Nice mnt house

House was easy to get to, located in a neighborhood. Outdoor space is lovely and hot tub was very nice and clean. This spot might not be the best for families with young kids, there were breakable personal items of the owners that were labeled with very expensive costs to replace.. check out the Wildwood recreation site nearby! Only 4Mins from the house.

Lovely home amongst the trees

A quiet neighborhood, a lovely home with lots to do, a wonderfully well put together vacation home. The hot tub was great and the host was easy to communicate with and allowed us a late checkout which was the perfect compliment to our weekend. He even ordered snow for our stay and the fireplace made lovely ambiance. We loved all the games and cozy blankets and beds and we'd love to come back.

Ski Week was Perfect

We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Hotub was great after skiing and was cleaned and serviced while we were there. Beautiful trail to the river. Just overall an excellent spot.

Sweet Mountain Cabin

We had a wonderful time, and the cabin is very clean and inviting. The short walk to the river and proximity to great hikes make for an ideal location.

Amazing place

Every detail was thought out. Very comfy beds. Fireplaces are a plus as well as the hot tub. Detailed instructions made it so easy to check in and out. Highly recommend this place !

Lots of Room, Clean, comfortable and great location

The Sandy River Ski House is a great place to stay while exploring the Mt. Hood area. The place is large, very comfortable beds, a good hot tub, kitchen is good and the outside area is very nice. The house is very close to restaurants, groceries, and many really good hikes. I would recommend this place and would stay again when in the area.

Short stay in Mt. Hood

We arrived at the house a couple of days late due to “crowd strike” and cancelled flights. David was so nice and easy to communicate with. He let us stay another day due to our late arrival. We loved the area and the house and grounds are exactly as shown. He gave us good info on hikes and restaurants

Peaceful get away

What a great house, had everything we needed plus more. The hot tub was sparkling. Enjoyed the walk to a beautiful river with chairs to sit and relax. The yard was just as peaceful and relaxing to sit in on a quiet street. David the host was very helpful.

Great experience!

Great getaway! Super clean house. Excellent woodsy walk to the river. We enjoyed all the little extras this host provides. Sparkling clean hot tub. The host was once again very helpful. Enjoyed sitting in the quiet yard, enjoying our morning coffee.

nice cabin

We stayed 3 days for a ski outing with 5 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. The lodging is roomy and comfortable. it's not fancy, but in a great location.

Cozy Spot

It was a comfortable place to stay between ski days over spring break. Tidy, clean, and well maintained, with rustic decor, we were able to relax and recharge without worries or hassle.

Very comfortable and clean

Perfect for a Family Getaway

Loved this house! Spacious and well stocked kitchen for all our needs. Lovely surroundings. Hot tub was a real hit. Lots of space for entire family and privacy in 3 bedrooms. We will definitely be back!!

A beautiful place to stay near the Sandy river

The house was quite nice, clean, and the owner was very helpful while not being obtrusive during our stay. Wood for the fireplace and stove was in abundance and a nice surprise relative to other places we have stayed. Thank you for having us and our dogs at your beautiful property.

Relaxing weekend

Very comfortable cabin. Short path from house lead to private beautiful spot on river. Really enjoyed a lovely old fashioned wood burning fireplace.

Very enjoyable stay. My third time there

Very enjoyable stay. Beautiful location. River is about 30 feet away. Very quiet. Cabin itself is quite spacious and well kept. Will probably be back again in the future.

Fabulous

This house was so full of personal touches, and the garden and walk to the river were beautiful! We really felt secluded, and at the same time we were so close to everywhere we wanted to go. In addition, the owner was so nice and helpful. It was a wonderful place to stay, and we already dream of our return.

Quiet and clean

We had a lovely stay at this quiet, clean and cozy home nestled in the woods by the river. The layout was perfect for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake and the grocery store was a quick jaunt away. We enjoyed the hot tub too!

Hi, I have owned a vacation home for the past 35 years. I enjoy having my wife, adult son and our friends share our lovely home with us. We are outdoor enthusiasts. We love to ski, raft, hike, backpack, swim etc.. Friends love to join us at the Sandy River Ski House for fun, relaxation, sitting around the fireplace and in the kitchen making yummy meals.

Varför värden valde detta boende

It is next to the river (200') with easy access to all the fun stuff to do on Mount Hood. Just a short 50 minute ride from Portland and we can be sitting on the porch sipping tea and listening to the sounds of the river through the large fir trees.
