Välkommen till den magnifika Sunset Beach House! Njut av den mest spektakulära naturliga skönheten som Michigan har att erbjuda på denna härliga 6-sovrum, 3-bads sjöstuga som ligger på Upper Scott Lake, bara 2,5 timmar från Chicago och 3 timmar från Detroit. Bara en kort bilresa bort hittar du de vackra Lake Michigan kustsamhällen i South Haven, Saugatuck och Holland. Utforska de många mousserande sandstränderna, fantastiska sanddyner och fantastisk utsikt över sjön som finns på Amerikas tredje kust. Detta omfattande renoverade hem är vackert inrett och perfekt för familjer med barn eller en grupp vänner som återskapar sin vänskap - allt i ett perfekt land och sjö. Vårt hem består av nybyggd ranch-stil, färdigställd i juli 2012, som inte har några trappor inuti. Det stora rummet erbjuder underhållning och matsal, inklusive öns sittplatser, matbord eller ett litet intimt bord som även kan användas för kort- och brädspel eller skrotning. De bekväma läderbänkarna är en perfekt sittgrupp för att titta på filmer. Köket är välutrustat och har även ett mini kylskåp för barn att lagra med sina egna mellanmål och drycker. Sovrummen är vackert inredda, bekväma och inbjudande. Den veranda är ett bra lekområde för barn eller sittgrupp för läsning; Det är också bra att bara titta på träden medan du sitter i en gungstol eller på våra bekväma rottingmöbler. Stranden har den bästa hårda sandbotten på sjön och är utmärkt för simning. Och det är särskilt bra för barn eftersom det blir långsamt långsamt - knä djupt för 20 till 30 meter ut. Kanot är ett roligt sätt att utforska sjön. Om du har en båt och vill använda kajen finns det alltid någon du kan ringa för att hjälpa dig till en liten avgift. Solnedgångarna kan vara spektakulära på sjön. Ett däck med bord för uteservering är en perfekt plats att njuta av en fantastisk utsikt över sjön. Great family trip!

Very nice and clean lake property. Rental company is very helpful and responsive. Plenty of room for all 8 adults and three kids. Loved the openness and big table so everyone could enjoy a meal together. We had a great time with our family.

Upon entering, it smelled so fresh and clean. This is a great location for a group on one level. The kitchen is organized and stacked well for all kinds of cooking needs. We made great meals, played cards, went shopping and enjoyed a bonfire! I would highly recommend.

Leadership retreat

We rented the property to host a weekend leadership retreat for our church leaders. The property was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We reallly appreciated our stay and the sun set over the lake was beautiful.

Plenty of space for a good-sized group.

Kitchen is well appointed and easy to cook meals for a large gathering. Beds are very comfortable. Great place for family get togethers. Second time we've been to their properties and will do it again.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. The lay out was perfect for our weekend get away. The kitchen supplied with all our needs and room at the table for all to gather with the lovely view of the lake!The canoe with its easy access was in use much of our time and kids enjoyed fishing off the dock.We also had bikes up and own the quiet roads.Thus the property had a perfect location for a fun filled weekend gathering.

Family vacation

Owner was very helpful, easy to work with. We enjoyed the large living space, very open and bright. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed the water for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Fire pit was super. Overall everything was great!

Beautiful Lakefront Property, very peaceful

This property was perfect for our annual Cousin gathering. We made wonderful memories at this house. All bedrooms were very comfortable and spotless. The house had everything we could possibly need or want. Close to many different coastal towns for day trips. The property's staff and local contact were great in answering any of our questions.

Great Girls Getaway

We had a great girls weekend! The house was clean, updated and just as described online. The beds were comfortable and having three bathrooms was awesome. It was a snowy weekend and the walkways were shoveled twice and the driveway was plowed. This is a wonderful place for a group to stay!

Great Remote Location

My friends and I chose this Vrbo for our annual retreat in a remote location and this served us well! Very spacious (we made it work for 12 young adults), the property management team was very efficient and proactive with their communication (they answered all questions), the check-in/out process was smooth, and the lake that the property was off of was beautiful.Though this is likely a more desirable place for a family summer vacation, my group and I had a great time. I would recommend this Vrbo for anyone looking for a place to stay in Pullman/South Haven.

We had a great stay with our group of 10 friends. The access to the lake was great even though the weather wasn't on our side. Location was a bit further from other attractions than we anticipated but it was located between South Haven & Douglas/Saugatuck so we were able to visit both during our trip. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone to spread out. We couldn't find the remote during our stay but didn't end up using the TV much anyway. Communication with the host beforehand was great, answered all our questions and suggested things to do in the area. Great find for a Southwest MI getaway!

The owners fell in love with southwest Michigan on a trip to visit friends in South Haven nearly 15 years ago. As Chicago natives, they were immediately enchanted by the serene atmosphere and natural beauty — not to mention the extensive outdoor activities. Since then, they have embraced the tradition of spending holidays and summer weekends in the area, and it was only a matter of time before they decided to find a vacation home of our own.

They discovered their first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over ten years ago. They began renting the cottage there out of a desire to share their wonderful experiences there with others. Now with three additional rental properties, they love offering a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
