We were so sorry to leave! Such a lovely home! My kids didn’t board once! About 40 mins to Hershey and a little over an hour to Gettysburg. Neighborhood was clean and friendly and the home is just as it looks in pictures! There’s a reason he books up fast! Kyle was an amazing host! Thank you for sharing your home, Kyle!

We loved our stay. The house is honestly beautiful with so many creative touches. The location allowed us to spend one day in Lancaster, one day in Baltimore and then one day in Hershey but the real treat was relaxing in the house. The backyard is stunning, my kids loved all the activities from Connect 4 to the hot tub.

Excellent place to stay

We had an amazing experience at the Red Door Retreat. Everything was wonderful! The house was decorated beautifully, and the amenities were excellent! The popcorn machine, fine machine, smore’s kit, gas fire place, Infinity table, arcade game on second floor, IPad with all of the owner’s recommendations and instructions was so great!! We loved the backyard games too. Such a pretty oasis. The charging stations at the bedsides was convenient, the laundry amenities and no shortage of hygiene products (soap, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, dish soap, and dishwasher pods was so helpful to us. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

The House was just as pictured, with all of the amenities we could have needed. Kyle was a wonderful host, and super responsive. About 30 mins from Hershey, but a smooth ride through farm land. Wonderful vacation home, would highly recommend if traveling with pets. The neighborhood is lovely for walks.

The house was very clean and well-maintained with lots of attention to detail for visitor comfort and entertainment. We loved the popcorn machine, hot tub, firepit and lounging pool. We will definitely consider again in the future for a weekend Hershey trip.

There aren't words to express how amazing Red Door Retreat is. We had high expectations walking in based on the photos and reviews and they were exceeded. It is very apparent that the host has put time and thought into the home. The longer you are there and enjoy the home the more little touches you see. As noted in other reviews, you could easily spend a week here and hardly leave. We enjoyed a lot of time in the beautiful yard and playing various games on the infinity board. The countless amenities were touched above and beyond on behalf of the host. 100% recommend staying at Red Door Retreat, we will definitely be back and have already started looking at some of the hosts other properties. Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing stay Kyle!

The red door retreat has been beautifully decorated and lovingly maintained. Kyle is a thoughtful host and responded quickly to our questions. Every amenity has been included to provide you with a relaxing getaway. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. You know you will enjoy your stay here.

Great stay

Had a fun time with some friends at this property. The backyard area is setup nicely to spend hours outside together. The house itself was also super clean and host was quick to answer any messages. Would recommend to anyone especially if you’re making a trip to Hershey during your stay.

Spring Break

My family and I stayed for a week for my daughter’s spring break. The house was perfect! We went into Hershey as well as Lancaster. The game table was definitely a family favorite at the house!

Amazing home

Kyle was an amazing host! The house was so clean and well maintained! The yard was amazing! There was a ton of stuff to do at the house for the 16 year old boys. The parents could rest and relax! It was great!

Very nice, comfortable stay

Unique, charming, clean and comfortable home. It was well stocked and you can tell a lot of thought and heart was put into everything in the home. Lots of fun games and amenities (indoor and outdoor) for the family. My kids especially loved the hot tub, Foosball table, pacman and Infinity table. Location was great for us to visit to Hersheypark, Chocolate World, Indian Echo Caverns and even was less than 2 hours to take a day trip to Baltimore's National Aquarium. Kyle was great and very responsive and the couple minor issues we encountered, he took care of immediately. We had a great trip, my kids and I didnt want to leave! We would definitely stay again.

Right On!

My stay was with my daughter and her two friends, and their parents. Everything was right on! The house description, the amenities, the cleanliness, the instructions, the communication and the location. It was a very hot weekend and the A.C. units had the house chilled for our arrival. The foosball table was great, but the girls really enjoyed the Infinity game table. S’mores by the fire was a lot of fun for them. We’ll certainly be back next year!!

Retreat from the lax fields

The Red Door Retreat is a special property, with so much attention paid to the details of the decor, the amenities and the experience. We came into the area for a lacrosse tournament and truly appreciated the retreat away from the fields, and a space that allowed our entire family to enjoy our weekend away.
