När du anländer till ytterdörren till Lägenhetslägenheten går du omedelbart genom utrustningsrummet / Infraröd Bastu. Det här området är avsett att ta bort alla dina skrymmande skidor innan du går in i vardagsrummet och njuter av ett trevligt avkopplande besök på HOT bastun efter en lång dag på berget.

Vardagsrummet och köket kombineras i ett mycket öppet och rymligt område. Du kommer att njuta av det vackra köket med vackra granitbänkskivor, alla rostfria vitvaror och alla köksredskap för att skapa gourmetmat.

Koppla av i vardagsrummet på en väldigt plysch soffa med mjuka kuddar som också inkluderar en utdragbar högt rankad minne skum säng eller ligga tillbaka i den bekväma lounge stol och titta på en av de många film / TV-kanaler. Badrummet är rymligt och fullt utrustat med gott om färskt handdukar och bekvämligheter (hårtork, plattjärn, Etc). Badrummet har gott om ljus belysning och en kaklad dusch / badkar.

Tvättstället innehåller en matchande uppsättning Samsung "Extra Large Load" tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Massor av naturligt ljus hela- Även om detta är en källare lägenhet har det nästan lika mycket ljus som skiner igenom som den övre nivån med undantag för köket. Köket har lite mindre naturligt ljus, så vi lade till extra försänkta lampor med naturliga ljusa glödlampor för att skapa samma mängd ljus som de andra rummen.

Den uteslutna, privata inhägnad-i gården / uteplats är utrustad för dig och dina gäster njutning. Detta område innehåller ett rostfritt stål (högkvalitativ) - grillgrill som är väldigt lätt att använda och att skapa din favorit grillade utomhusrätter. I detta privata område ingår även bord-paraply-stolar och till och med en skidreparationsbänk.

**** 4 World Class Ski Resorts **** inom några minuter: Snowbird är närmast bara 11 miles away och Alta ligger bara 1 mil längre, både i Little Cottonwood Canyon. Ensamhet är 16 miles away och Brighton 2 miles längre, både i Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Även Park City (Utah Olympic Park) är 28 Miles och Deer Valley lite längre.

Vi är belägna i Willow Creek Country Club och mycket nära bergen. Fastigheten i centralt belägen med skidor och många andra utomhus äventyr en kort bilresa uppför berget. Shopping, aktiviteter och restauranger är alla inom några minuter.

UTA erbjuder 2 skidbusshållplatser (2 miles och 2. 4 miles away) Dessa busshållplatser samt tågstationer tar dig till det bästa Salt Lake City har att erbjuda Om du bara vill åka en kort bilresa till lokala butiker du kan antingen ta en uber eller en taxi i området.

We stayed in the property while skiing Alta and Solitude ski resorts. It was conveniently located for both. This was by far the most thoughtful short term rental we have ever used. The apartment was extremely spacious and well stocked with everything you could need! The owners thought of everything! We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

The Spruce moose has everything you need! Centrally located to both Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons for skiing. The apartment is super cute, clean and the host have insured that you have everything you need! There was a guest basket of fruits, and snacks, cooking oils, teas and coffees, and body washes, hair care, cotton balls and such in the bathroom. Everything you could think of was available!

Awesome Spring Break!

We stayed at the Spruce Moose for 5 days over our teen son’s spring break. The apartment was inviting and comfortable with a large kitchen/dining/living area that’s great for socializing. Everything is fresh and modern and the beds are comfy. Bill and Karolina left extras to make our visit special, like a fruit basket and snacks. The location is extremely convenient to Snowbird/Alta and Solitude/Brighton. We also skied at Park City one day and that was also only a 35min drive. We definitely will stay at the Spruce Moose again in the future!

Perfect place with thoughtful hosts

The Moose was perfect for us. We wanted a location that was close enough to Snowbird and Alta for skiing but did not cost as much as staying at the resorts. The property was beautiful and clean and the hosts did such a great job of stocking the bathroom and kitchen for us. I highly recommend staying here.

Great place for ski vacation

We enjoyed staying here, it's a place in a nice quiet neighborhood and easy short drive to both Cottonwood canyons. The hosts are very caring and provide lots of bonus food (even breakfast) and toiletries. They live right above you in case anything comes up. As a bonus for any moose lover, there's very tasteful moose-themed decor throughout.

Amazing Property! Excellent Location!

They really think of everything at the Spruce Moose! We had all we needed... and then some! Little touches like breakfast stuff, snacks... The property is in excellent condition and obviously well cared for. Covered parking was a huge plus since it dumped snow on us! Located very close to both Cottonwood canyons made it super convenient to get to the mountains. Would definately stay here again.

Winter Ski Holiday

The apartment is spacious and well maintained. The owners are communicative to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. They go above and beyond by leaving toiletries and other household items you could need during your stay. The kitchen had been stocked with snacks and drinks. This was our best place to date that we have stayed. Thank you guys for being such good hosts.

