Välkommen till den magnifika Sunset Beach House! Njut av den mest spektakulära naturliga skönheten som Michigan har att erbjuda på denna härliga 6-sovrum, 3-bads sjöstuga som ligger på Upper Scott Lake, bara 2,5 timmar från Chicago och 3 timmar från Detroit. Bara en kort bilresa bort hittar du de vackra Lake Michigan kustsamhällen i South Haven, Saugatuck och Holland. Utforska de många mousserande sandstränderna, fantastiska sanddyner och fantastisk utsikt över sjön som finns på Amerikas tredje kust. Detta omfattande renoverade hem är vackert inrett och perfekt för familjer med barn eller en grupp vänner som återskapar sin vänskap - allt i ett perfekt land och sjö. Vårt hem består av nybyggd ranch-stil, färdigställd i juli 2012, som inte har några trappor inuti. Det stora rummet erbjuder underhållning och matsal, inklusive öns sittplatser, matbord eller ett litet intimt bord som även kan användas för kort- och brädspel eller skrotning. De bekväma läderbänkarna är en perfekt sittgrupp för att titta på filmer. Köket är välutrustat och har även ett mini kylskåp för barn att lagra med sina egna mellanmål och drycker. Sovrummen är vackert inredda, bekväma och inbjudande. Den veranda är ett bra lekområde för barn eller sittgrupp för läsning; Det är också bra att bara titta på träden medan du sitter i en gungstol eller på våra bekväma rottingmöbler. Stranden har den bästa hårda sandbotten på sjön och är utmärkt för simning. Och det är särskilt bra för barn eftersom det blir långsamt långsamt - knä djupt för 20 till 30 meter ut. Kanot är ett roligt sätt att utforska sjön. Om du har en båt och vill använda kajen finns det alltid någon du kan ringa för att hjälpa dig till en liten avgift. Leadership retreat

We rented the property to host a weekend leadership retreat for our church leaders. The property was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We reallly appreciated our stay and the sun set over the lake was beautiful.

Great place!

Great Remote Location

My friends and I chose this Vrbo for our annual retreat in a remote location and this served us well! Very spacious (we made it work for 12 young adults), the property management team was very efficient and proactive with their communication (they answered all questions), the check-in/out process was smooth, and the lake that the property was off of was beautiful.Though this is likely a more desirable place for a family summer vacation, my group and I had a great time. I would recommend this Vrbo for anyone looking for a place to stay in Pullman/South Haven.

Plenty of space for a good-sized group.

Kitchen is well appointed and easy to cook meals for a large gathering. Beds are very comfortable. Great place for family get togethers. Second time we've been to their properties and will do it again.

Beautiful Lakefront Property, very peaceful

This property was perfect for our annual Cousin gathering. We made wonderful memories at this house. All bedrooms were very comfortable and spotless. The house had everything we could possibly need or want. Close to many different coastal towns for day trips. The property's staff and local contact were great in answering any of our questions.

Pullman Cottage

This lake house exceeded our expectations. Perfect place for our family to enjoy time together in the open kitchen and living space. Nice deck, yard and fire pit. The lake was very clean and shallow enough for kids to play. The house is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. It was nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. There was good communication with owner and property manager. We hope to return.

Great getaway weekend with girlfriends

Communication with the owner was great from beginning to end. The property is beautiful, inside and out. My friends and I celebrated our 50th birthdays and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Family vacation

Owner was very helpful, easy to work with. We enjoyed the large living space, very open and bright. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed the water for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Fire pit was super. Overall everything was great!

Peaceful getaway

We loved staying here! The house is perfectly set up for myself and my family, my brother and his, and my sister and hers. We had 7 adults and 6 kids very comfortably situated. The only thing i could ask for the house didnt have wasa game room or second living room. The lake was very peaceful and you dint have to worry about thenyounger kids going to deep as the lake is very sandy and shallow. Caught many sunfish and largemouth bass off the dock and canoe. Watch out for the swans and geese! Having the small fence to roll out came in handy. Thanks for a great stay!

Family girls Weekend

Plenty of space. Loved how the bedrooms were down one hallway. The kitchen and living room all one open space. We had plenty of room to craft and play games in the long table. Everything in one floor. Plenty of bathrooms for 14 women. Totally ideal. Beautiful colors on the trees. Perfect weekend. Awesome Hosts.

Family and Friends Retreat

4 families with multiple children stayed and played at the Sunset Beach house. Plenty of rooms to house everyone comfortably and space to spread out. Kitchens and bathrooms really well stocked, best we’ve seen at any other rental we have been at before. We cooked and grilled multiple meals. Stove had a bit trouble keeping up with maintaining heat with multiple burners running at the same time but, everything eventually got cooked. Beach was a great soft sand and shallow for the kids to play at safely. Had a wonderful time and would recommend for your next vacation.

