Ägarna har sparat ingen kostnad renovera detta tre sovrum / tre-bad villa från topp till botten! Rymlig och vackert inredd med en elegant florida kustinredning, har detta populära semestermål funktioner som berörs hela tiden. Njut av kaffe på morgonen på ditt däck med utsikt över viken eller din egen balkong utanför sovrummet. Sovrummet ligger på andra våningen och har en king size-säng; Gäst sovrummet har en drottning och våningssängar (perfekt för barnen), medan gäst sovrum på huvudnivån har en drottning. I slutet av en solig dag på stranden finns underhållning för alla med plattskärms-TV i varje rum. Ny gasgrill per 1 mars 2019. Njut av bekvämligheten med en hiss från mark till huvudnivå, samt en sluten bil med två bilar.

Portside Villas ligger på den mycket önskvärda västra änden av stranden, precis före ingången till Gulf Islands National Seashore. Pristin strand så långt ögat kan se! Portside Villas har även en pool och tennisbanor.

Great Stay

Have never had to wait till 5 on anywhere I have stayed before. Overall though the house is really nice and great quiet location.

Great Condo for Family and Grandparents - ELEVATOR

We were looking for a luxury condo that had a full bathroom with each bedroom and (if possible) an elevator for our older parents who can no longer walk up stairs. This condo fit the bill perfectly. The condo was upscale and had plenty of room for all of us. Our daughter invited her friend and they had a blast as well. It was a fairly quiet beach which was also nice. All the big hotels, crowded beaches and restaurants were a quick car ride down the street. It was great. Thank you for having us.

Pros and Cons

Nice in some respects. The “elevator” doesn’t go to the top floor-odd. The kitchen is narrow and has a washer/dryer in it. The dryer sounds like it’s about to go. This isn’t our first rodeo. Usually we stay at privately owned homes. This one is run by a property management company. Big difference. The usual provisions are not there. Two trash bags and “that’s the starter set-then you buy your own.” For $500+ a day, they can provide a box of trash bags. And lucky you-to take the trash out you have to walk to the tennis courts and open the gate and throw it in the dumpster. Unbelievable. Rugs curling-trip hazard. Rugs are Dirty. Couches and cushions are worn. We had to wipe out the oven cleaner-guess it was left on to work and forgotten about. Definitely not impressed. Not a do again.

Great place for family stay

Three generations enjoyed this lovely home right on the ocean. The decks both had a great view of the ocean, the rooms were big and each had a private bath. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals and the location was ideal...quiet and a few blocks away from all the action. Really enjoyed this little gem hidden near the entrance to Fort Pickens.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Portside Villas #5--it was a great location and fit for our family with the space and views and access to the beach. A few things to mention though that could have improved our stay. We found several pots and pans that were dirty and greasy with food stuck to them that had to be cleaned before using--clearly previous renters had put away dirty in that condition but still not great to discover. The rug in the main area had food crumbs visibly in a lot of spots when we arrived. Our sheets were sandy the first night we got in them and we had not gone to the beach or anywhere outside as we arrived late so the sand was not from us. Also, there was only one set of towels per person in the bathrooms. Management should oversee quality of cleaning and amenities a little more closely before check in. In spite of these issues we really enjoyed our stay and space. Staff was responsive to deal with AC and elevator problems swiftly and offered great recommendation when we got a flat tire during our stay. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Fantastic!

Our stay was flawless…every couple had their own room and bathroom. We had a plumbing issue and the plumber was there before we even finished reporting the issue - lightening fast! We will be back!

There were not a lot of personal effects taking up closet space or cluttering the rooms. Very short walk to the beach and other activities close. Our family had the BEST week here. The location is perfect, we didn’t even have to put our shoes on to go to the beach. We had our three daughters with us, ages 11, 10, and 3. The house was clean upon arrival and just amazing. We would totally stay here again! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The pictures of the property are accurate, the condo is spacious--clean and close to the beach-just a two minute walk. Property management very friendly and responsive; and did I mention this unit has an elevator which came in handy for loading heavy items. The kitchen was well stocked with useful items...we cooked every meal. I would definitely try to stay here again if the unit is available.

Perfect Location

Beautiful property at a perfect location. Comfortably slept 5 adults and 2 children. Only issue we had was someone before us had seemingly placed a fresh catch from the ocean in the fridge and the fridge smelled terribly the whole week we were there. Not much a cleaning crew can do to fix that with a short turnaround each Saturday though. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

It was a home away from home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was spacious, comfortable, close to everything, and the beach views and access were fantastic! The elevator was very nice to use with unloading our luggage and groceries upon arrival and loading luggage to head home. The house was equipped with our needs. Thank you for the use of the beach towels and beach chairs. They made the beach very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again. The house is close to everything we like to do and the places we like to eat. So the location is wonderful and perfect, which worked out well for our family. A favorite spot was the table behind the couch. It's a wonderful place to eat breakfast and drink coffee or tea in the morning. We could sit and take in the views. We did this on a rainy morning and thought the table was a wonderful furniture placement. The checking in process was different than what we have used with other rentals. We were used to the code box on the doors. But picking the keys up at the 24 hour office and dropping off in the key box worked out well. We were glad the 24 hour pick up office and the drop off key box was an option. With our 13 hour drive, we would not be able to do the regular hours. I think the only problem we had, there were only 3 cereal bowls and there were 4 of us. Those were the only bowls in the cabinet. So maybe add a few more. But that's the biggest complaint, which isn't much at all. Thank you for the use of the home. We look forward to staying again.

So close to the beach!

Very nice unit! Amazing views and the walk to the beach is literally 2 minutes over the boardwalk. They had a few items in the garage to use at the beach, chairs, umbrella, floaties etc. Far enough out of town to feel calm but still so close it was only a few minutes drive. Fort Pickens farther down is completely worth going to and walking around. Would stay here again!

It was nice to have the private beach to go to during the day, especially since Covid numbers are so high we spend all our time at the beach. Any concerns we addressed easily and promptly, I highly recommend staying here.

Missouri family reunion

The location, views, 3 levels of outdoor living space, very expensive fine quality outdoor furniture (we Googled it!) garage parking, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc…just can’t be beat!! There was an issue with cleanliness due to a hurricane evacuee that was allowed to stay there with a canine family member, and thus we encountered a lot of dog hairs all over and pet urine on the couch, pillows, living area rug, and tons of hair in and around the washer & dryer. My mom and sister are allergic to pet hairs. We reported that to the rental agency and I’m sure that the owners will be taking care of it. We will definitely stay here again. The beach is literally 30 seconds out the door. The best restaurants are a five minute drive.Airport is 30 minutes away.

Would book again, but needs basic cleaning supplies

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this condo. We have stayed in other condos in Pensacola over the years, and this was definitely a great set up for our trip. My biggest complaint was the lack of basic cleaning supplies that weren't provided, like a broom, hand soap, Windex for cleaning the glass topped tables, etc. Basic supplies that a renter shouldn't need to purchase for staying a week at the beach. We try to keep the condos we rent clean throughout the week, but were unable to do so without investing in our own supplies.