Outstanding Hosts

My experience was fantastic. Bill and Karolina were super helpful in every way possible. They had great recommendations for family and kid friendly activities in and around the area. The home is located in a quiet and clean neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Everything we needed was accommodated for us, and if they didn’t have it, they asked around the neighborhood to get it for us. When we arrived there was food to eat after a hectic day of traveling that came in clutch. There are detailed instructions and explanations of how things work in the house. However, if I needed anything I knew I could call or text and would be assisted promptly. Privacy is respected and the house was very comfortable. If you’re planning on skiing or snowboarding you’re within 25 minutes of any of the 4 best resorts in the area.

A welcoming getaway!

Impeccable attention to detail, perfect ski base

We have stayed in vacation rentals in various places for years but the Spruce Moose is unparalleled. What makes this such an enjoyable rental is the impeccable attention to detail, from the perfectly appointed ski mudroom entry to the well- stocked kitchen and clear written instructions placed thought the unit, Bill and Karolina have anticipated every possible need a guest may have. (At one point I needed a blank sheet of paper for a work Zoom and I thought “finally something this place doesn’t have” but it turned out there was a folder of printer paper in the kitchen drawer!!!) Spotless and well organized, in quiet and safe residential neighborhood, this is an ideal base for skiing Alta/Snowbird and Brighton. Highly recommend!

My husband and our friends stayed here for a week of skiing. The place is so comfortable and charming. The owners have put tons of effort into making the experience fun and enjoyable. The little touches were so thoughtful. Only 20-30 minutes to ski resorts!

The Moose is Awesome

The property was very clean, well organized, and the host had a lot of nice extras waiting for us - fresh fruit, snacks, coffee and more. We would definitely stay here again as everything was exactly as advertised and the hosts bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. Great place and super nice hosts.

What a place!

Before we even arrived we felt we were great friends with Bill & Karolina! They introduced us to the property and what to expect upon arrival. It felt like we'd walked into our home away from home. We had traveled from New England to visit our daughter, who was at school in Salt Lake City. It was our first time having Christmas away from home and we came in to see that Bill & Karolina had set up a Christmas tree for us and decorated the home for the holidays! What a thoughtful and lovely gesture! It really made our Christmas extremely special. The space was just gorgeous - very private, you had your own patio area (better for the warmer months for sure!), all updated appliances & amenities, extremely clean, and had everything you would need (and then some!). Highly recommend this property. You won't be sorry! Thank you Before we even arrived we felt we were great friends with Bill & Karolina! They introduced us to the property and what to expect upon arrival. It felt like we'd walked into our home away from home. We had traveled from New England to visit our daughter, who was at school in Salt Lake City. It was our first time having Christmas away from home and we came in to see that Bill & Karolina had set up a Christmas tree for us and decorated the home for the holidays! What a thoughtful and lovely gesture! It really made our Christmas extremely special. The space was just gorgeous - very private, you had your own patio area (better for the warmer months for sure!), all updated appliances & amenities, extremely clean, and had everything you would need (and then some!). Highly recommend this property. You won't be sorry!

Visited Utah For The First Time

I can not say enough positive things about our stay here. The location was 4 miles away from the road that takes you up to Brighton/Solitude, and it is very convenient to the bus stops. The accommodations were well appointed, and the TV worked well. WIFI worked well, and everything felt very clean. It is about a 30 min drive into downtown SLC, and it was a 48 drive to Park City. The space is quite large and would accommodate 5 people easily. The sauna and gas fire were nice added touches. The owner takes a lot of care to leave items that travelers often forget, and there were a variety of other complementary sundries. If you are not looking to stay in the city or pay the high prices associated with on-mountain accommodations, this will also satisfy that. I would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Excellent Accommodations

The Spruce Moose is a great downstairs apartment sized rental in a great neighborhood that is equipped with everything ! Easily one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. It is comfortable and roomy and the hosts were very accommodating.

home away from home

Property was perfect! A well appointed /clean apartment with all the comforts of home. The owners have gone above and beyond, extra toiletries, fresh fruit and snacks, a couple sodas in the fridge! Apartment is spacious and bright, comfortable beds, large flat screen television and in unit laundry are all great amenities. We were there for a snowboarding trip, Snowbird and Alta are 20 minutes up little cottonwood canyon and Solitude/Brighton/Park City are 30 minutes up big cottonwood canyon. Great alternative to staying at the resorts. Very private, quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Any questions are answered promptly by the owners. I will definitely be contacting Bill and Karolina for my next visit to Utah, hopefully that will be very soon! Thanks again for offering such a great place to call homebase for a week!!

Excellent Stay!

The unit my son and I stayed in was well-kept and the owners were very responsive from the three days prior to our arrival all the way through check-out. Bill and Karolina made sure that we were well cared for and even provided free snacks and water during our stay. The close proximity to the ski resorts was just what we were looking for and use of the sauna after a full day of skiiing was perfect. I recommend this property and if the opportunity arises, will reserve there again. Thank you Bill and Karolina for a most enjoyable stay!