Family Vacation 2024

Had a great week with the family. The house was great and was well stocked. The fence used to keep the geese out of the yard was a bit odd and annoying to have to take down to access the dock/lake. It was nice to have the kayak but it would have been nice to have a pontoon available. It was also a bit weird to have strangers wandering the yard every day scooping poop. Especially the guy who was complaining constantly while doing it as we sat on the front porch trying to read. Overall, the trip was great and the house was nice.

Fall 2023 Friend-sips Wellness Retreat

My group had a great time. Everything was clean and comfortable. It rained the entire time that we were there. However, we were able to capture the most beautiful rainbows and Swan passings ever. The check in process was easy, The kitchen provided everything we needed, and the spaciousness allowed everyone to feel at home. We appreciated the written instuctions on how to use various equipment. One of the best homes we've visited. It's a hidden gem.

Perfect spot!

We loved this property and the surrounding towns. The only concerning thing were the stray dogs but the care taker told us what to do about them and even offered to come assist. All information within the residence said check out at noon but all previously sent electronic information indicated one. We were prepared when cleaning crew came at 1220 and just went ahead and left. I believe the family consensus is to book for next year, maybe later in the season for some heat and sun shine to enjoy that beautiful lake more!!!!

Great, clean, roomy cottage!

We LOVED the cottage-very clean and well maintained. It had 3 good bathrooms, including an en suite in the main bedroom. Walk in shower. Very accessible for walkers, limited mobility. The tables had plenty of chairs for a large group, both inside and outside. There was an extra table for games/puzzles-which we loved. Nice yard for the kids, sandy small beach. Plenty of plates/glasses. Large open living plan. Brewery right next door. Lake is weedy and shallow, good swimming for kids at the shore. They work hard to clear the weeds daily. Geese and swans, other waterfowl-fun to watch. Rented kayaks-that is worth the $$. Fun fireworks on the pond for the 4th at other cottages all around. Nice fire pit with plenty of chairs. Brand new grill! We had a GREAT stay!

Summer home away from home

The property was immaculately clean. It gave us the room that we needed to accommodate our family members, and it was well stocked with many of the things that we needed to make our stay memorable. The lake was clean and easily accessible, roughly 30 yards from the back door. The water was deep enough for the kids to jump off the dock, but shallow enough that the youngest ones could wade safely . And the lake is well stocked with fish and our son-in-law caught a huge largemouth bass. The air condition was a true blessing, the beds were comfortable, and the conveniences, such as a dishwasher, TVs and Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a smaller refrigerator, a washer and dryer, a canoe, and lifejackets, were all just a few examples of the many thoughtful touches that made this property an outstanding choice. Above all, the property owner and manager were super friendly, and they worked to accommodate our needs. This is a great property, and we had a marvelous time staying here. We would definitely recommend it as a family – friendly, summer home away from home!

Nice home

The house was the perfect set up and right on the water. Kitchen table(s) were great, perfect for dinners and game playing. Walk right out to the lake for ice fishing. Bedrooms were average size, fine for sleeping. We all really enjoyed our stay and wished we would've booked a longer trip! Our only complaints are that the grill had no propane, a previous review also showed the grill wasn't working properly so that could be related. And the biggest disappointment was the difference in the documents provided after booking. The SBH Brochure Rental Rates showed early check-in/late check-out could be available upon request for one price, and the listing showed another. There was a significant price difference that we felt should have been honored.

Snowy week in Michigan

Property had a great view and was very roomy. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. There was a strong cleaning solution smell upon arrival. There were ample paper products, towels and hot water. The internet was slow and spotty. Not sure if the weather affected it, but we had to reboot the router many times. The beds were comfortable. There were no easy chairs or rocking chairs so the only seating besides for around the tables was the couch and the couch cushions were well worn making the living room seating uneven and uncomfortable. The TV had a green line running across it which was distracting. The owner and property manager were easy to deal with, gave clear instructions and sent necessary information plenty early. We especially appreciated the property manager getting someone to shovel the walk and plow us out when we had so much more snow than expected (forecast was for 1-3" and we ended up getting probably close to 18"). We would book this place again.

The owners fell in love with southwest Michigan on a trip to visit friends in South Haven nearly 15 years ago. As Chicago natives, they were immediately enchanted by the serene atmosphere and natural beauty — not to mention the extensive outdoor activities. They discovered their first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over ten years ago. They began renting the cottage there out of a desire to share their wonderful experiences there with others.
