4BR / 2BA - K, Q, K, 2S - 8 sovplatser - Kort promenad på ~ 100 meter tvärs över gatan till stranden! En klassisk Edisto Beach stuga med tallväggar, golv och tak. När du går in i havsutsiktskärmen veranda hälsas du med mycket sittplatser och även en matplats. Intill skärmen veranda är en dörr till en sida soldäck, också med havsutsikt. Från verandaen går du in i bostadsområdet. En matplats och ett stort äterkök, med en frukostbar och avföring, ansluter till vardagsrummet. Till höger om det stora rummet finns ett sovrum med en king size-säng. Det finns ett bad med en stalldusch i hallen på denna sida av hemmet och ett annat sovrum med en queen size-säng. På vänster sida av fastigheten är ett 3 sovrum med 2 singlar och havsutsikt. Bredvid matplatsen är det fjärde sovrummet med en king size-säng och en dörr till ett anslutande bad. Detta bad öppnar också in i den centrala delen av hemmet. Tvättrummet ligger bredvid köket.

En trevlig strand stuga i en bra plats på Edisto Beach! Ytterligare bekvämligheter inkluderar en soldäck utanför baksidan av huset. Under huset finns en betongplatta för att grilla eller bara hänga ut samt en stor sluten utomhusdusch. Internet-tjänster är tillgängliga.

Great location!!! The house was okay……. None of the fan lights actually worked and the “beds made” was just a blanket on top of a mattress protector. Thought it was an error but every bed was the same way. The kitchen was great and fully stocked. From the porch you can easily watch the ocean.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything. The coffee pot had coffee grounds in it. It rained the whole time during the days we were down there which I know no one can help that it just needs some updating. I think windows would be good on the front porch because it was raining and cold while we were there we like sitting out there, but it was very cold. I would probably rent again . It was a good view of the beach. It was great to be able to take the pet with us.

This is my third or fourth time at this house. I love the older charm. The knotty pine walls and the size is perfect. The kitchen is great. The front screened in porch and deck have ocean view and it's so relaxing.

This is our second time staying here within three months.The views and location is amazing. You can see and hear the beach from the front porches.We hope to stay again later this year and waiting for reply on if the home will be open or not after August.This home books fast when bookings open.

The house is old but sanitation is non-negotiable. The mop was leaning against the dining table when we arrived but the floor in that area was not mopped. The refrigerator was filthy and we had to clean it before placing food in it. The counters in the kitchen were dirty and had to be wiped down. It was bad to the point that I ask for some compensation from the manager. He wanted to send cleaners in the FOLLOWING DAY to clean and evaluate the situation. We weren’t going to stay in those unsanitary conditions. We took care of it. One of our group has COPD. Because of weather conditions, we spent a lot of time in the house. His conditions worsened and we left in the afternoon prior to our final day. There was no offer of compensation.

Exactly what we were looking for in a classic beach house - comfortable, clean, and laid back. Everything we needed was provided for which contributed to a wonderful visit. The front porch with the ocean view was my favorite part of the house. Will definitely rent again!

We had wonderful time staying at this property. Easy walking distance to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. I would stay here again. Can see beach from kitchen island. Furniture was a bit dated especially in the living room, but for the price we weren’t too concerned.

Place was nice right next to the beach. The only issue we had was when we checked in, there were a ton of dead roaches in the kitchen and living room

Leisure getaway

Great location during our February visit! Perfect beach house for our visit. We enjoyed the laidback atmosphere on the island and the more active lifestyle in Charleston. Would definitely like to stay there again!

The Gulls Nest was an absolute gem of a location with the beach right across the street. The place was exceptionally clean and was a very comfortable place to stay. Be sure to pay notice to the details that no linens or towels are provided.

Bought this stay for my parents as a Christmas present. Was a big mistake. They left a night early. Apparently they do not clean this house. Mold, coffee grounds in the coffee pot from previous tenants. I was charged a cleaning fee when it seems there is not a crew that upkeeps it. Very disappointed in VRBO letting this house stay on rental status. It’s a hazard. My parents have photos of all of it. Even the vents for AC are molded, including the filter in the return that hasn’t been changed in who knows how long. I never leave reviews but I am baffled I wasted my money. I would stay elsewhere.

We were disappointed to read this review, especially since neither the guest nor their parents contacted us during the stay to report any issues. We are always available and ready to respond quickly if anything needs attention, particularly regarding cleanliness or maintenance. We take guest comfort seriously and would have gladly sent our cleaning crew back to the house had we been made aware of any problems. We also followed up privately requesting photos to better understand and address the concerns—but received no response. In our experience, when a guest leaves a highly critical review without ever reaching out during their stay, the details are often overstated or inaccurate. We encourage future guests to communicate with us directly so we can ensure a positive and comfortable experience at The Gull’s Nest.

Great location

Location and spaciousness of this rental was great. As mentioned in many other reviews- house was dusty dirty and furniture very worn. Could be a dream house with some TLC and a quality cleaning service.
