the deck and on windows. Not a deal breaker for us though. No need to worry about hot water. There is plenty and while we would come in and take shower after shower we never ran out and was still very hot. Thumbs up on that! Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Just a friendly note, (there are 2 can openers that didn’t work so we had to buy one.) I should have just left it there. Beds and pillows were comfy. We would definitely stay here again! And P.S. I’m a travel agent! You know I really wanted to stay here not to get a discount or commission since it’s VRBO. It didn’t disappoint.

Served the purpose

We get together annually so we have stayed in many many VRBO locations over the years. This was not as great as most we've been to. The coffee maker died the day we arrived, and the owner brought one by the next morning. That attention was well appreciated. The cabin is very pretty and has room for 4 adults, although it is not as roomy as the photos seem to indicate. The location was good, however, my fault for not reading and noticing that this is not in fact ON Lake Lure but rather on a small lake in a neighborhood. The ceiling fan in the loft sleeping area made such a horrific clunk but I switched some of the screws that were still there around and used it that way. I did notify them after we left, and they thanked me so assume that has been fixed. I would say the kitchen isn't well stocked but we travel with a seasoned cook so we may be harsh for that reason. All in all, this house is fine and serves the purpose if you want to be in the area. The drive the Asheville is delightful and you can avoid most of the highway.

Nice place....but needs some attention to detail

Quaint cabin with a wonderful view and had the charm of a true log home - decor was thoughtful and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace. It was nice to have enough of some items like trash bags, dish soap, etc., to get us started. The first 24 hours there were a little rough and frustrating: - Took 8-10 calls, to the owners, to be able to get into the gate upon arrival...literally had us panicking a little bit about where we were going to spend the night. - Didnt have wifi for the first 14 hours. Owner did respond the next day to contact the provider. - Both bathroom shower curtains were full of black mold and orange lanolin. Believe the cause (in basement) is due to the shower not draining - ankle deep in grey water. Not Owner did drop off new ones on a picnic table in the back yard for us to put up / replace ourselves. - The hot tub not working properly - owner contacted company the next day to obtain fix. - Decorative pillows on couch were covered in pet hair. We read that animals were not allowed on the furniture - Kitchen supplies left a good bit to be desired: Can openers that dont work - leaving us with some uneaten food, no serving spoons so we used an ice cream scoop and teaspoons for serving meals, only 2 towels and one dish cloth available to use in kitchen for 5 days so we did some unexpected laundry, and most of the dishes we used had to be washed to remove food from before using. Once these things were resolved we did enjoy our additional 3 days stay.

Only 2 true bedrooms, not 4!

First time family vacation with age range 6mo old to 70+ years old. 6 adults, 2 kids. The description and pictures sounded perfect with 4 bedrooms. However, the king bed is in a wide open loft that overlooks the living room. The single bed is right next to the king bed. King bed was very comfortable. However, no privacy or quiet with no door. The true 2 bedrooms with doors are on the 1st floor and are very nice, the older folks stayed there. The basement has only one TWIN bed in one open basement space. The pull out sofa was old and useless. Only way to accommodate a couple comfortably is one on a twin bed and one on a couch. We made it all work though and had a great time! The little beach in the neighborhood was fantastic for the little ones and the swimming hole was a unique way to spend a relaxing afternoon. However, would not go back to this rental with this large of group. If you like 4 private bedrooms, this is not the place for you. Would have liked a TRUE description in the listing so we could have really known what to expect.

Good place for a couple

I was disappointed that despite the description stating the house had four spacious bedrooms, it auctually only had two bedrooms. The other two spaces that the owner considers bedrooms is a loft with a bed and a basement with a sleeper sofa and twin bed. When my daughter opened the sleeper sofa there was a lot of mouse feces. I called the owner and she apologized and said she would have the exterminator come as well as the cleaning lady in the morning. They came but the cleaning lady obviously did not open the sleeper sofa nor move the couch as there was still feces on and around the sleeper sofa. The cabin was nice but a little small for 8 adults with two bathrooms. It was close to get to different wonderful places to see. It is a gated community so we only had one gate key so if we came in different times we would have to bring the key down. We also had a problem with nats. We left a cup of apple vinegar on the counter in the kitchen and that seemed to help. I mentioned it to the owner but didn’t see that the exterminator left any traps out for them. The owner was very nice and always responded quickly when I called with any issues.

Nice weakened vacation

The check in process was easy. The cabin was very nice with a beautiful view. My family had a great time on the lake enjoying the kayaks.