Great Stay in Salt Lake!

We had a great stay at Spruce Moose Mountain Retreat over Christmas and New Years! The property was perfect for our family of four. It had all the amenities we could ever need and the space is newly renovated. The few times we had a question for the owners, Bill was very quick to respond and provide whatever we needed. The best part is it is only minutes from the ski resorts. We skied 4 days at Alta and could easily be there in 30-45 minutes depending on the canyon traffic. We will definitely stay here again.

Spruce Moose stay

Wonderful property. The owners have all sorts of little items available - everything from some fresh fruit to various toiletries to pens, pencils and duct tape! everything was well stocked (pots, pans, towels, etc) lots and lots of notes to ensure that you know how to work all of the items in the facility (coffee makers, TV, heating, etc) - all very helpful. Loved the fact that some of the outlets are preset with USB ports - and they have an octopus cable with multiple interfaces on it to support virtually all of your electronics (huge if one has forgotten their chargers!). Although this is a basement unit, you would never know it - wonderfully set up. I had constant email/text interchanges with the owners - always very fast in responding. We experienced no issues at all. I highly recommend the Spruce Moose.

Hi, my name is Bill, my wife is Karolina and we have a child. We have also always had a pup and cat as part of our family too. Karolina and I both love hiking, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, and traveling together as often as possible. Karolina is from Poland and I am from Georgia. We met near where we both lived in downtown Atlanta and a year later we were married. Karolina is a Veterinarian and I have a T-shirt art business.

For our 10th wedding anniversary we visited a BNB for the first time in Savanah GA and were hooked. We immediately started thinking about how amazing it would be to live in a destination location that complemented our adventurous lifestyle and at the same time, be able to share our home as a BNB for others to enjoy. We started planning our permanent get-way to live close to Mountains with plenty of summer and winter activities and fell in love with Utah. We packed and headed west in 2016 and here we are!

The story behind how we ended up in Utah and more specifically the home we live in now and then designing the “Spruce Moose Mountain Retreat”(Lower Level Apartment).

Zakopane is a beautiful mountain region in Poland that we’ve visited a couple times and absolutely loved it. We felt all the activities that are available in the mountains would be a perfect fit for us as a place to live. After extensive research we found SLC, UT to be very similar to Zakopane with Skiing, Hiking, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Camping, and so much more! The final decision to make the move was finding so many reviews from top winter sports athletes that said Utah is the mecca for skiing because it has “The Greatest Snow On Earth” and the huge variety of terrain (beginners to expert levels)! The location of the Spruce Moose is only minutes to some of the Worlds best ski resorts.

To sum up our experience of SLC, Utah in one word would be “ADVENTURE”!

When we finally settled on the location we felt would be outstanding for the plans ahead, we decided on this home because it was designed perfectly with what we had imagined. The property was constructed with an apartment on the lower level and entirely separated from the top floor with a separate entrance so you, our guest's, could enjoy complete privacy. We then went to work to duplicate highlights from many other BNB's we had visited and added our own warm touch so our guests could truly enjoy your vacations or business travels in complete privacy and comfort.

The "Spruce Moose Mountain Retreat" is in a very peaceful and quiet upscale neighborhood. The home "Lower Level Apartment" is extremely comfortable with top of the line furniture, beds, linens, and a kitchen with everything needed to cook a gourmet dinner. We invested a lot in the details and making sure your comfort and enjoyment are top priority. You will also enjoy the comforts of having a Private Patio/Yard area with table and chairs for you and your guests to enjoy. There's even a BBQ Grill for warmer weather.

The Sauna has many health benefits related to muscle soreness, joint pain, and injury relief and recovery associated with extremely physical activities along with sports such as Ski and Snow Boarding. It is also great to visit It's also great after a long cold day on the mountain to get that chill out of your spine:)!

Think about the feeling of a romantic walk or bike ride around the peaceful and quiet neighborhood, enjoying the scenic panoramic mountain views and at some spots even see the twinkle of the lights overlooking Salt Lake City.

As mentioned in the description, the location is very close to the mountains where Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons are within 3-4 miles. A little further up either of the canyons includes 4 world class ski resorts. Restaurants, Groceries, Entertainment, Golfing, Hiking, and much more can be enjoyed within 1-5 miles of the home. The city is within 15-25 minutes (depending on where you want to visit) so if you want to dine at the best restaurants, microbreweries, enjoy a night out on the town, visit famous landmarks, or if you're just in the area for business you are close to everything SLC has to offer. The combination of the location, all the comforts home has to offer, being recently renovated with all up to date amenities, quiet and extremely safe neighborhood, this home is the perfect place to enjoy your next ski or Summer vacation, and even great for a very comfortable business trip.
