Familj Favorite "Walker House" i Grayton Beach-privat pool

Kom slappna av och njuta av en lugn tillflyktsort i denna charmiga tre sovrum / två-bad strandhus ligger på en privat gata i Grayton Beach. Den 8 pers med 1 kung, 2 drottningar och drottningen bäddsoffa. Komplett kök remodel under 2008-nya golv, granit toppar och rostfria vitvaror etc. Alla nya sängar och sängkläder i hela huset också.

Walker House har en 12 x 29 "privat pool med inbyggd sittplatser bänk och spa jets. Pool kan värmas lågsäsongen, mot en extra kostnad per vecka. Det är komplett med Ducane naturgas grill, tropiska landskap, nattbelysning, marknad paraply. Poolen ligger på den södra sidan (stranden) i hemmet för att fånga klyfta vindar och surfa ljud medan matlagning din favorit semester måltid. Den västra sidan (baksidan av hemmet) har en 10x16 öppet däck utanför 10x40 omfattas / skärmad veranda.

Huset har travertin sten och trägolv i hela huset. Det gemensamma området innerväggar är tillverkade av v-spår vitkalkade furu, och i kombination med många ursprungliga konstverk, hjälpa lägga till sin karaktär. Den har ett rymligt kök och öppen allrum med en stereo med CD-spelare. Också det har 3TVs (ny 37 "platt i vardagsrummet) och DVD-spelare.

Det stora sovrummet och bad ligger på övervåningen med en privat balkong med utsikt över poolen och även med vacker utsikt över bukten. Vi ändrade bara en kung säng i master. Befälhavaren bad har totalrenoverats och utvidgades 2012 och har en stor sten och glas kakel duschkabin, nya skåp med två handfat och glas kakel backsplash och en granit bänkskivan.
Det är cirka 100 varv till stranden och dynerna walkover ligger 65 kilometer från de främre steg. Trådlöst internet finns utan extra kostnad. Gott om parkeringsplatser.

The many outdoor spaces were a highlight. Follow the sun, or the shade to the screened in porch, open porch or pool. Nice location to the beach and to the restos in downtown Graytoh. The house has character and charm, reflecting the fact that it is an older, but nicely kept, actual beach house. We loved it.

We had a wonderful week. Great location and super quick walk to beach either direction. Uncrowded beaches. Really nice back yard pool that we enjoyed. We had our own gear but Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, wagons available to use.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Walker House. It was a perfect location with a heated pool for our little ones to splash in after trips to the beach around the corner. It had everything we needed and was so peaceful. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful stay at the Walker House!

We had a great time staying at the Walker Beach house. They had everything we needed. The pool was great and had some nice shade in the afternoon. A very short walk to the boardwalk to the beach made it easy to go to and from the beach all day. Wayne was very responsive to our needs and was an exceptional host! We would love to stay here again next year.

Wonderful stay and wonderful host!

We loved staying at the Walker House! Stay here when I was a child in the 80s, and coming back in my 40s brought back so many wonderful memories. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, pool was refreshing after a day at the beach, and Wayne was a wonderful host and was very responsive when I messaged him. Would definitely rent this place again!

Family Vacation Trip

The Walker house was amazing for me and my wife, our 2 daughters, and my parents. The location was incredible - very short walk to the beach and very short car or golf cart ride to all the best restaurants in Grayton or Watercolor. Wayne was an amazing host who always responded quickly via text and had great suggestions for things to do while we were there. The house was very nice with a great pool in the side yard area and large patios. Would absolutely recommend for a family trip!

Fall Trip

This was our third stay at Walker House. We love the mix of older and newer homes in the area. After years of staying in a much more crowded spot close by we really enjoy Grayton. The beach access is a short walk and there is never a crowd on the beach. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The owner, Wayne, is very responsive and provides great information if you are unfamiliar with the area.

Great trip to Grayton Beach

We had a great trip to Grayton Beach and enjoyed Walker house very much. The pool was great alternative to the beach that was a short walk away. Owners were great to work with. 5th star was withheld as all the towels and sheets had the strong smell of cigarette smoke that required immediate washing when we arrived. We would stay again assuming the cigarette smoke issue can be corrected.

Our home is a non-smoking home and we are very sensitive to the fact that the linens had a strong smoke smell. We believe it was due to the housekeepers smoking while transporting the laundry and we have changed housekeepers since then. We hate that happened to our guests, but are glad to see they are returning this year!

We are in our 50's and have one son. We love relaxing at the beach and sunsets with friends. We also love art...collecting and painting even though we have no real talent. Some of our best memories are from times spent at Grayton Beach.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We both grew up in northwest Florida and began spending time at Grayton Beach in 1981. It was our dream to own property there and we bought a lot and built our first home in 1986. We have seen a lot of changes in the area over the years and remember the slower paced days we used to have just sipping coffee and chatting with neighbors in the mornings.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our many years of renting our home has helped us put our guests' comforts in line with their expectations. We love the pool and pool area that we added a few years ago. The proximity to the beach, restaurants, bike paths, etc makes our home a great vacation choice.
