Vyerna är essensen i Sajama-huset (tidigare Hall House); Ouray-dalen och slående bergslandskap i Cimmaron och San Juan Ranges och majestätiska 14 000 toppar.

Utsikten från vardagsrummet och främre däck är lugnande och vackra, utifrån ser du norrut och Grand Mesa. Du kan helt enkelt titta på att dagen går, när molnen dansar med skönheten omkring dig, färger spelar över bergen och dalen ut genom ytterdörren, och på natten korsar Vintergatan himlen ovanför huset.

Den 850 kvadratmeter mysiga och avskilda reträtten till fjällstugan ligger på plaskan i Log Hill Village, 1000 meter över staden Ridgway.

Perfekt för en romantisk bortflykt eller tillräckligt rymlig för en familjesammanträde.

Två sovrum, ett och ett halvt badrum plus en bekväm bäddsoffa gör sovplatsen med plats för 6. Fullt utrustat kök, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare gör det möjligt för en bekväm vistelse med enkelt köravstånd till Ridgway, Ouray och Montrose.

Golf, 4 rullar, jeeping, vandring, längdskidåkning, isklättring i världsklass, varma källor och många andra aktiviteter och utsikt finns i överflöd. Telluride, med skidåkning i världsklass är mindre än en timme bort.

We love this home!

This is a wonderful, cozy cabin-like home up on a huge hill with a 180 view of the San Juans. We’ve stayed here three times and will be back next year. It’s simply the beset for anyone wanting to be far from the maddening crowd but find civilization a short drive away.

The best ever vacation stay!

This is our second visit to Sajama and we have already booked next year. If you're looking for a getaway with a 180 view of the mountains in a lovely home with great, caring and responsive owners, this is your place. If I could, I'd rate it a 10!

Cozy Getaway with Views for Miles

My family and I had an absolutely lovely stay here. Communication was prompt during the check in process. Cabin feels very private and the views are spectacular. They have worked to make it homey and stocked with several day to day necessities. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for family of 3

This was our 2nd time staying at Sajama House and everything about it wonderful. Size is perfect for our family of three, neighborhood is quiet with plenty of hiking trails with amazing views. The view from deck is amazing especially at sunset. Great location; 15 min to Ridgway, 30 to Ouray and 45ish to Telluride or Montrose. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Would highly reccomend.

Cozy, clean with spectacular views

Everything was wonderful, especially relaxing out on the deck enjoying the beautiful San Juan mountain range. We had our dog so we made sure we cleaned up upon departure including shaking out the rug, vacuuming and cleaning the home all around. I wish they had more pantry space and an oven, otherwise a perfect vacation.

Lovely relaxing getaway

Everything was on premises that we needed. Views were stunning…house was warm & comfy…fun reading material to browse..nice walks through forests of pinyon pines. Everything was neat & clean…bed was SO comfy. The fireplace did not work but we didn’t care…watching sunrise over Courthouse mountain or sitting in sun on deck breathing the fresh air was all perfect!!

Clean and Comfortable Stay in Ridgway

Our family enjoyed the stay in this clean 2 bedroom, 1 full bathroom (plus extra toilet and sink) Loghill Village home. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked well, and even the garage is heated and cooled. Our teenage son enjoyed the loft and extra bed above the kitchen. The Wi-Fi connection is great and my husband didn’t have any issues keeping up with work or video calls when necessary. Communication with the owners and the property manager was great and we appreciated their quick responses.

We LOVED the Sajama House! Excellent location, stunning views in every direction!

We have stayed in over 15 VRBO's in the last 7 years and this was by far our favorite! Views to die for. Almost didn't want to leave the house. We loved Orvis Hot Springs, driving to Ouray, hiking the escarpment, seeing Box Canon Falls. We also rode the gondola at our day trip to Telluride and drove the million dollar highway from Ouray through Silverton to Durango to ride the Cascade Express train. Just constant beauty everywhere everyday. Ridgway is a stunning community with great places to eat. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

180 Degree Panoramic View

I’d give this place 6 stars if I could! The 180 degree view of the San Juan mountains is stunning to say the least. It was just what we were needing. It’s very private and secluded. The trails in the neighborhood are fantastic, especially the one called the Escarpment Trail. It runs along the ridge of Ridgway and the views are unbelievably beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and looking out at the mountains. The deck was one of our favorite places and it was so nice to grill and dine al fresco. I highly recommend this place. We will be back!

Very nice layout for property with awesome overlook of Ridgway. Area is nice after day of day trips, trail near place to walk pups that has nice overlook, and very quite backroads. Night sky is very pretty and the moon really lights up area as very dark if not used to that. Would stay again.

Great views of the mountains and Ridgway. The neighborhood was nice and easy to navigate. There were always a lot of deer to see. The house was small but very comfortable. Outside dining on the deck with the spectacular view was a big plus.

Spectacular views of Ouray

Had a wonderful stay in Ridgway. The views are magnificent. Can see Ouray, Mt Sneffles, and the Cimarron Range from the balcony. House was beautiful and comfortable.

Cozy cabin with great views!

The cabin was super clean and well stocked. Just the right size for our family of 4. Check in was easy and the owners were very friendly and quick to respond if we had any questions. We loved sitting on the deck taking in the beautiful views of the mountains. The neighborhood was quiet and we saw lots of wildlife while driving to and from the cabin. It is about a 15-20 minute drive up the mountain from Ridgway, so factor that in if you're planning on visiting other towns during your stay. It didn't bother us, we enjoyed being away from the busier areas...and the views are worth it!

Amazing View

The cabin was comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen. The view was incomparable. We loved sitting out on the patio and enjoying our meals with a gorgeous backdrop of the San Juan range.

Perfect place for us

We were a family a five with 2 teens and ten year old. The cabin was the perfect fit. It's not big but it was big enough. The views are amazing just like many other reviewers have mentioned. It was really hot a couple of days during our stay and the air conditioning was really nice to have. The kitchen included enough dishes and spices so we could cook some meals there. It was nice to have 1.5 baths too! No issues with the wifi. There were some games and books that we used also. Most days we were out exploring nearby towns of Telluride and Ouray, but we also went to Ridgeway a few times. There are so many hiking trails in the area which is mostly what we did. We did a couple of hikes right in the neighborhood which were very nice as well. Most people are really friendly in the neighborhood and almost everyone waves. One thing I really enjoyed was that we saw lots of wildlife. Lots of birds around the place including frequent hummingbird visits to the feeder. We saw a mule deer with antlers in velvet walk across the driveway one evening. Also, elk and deer on the drive in from town every day. I think this was a perfect place to stay and experience the beauty of SW Colorado with the snow capped mountains and peaceful valleys. Absolutely enjoyed out entire visit. One last note: Our host (Carol) was very responsive to any questions we had. Also, the local caretaker (Lisa) was there when we needed her (accidently locked ourselves out one day).

WOW!!!!

This place couldn't be in a more perfect spot. The views from the deck are spot on! The house had plenty of room and very comfortable with everything we needed. The area is majical!!! Short drive to Ouray and Telluride. Hiking everywhere. Hosts very accomodating and quick to respond. Absolutely want to go back!!!

The name Sajama House reflects the awe inspiring views of the San Juans. When we are not in Colorado, we live and work improving public health in Africa.

The views from the living room, and front deck are calming and beautiful, out the back, you look to the north and Grand Mesa. You can simply watch the day go by, as the clouds dance with 14,000 peaks, colors play across the mountains and valley out your front door, and at night the Milky Way crosses the sky above the house..
