Exactly as advertised. Clean and efficient layout. Washer and dryer handy for a nightly load of family’s laundry. Everything we needed was supplied. Location is fantastic—less than 10 min to beach access points (Meek’s Bay and Chamber’s Landing), hiking at Eagle Rock, and just 30 minute drive north to Tahoe City and south to South Lake Tahoe. Everyone we met said we chose a great location on the lake, and we agree!

Last Hurrah

We decided to take a last minute trip to Tahoe before our kids head back to school. We were fortunate to find O'Brien's Den. It was well appointed, great location in Tahoma (on the west side of Lake Tahoe), great proximity to hiking, Emerald Bay, Tahoe City, and the North and South shores of Lake Tahoe.

Cozy stay

The place was accurate and easy to access. The bathroom is really nice with heated floors and a rain shower. I feel like there are small things that could bring this stay to 5 stars, like higher quality sheets. Also, not sure if this was just during our stay, but there were chainsaws going right across the street during almost the entire day time while we were there.

Nice cabin, but cleanliness is a bit concerning

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself is wonderful. The location is great too. There were all the amenities needed in the kitchen, and it was fairly clean. It was disappointing to find that the bed sheets, pillow cases and comforter were in such bad shape, they looked so overused that at first we thought they hadn't been washed at all. Additionally, the towels were not very clean and smelled bad.

Beautiful, quiet Tahoma cabin in the woods

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this beautifully decorated cabin. It’s located in a lovely, quiet and friendly neighborhood. It’s within walking distance of the Tahoma Market and a coffee/gelato place that we like to visit. It is protected by bear fencing as are most of the homes in the neighborhood. It was easy enough to use but care would need to be taken with small kids. The kitchen was very well stocked. It has a single cup coffee maker but no coffee pot. The beds were extremely comfortable, the home was sparkling clean. This lovely home was a great size for the two of us but I think any more than two would be tight.

Solid, functional cabin on the west side of Tahoe!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a great overall experience with this rental during my first visit to Tahoe. The place was a great base for adventuring around the lake and maintaining and peaceful, local atmosphere. Sugar Pine park was a short walk with an uncrowded calm beach away from majority of tourists. Will be visiting again! Thank you!

Great little cabin!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at O'Brien's Den! It's located in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfy, and love the heated floor in the bathroom. It just a short hike to the Lake, and a nice beach that is not crowded at all. We needed to extend the stay one more day because of snow, and the host was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Lovely Cabin

O’Brien’s Den is an awesome cabin tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Tahoma, Lake Tahoe. It was perfect for my Husband and I and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The unit was very clean, organized and felt homey right from the start. The bedrooms are small, however, the linens, blankets, towels pillows are all very cozy. The kitchen is all set up with pretty much everything you need to prepare meals, and we did. It is a very quiet neighborhood which made for some very relaxing wine drinking in the comfy chairs provided out front. You could hear the swaying of the pine trees which was quite lovely. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks for a super relaxing weekend O’Brien’s Den!

Modern, Quiet Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at O'Brien's Den. The cabin is very modern and in a nice quiet location near Sugar Pine. It also has a nice backyard area that isn't displayed in any of the pictures. My only complaint is that the rooms are quite small, not much storage space for luggage or clothes or room for walking. We are a family of three so it worked out fine for us, for any family much bigger you might find the rooms too small.
