We had a great stay! This charming historic home was conveniently located within an easy drive (25 min) of Cooperstown All Star Village. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond during one of the hottest weeks of the summer by providing additional A/C units and offering helpful tips on keeping the house cool. The home was spacious, comfortable, and accommodated our family very well.

House is charming and offers plenty of room. Brook in front ofvthe house definitely increases the relaxation factor. Big wrap around porch was great for sitting and greeting the day with natures orchestra!

This is a very impressive house for your stay in the area. It was very clean and well stocked with pretty much everything you'll need. The owner responded quickly with any questions.I highly recommend staying here.

Overall the property was nice. My biggest complaint are the stairs leading up to the porch. They need a major update. Older people in our group tripped on them. The stair lifts are unequal. A couple are extremely high. The stairs to the upstairs of the property are difficult also.

Thank you for staying with us at our 1900’s farmhouse. We will work on the front steps next month. There are two bedrooms on first floor to accommodate elderly (our 90 year old parents stay downstairs). The original restored farmhouse stairs with bannister are manageable for fit guests.

Our stay at The Bridgehouse in New York was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.One of our favorite parts was the peaceful setting. Nestled beside a beautiful running creek, the property offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sitting on the porch listening to the gentle rumble of the flowing water was incredibly relaxing and truly soothing for the soul. It felt like stepping into a simpler, more peaceful way of life.My son especially loved exploring the area around the creek. He spent hours discovering crawfish, salamanders, and worms, which he happily used to feed the fish in the water. Watching him connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors made our trip even more special.The home was fully stocked with all the necessities for cooking meals and doing laundry, making our stay convenient and stress-free. Every detail seemed carefully considered, and it genuinely felt like a home away from home. For families visiting All Star Village, the location is ideal. The Bridgehouse is conveniently located nearby, making commuting back and forth quick and easy. After long days at the ballpark, it was the perfect place to return to and unwind. Having such a peaceful retreat close to the tournament activities made our stay even better.
