Fabulous Rental

This was the perfect rental for my family while we were in town celebrating my son’s graduation from UofA! The house was spacious, plenty of areas for gathering and hanging out with family.

Spacious home

This home has lots of room for a family. Making meals here as an alternative to dining out 3x per day helped us keep our budget in check. Location provides quick access to shopping and dining for a lengthy duration.

Fantastic Home Away from Home

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was spacious, with 3 bedrooms, separate living, dining, reading, and family rooms, and a decent patio. Well stocked with lots of appliances, kitchen stuff, linens, etc.But the real benefit was how much it felt like a home. On the first night as we were getting ready for sleep, my 11 year old said, "Dad, I feel really comfortable here, can we stay longer?" Not much more you can ask in a rental. And that was the only problem for our trip... that we could not stay longer.10/10 will stay again.

Pleasant Home, Pleasant Neighborhood

Shadow Run is in a quiet neighborhood. We felt secure and comfortable during our stay there. We walked for exercise several mornings and the folks we met were pleasant and welcomed us as guests. The home is clean, roomy, and has plentiful windows to bring in the daylight.

A tired but comfortable house

This spacious home has a comfortable ambience and eclectic art. There are lots of great lamps for reading and ambient lighting and a fabulous modern reading or lounging chaise longue. The master bed is terribly hard (beyond firm) and many aspects of the house are tired and in need of an upgrade.

Great stay in a nice area of Tucson

The property was exactly as advertised. We live in Vail AZ, and needed a place to stay while we put our house in the market. Lots of books and art, and we love both. The only negative might be for a family with smaller children, it may not be ideal because there are a lot of fragile items in the home (art, furniture, etc.). We would stay here again.

Desert palace

This house surpassed all my expectations. The house had an amazing library and was so warm and welcoming. A great outdoor space with orange and grapefruit trees and plenty of indoor room. It accommodated my family very comfortably. In the better side of Tucson, friendly/ quiet neighbors.. This home wins Tucson in my opinion!

Inviting and comfortable

Spacious and homey with unique decor, art, and books. Loved all the different spaces and places to relax separately and together. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and there are plenty of conveniences nearby. It was a great home base for our family group of five. It felt like staying at a favorite aunt and uncle’s place, with some character, instead of a typical generic rental. The whole rental process with Vacasa was easy - we appreciated the welcome information and gift - and we would there stay again!

Relaxing stay!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Location was perfect...close to stores and the hospital, which we needed because a family member was there. Owners were very quick to respond. Only slight complaint I have is the water in the shower will scald if anyone turns on other water. Other than that, I would recommend, and definitely would stay here again!!

Really spacious but one bedroom had a really hard bed.

Impressive and comfortable would stay again but not use front bedroom, bed was too hard but that's a personal preference.

Light filled open home

Conveniently located in the Catalina foothills, this home is spacious, with some nice views from inside as well as out. Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, post office and several malls with all businesses in between nearby. We felt the beds were all too hard and the kitchen/cookware needs to be updated. Also the showers were in a bit of disrepair. The cutlery set was impressive. It was very basic in terms of furnishings, with the front room completely bare. I enjoyed the den area for reading into the delightful collection of books. There is patio seating in the back, but the yard is under developed, so not really user friendly. Although there is a double car garage, it’s off limits. That made the slanted driveway a bit difficult. So we liked the home and feel with a few more amenities it would improve the experience significantly.

good space, amenities and beds need some TLC

The house is in a great location and spacious. Little tweaks would go a long way to taking this place from good to great. Nice decor - the beds are not comfortable. Master is just ok, the other beds have very thin mattresses and are uncomfortable to sleep on. The bunk beds are squeaky. Would recommend upgrading the beds and ensuring that kitchen items be checked over (hairline crack in wine glass in cupboard, wine opener broken, dingy kitchen towels). Overgrown sticker bush too close to driveway- interfered with passengers exiting car. Limited cable selection.Stereo system not operating.
