We had a wonderful stay for a kid free weekend in Decorah. The place was quiet and peaceful. My husband and I even sat down and played scrabble with the night to ourselves. The midcentury flair was fabulous throughout and the woodworking is marvelous. The only thing we were missing was a coffee maker.

Off street parking at house, can walk or drive to downtown area, no TV a plus as it gave us a chance to rest and re-group, spacious living/kitchen, bedroom and bath areas. Loved the decor and beautifully handcrafted furniture created by the owners. Owners readily available to answer questions and make sure the accommodations were to our liking, while being totally non-intrusive. We enjoyed every minute at the house and will stay again.

Comfortable and great location

My son and I stayed here while dropping him off at college. Everything in the home was very comfortable and communication with the owners was superb. The location is also in a wonderful place, as everything in town and the college were no further than a couple miles, with downtown eating and stores within walking distance.

This is a beautiful apartment! Everything was sparkling clean. My only disappointment was the very compact kitchen which didn't have as much equipment as I expected. (I do actually cook when we travel and I am sure most people don't.) I was able to make do and will be prepared next time.
